A Case Study of Estimating Units of Deconstruction Waste by Each Parts for the Apartment (공동주택의 분별해체를 위한 부위별 원단위 산정사례연구)

  • Hereafter, the domestic housing industry has to give consequence to the redevelopment and rebuilding of existing housings rather than the supply by developing a new building site, and now those tendencies are rapidly spreading out. Also, because apartment buildings occupies 50% over of the existing housing, its maintenance, repair, remodeling and reconstruction got to be necessary area for the slumming prevention of a residential area and the disaster prevention occurred by durability lowering of the building. Accordingly, C&D waste is rising largely by reason of demolition works in city is increasing. The right management of C&D waste is being one of very important things, but little research has been conducted to estimate correctly C&D waste. In this study is to suggest standard units of C&D waste which can estimate demolition quantity of apartment. This units can estimate easily and correctly C&D waste in demolition works, also can possible use very important material to carry out policy of national waste management.

  • In the traditional four-step travel demand models, each step is sequentially conducted following the model estimation at the previous step. The accuracy of the following model is partly dependent on whether the model at the former stage was properly established or not. Therefore, trip generation, which is the first step in this conventional model, has great effects on the modeling process and forecasting results. Linear regression models for trip generation of Seoul Metropolitan Area might increase the forcasting errors, since a variety of land-use characteristics are not considered. Hence, in this study, zonal factors such as socioeconomic and land use variables are included to improve the elaboration of trip generation. Comparing the %RMSE with the existing models, which contain bigger errors in the zones highly based on the secondary and tertiary industries than residence-based, the trip generation models including those variables seem more appropriate overall.

  • This paper suggests some strategies for the regional regeneration of Baegun Railway station and surrounding area. One is the reduction of the regional unbalance in those divided into two parts, the other is multi-dimentional plan through the efficient land-use on the side area of railway. For these regional regeneration, providing integrated transit system for the passenger's convenience, connecting existing green axis and creating green zone covering the railway, modifying and improvement of residential environment are suggested.

순간 동적 사용자 최적 통행배정모형을 이용한 교차로에서 좌회전 금지 효과분석

  • 좌회전 제어네는 크게 좌회전을 금지하는 적극적인 제어에서 좌회전 신호와 좌회전 차선의 디자인 및 차선 설정과 같은 비교적 소극적인 제어가 있다. 기존의 좌회전에 관한 많은 연구는 대부분 후자의 소극적인 제어를 통한 제어효과를 파악하는데 주로 관심을 두었다. 좌회전금지의 효과분석 방법론에는 크게 교차로 및 링크(Link)와 네트워크(Network)의 두가지 차원의 접근 방법이 있다. 교차로 및 링크(Link) 차원의 분석은 TRANSYT 7F, PASSER IV 등과 같은 가로망에서 신호시간을 최적화하는 모형과 NETSIM, COSIM과 같이 조건에 따라 실제 차량의 행태를 모사하는 시뮬레이션 모형 등에서 좌회전 신호현시를 주거나, 주지 않음으로써 전후의 변화를 관찰, 분석에 이용할 수 있다. 그러나, 이러한 접근방법은 개별교차로에서 현시운영에 따른 효과를 분석하기에는 용이할 지 모르나, 좌회전 금지에 따라 전환된 교통량을 합리적으로 처리하는데 문제를 가지고 있다. 이에 반해 네트워크(Network) 차원의 분석은 좌회전 금지에 따른 거시적 수요변화를 파악하여, 좌회전금지에 따라 전환된 교통량을 합리적으로 수용 할 수 있으며, 교차로 및 링크(Link) 차원의 분석기법과의 결합을 통해 개별교차로에서 현시운영에 따른 효과도 어느정도 예견할 수 있을 것으로 예상되지만, 이에 관련한 여구가 전무한 형편이다. 본 연구의 목적은 네트워크(Network) 차원에서 좌회전 금지에 따른 효과 분석 모형을 정립하고, 가상 네트워크에 적용 그 유효성을 검증하여, 지역 네트워크의 개별교차로에서 좌회전 금지의 도입에 대한 의사결정의 기준을 마련하는데 있으며, 이를 위한 구체적 연구 내용은 다름과 같다. 첫째, 순간 동작 사용자 최적 통행배정모형의 구조 및 특성 파악. 둘째, 기존 가로망 표현기법의 구조 및 특성파악. 셋째, 좌회전 금지에 따른 효과 분석을 위한 순간 동적 사용자 최적 통행배정모형의 구축. 넷째, 좌회전 금지에 따른 효과 분석을 위한 가로망 표현기법의 개발. 다섯째, 가상 네트워크에서 구축된 모형을 통한 교차로에서 좌회전 금지 효과분석

Wave Propagation Characteristics for Mobile Communications beyond 3G in Microcellular Environments (마이크로셀룰라 환경에서의 차세대 이등 통신을 위한 전파 전파 특성)

  • This paper presents the a measured path-loss characteristics for mobile communications beyond 3G in microcellular residential area and street microcell at 3.4, 5.3, and 6.4 GHz band signals. The residential area is divided into two sections, one of which is composed of fifteen-story appartment buildings. The other section comprises four-story houses. The street microcell is classified line-of-sight(LOS) and nonline-of-sight(NLOS) areas. Both residential areas have standard deviations independent of the residential area classification, whereas the path loss exponents in the apartments is higher than those in area for same frequencies. A two-ray model is applied to analyse the path-loss charateristics in LOS areas. In LOS areas, an empirical breakpoint, whose distance is 6 percent shorter than a theorical breakpoint, is founded. Further, a sudden power level drop occurs at a transition point from LOS region to NLOS area. Path loss exponent is found to be significantly higher for non-LOS region than for LOS region. The power level drop due to corner loss and path-loss exponents both increase as the distance between the transmitter and the corner increases.

Evaluation of Lateral Load Resistance and Heating/Cooling/Lighting Energy Performance of a Post-disaster Refugees Housing Using Lightweight composite Panels (경량 복합패널을 활용한 구호주거의 횡하중 저항성능 및 냉난방조명 에너지성능 평가)

  • Following the earthquake in Gyeongju (2016) and Pohang (2017), South Korea is no longer a safe place for earthquakes. Accordingly, the need for shelters suitable for disaster environments is increasing. In this study, a lightweight composite panel was used to produce post-disaster housing for refugees to compensate for the disadvantages of existing evacuation facilities. For this purpose, an evaluation of structural performance and thermal environment for post-disaster housing for refugees composed of lightweight composite panels was performed. To assess the structural performance, a lateral loading test was conducted on a system made of lightweight composite panels. The specimens consisted of two types, which differed according to the bonding method, as a variable. In addition, the seismic and wind loads were calculated in accordance with KBC 2016 and compared with the experimental results. Regarding the energy performance, optimization of south-facing window planning and window-wall ratio and solar heat gain coefficient were analyzed to minimize heating, cooling, and lighting energy. As a result, the specimens composed of lightweight composite panels will perform sufficiently safely for lateral loads and the optimized window planning will lead to a low-energy operation.

Farmland Use Mapping Using High Resolution Images and Land Use Change Analysis (고해상도 영상을 이용한 농경지 지도 작성 및 토지이용 변화 분석)

  • This study aims to make a "farmland use map" using high-resolution images and to analyze the land use change for about 8 years in Goyang, Namyangju, and Yongin cities. We have made a new numerical map named as a farmland use map using high-resolution images taken mostly in 2007 and digital topographical maps in Goyang, Namyangju, and Yongin cities near metropolitan areas to classify farmland use of paddy, upland, plastic film house, and orchard. We also made a land use map by overlaying the farmland use map and the land registration map of each city made in 2007, and compared the land use map made by RDA (Rural Development Administration) in 1999. Paddy areas decreased at a range of 3,000 to 5,000 ha during 8 years and were changed to residential areas in the cities. Upland and orchard areas also showed similar tendency and were changed to residential areas as well. On the other hand, the areas of the plastic film houses in the cities showed an increase or same in size. It is suggested that farmland use map can be broadly used as a base map for various survey projects including soil survey, statistics, and farmland information management.

  • Seoul, although having a housing stock as huge as that of world metropolitan cities, have implemented growth-oriented policies by constructing new housing units rather than using or rehabilitating existing ones. There were, therefore, few political efforts to preserve and rehabilitate multiple dwellings. Today, substantial time has passed since multiple dwellings in Seoul and the first-stage new cities such as Bundang and Ilsan were constructed. What is required to maintain the quality of the existing housing and use it with safety is loan, subsidy and tax incentive programs which are able to promote the maintenance of existing multiple dwellings. The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the maintenance systems of financial assistance(the loan, subsidy and tax incentive programs)of the world's largest cities with various housing types, I e New York and Tokyo, and then to propose to Seoul a framework for the maintenance systems.

  • Hereafter, the housing construction industry in a domestic country has to give more relative importance to the redevelopment and the rebuilding of existing housing rather then the housing supply methods by the development of new housing sites, and those tendencies are rapidly spreading out. Also, because apartment occupies $50\%$ over of the existing housing, its maintenance, repair, remodeling and reconstruction got to be necessary area for the slumming prevention of a residential area and the disaster prevention occurred by durability lowering of building. But, as having focused on the housing supply methods by the development of new housing sites, the domestic construction industry has relatively carelessly dealt with deconstruction areas including maintenance, remodeling, redevelopment and reconstruction of old existing housing. Therefore the process of the deconstruction is not well suited to regulations and related technology. This paper suggests the present situation of C&D production and new demolition process through comparative analysis of the present demolition works.

The Impact of Urban Space Structure on Commercial Real Estate Markets (물리적 도시공간구조가 상업용 부동산시장에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper examines the impact of urban space structure on real estate markets, especially on commercial real estate markets. Based on a large scale of GIS dataset, volumes of each land use type are examined. This vast dataset enables 3-dimensional analysis of land use in the entire Seoul area, overcoming the limits of previous research relying on simple 2-dimensional analysis. After then, the Herfindahl index is used to calculate the level of mixed-uses. It analyzes whether a building price is influenced by circumjacent commercial buildings and its residential development pattern. The regression outcomes verify that a nearby area's development patterns make an impact on an office building price. It shows the possibility that a new-urbanism's argument can be actualized.
