  • The study explored a way to analyze return-on-investment for evaluating corporate e-learning programs. It is said to be not easy to measure return-on-investment due to complexity of determining exact amount of cost and benefit of any e-learning program. In this vein, it has been rare to see researches regarding return-on-investment for corporate e-learning programs. Nevertheless, it is needed to try to document return-on-investment evidence for verifying effectiveness of the programs. More concretely, the purpose of the study is to draw up guidelines in making decisions about whether companies should invest in e-learning programs any more at particular point of time.

  • The study investigated how did Credu pioneer Korean e-Learning market and reinforce their core competencies and how did they promote business diversification analyzing type of learning motives and examining Credu real cases. Under the fierce competition in the current e-Learning market, Credu has maintained their core competencies and strengthened an active communication channels with customers with focusing on investment to core businesses. Credu has introduced more adventurous and challenging products and services with creating a new model for the types of learning motives. This study could introduce the new perspective about the type of learning motives in e-Learning area. Also, the case study of successful e-Learning company, Credu, could contribute to make more spread e-Learning market techniques in this field in practice.

  • In business training, the biggest change through training plan, choosing trainees and conducting the training has been on education environment by information system. These changes are to attain effective learning based on the customer not the supplier. However there are still passive operation on the companies' strategic training course. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to offer alternatives for the difficulties on educational training operation and to find the way for effective operation.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate Chinese e-Learning development strategies based on the analysis of Korean Industry-Academia e-Learning cooperation. Literature review and interview with experts about the subject regarding this study were the main research methods for the study. The results of the study are as follows 1. Chinese government should amend and complement the e-Learning policy of the chinese enterprise continuously through the Korean government's experience about the e-Learning policy such as enterprise e-Learning system, standardization of LMS, and quality assurance. 2. Korean government's policy about e-Learning has emphasized on practical development of e-Learning contents and LMS. And we have found they have good effects from the policy in terms of human resource development. However, Chinese government generally has emphasized on external extension of the scale and administration.nte, Chinese government should follow the practical policy in the e-Learning development as Korean government has done. 3. The way of Individualized learning, cooperative learning, team work, WBI, standardized LMS, and Blended Learning in Korea could be well adapted in Chinese e-Learning.

A Study on the Advancement of Korean Companies into Chinese e-Learning Market (국내 기업의 중국 이러닝 시장 진출 방안 연구)

  • As the numbers of Internet users and the growth of education market along with the generalization of distance study increase, e-Learning industry in China is growing rapidly more than 20% each year. However, domestic e-Learning industry for entry to the Chinese market is showing inadequate result even though its potential growth in China and their scale of industry is near about 3 trillion won. A type of this industry is combined with Information Technology (IT) and education industry and their complex factors need to be considered because of the country's education policy and ICT infrastructure. In addition to these factors, sometimes main agents can be the government or a private organization and they form different circumstances each other. Therefore, it is required to have an in-depth study of the entering the Chinese market based on an accurate analysis for Chinese education and culture. In this research, it will focus on the current state of e-Learning market in Korea and China after studying the e-Learning system through the existing reference research. Moreover, this research will propose a method of the entry for the Chinese e-Leaning market through a case study from domestic and foreign companies.

A Study on Awareness to Effectiveness of the Cost Estimation Guidelines for e-Learning Content Development in Era of Convergence (융합시대의 이러닝 콘텐츠 개발대가 산정 가이드라인의 실효성에 관한 인식 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the base for activation policy for cost estimation guidelines of e-Learning content development. To achieve this purpose, this study investigates the effectiveness of cost estimation guidelines of e-Learning content development through a survey about executives and employees in the e-Learning industry and analyses them statistically. According to an analysis, companies(which abandoned order because the amount of money (cost) of e-Learning contents ordering is low and suffered a loss after acquiring e-Learning contents project order) have a relatively negative awareness about the effectiveness of cost estimation guidelines of e-Learning contents. On the other hand, contents focused companies have a relatively positive awareness about the effectiveness of cost estimation guidelines of e-Learning contents. In conclusion, this study suggests that government should recommend and enact announce the use of cost estimation criteria(guidelines) of e-Learning content development and provide the institutional tools soon as possible.

  • 정보 통신 기술은 비즈니스를 변화시켰고, 이제 교육에도 영향을 미치고 있다. e-Learning으로 대변되는 교육의 변화는 교육의 패러다임을 변화시키고 있다. e-Learning은 현재 정부차원에서 적극적인 지원을 하고 있는 상태이고, 시장 규모 및 성장 가능성이 매우 높다. 그러나 아직 시장이 성숙되어 있지 않고 기업환경이 불확실하기 때문에 e-Learning 시장 참여자들의 본격적인 투자 활동은 미진한 수준으로 보인다. 이에 본 연구는 e-Learning에 대한 특징을 살펴보고 국내외 산업 현황 및 정책 방향을 분석하여 e-Learning에 대한 현안과 문제점을 진단하고 발전 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기업교육에 있어서 e-Learning을 효과적으로 실현하기 위해 Information Filtering을 제안하고자 한다. 사용자 profile에 기반하여 지식 경영상 시스템을 기업교육에 도입함으로써 정보 검색 시 term space에서 모든 단어를 vector로 나타내어, 사용자 profile과 비교 측정하여 다음 유사한 측정을 통해서 원하는 정보 문서를 사용자에게 제공한다. Information Filtering의 도입으로 사용자의 흥미 변화에 맞춰 다이나믹하게 공급되는 학습 문서속에서 기업을 위한 e-Learning으로 경영성과를 높이는 하나의 전력을 제시한다.

  • This paper derives the strategic implications of smart learning as a sophisticated alternative to e-learning through the convergence approach of e-learning and Bigdata based on the practices of developed countries. To this, this paper derives e-Learning status and challenges issues in Korea, and then, analyzes the convergence case of e-learning and data science in major foreign advanced companies and universities. In addition, this study conducts an awareness survey on Bigdata applied for employees of e-learning companies, and then derives a strategic alternative to the Bigdata convergence-based smart learning effectiveness in the industry with the analysis of the survey data.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a proper improvement direction of the public ordering and receiving system in related with e-Learning. The research methods for this paper are derived from survey about e-Learning companies and the written materials of the present public e-Learning project. According to the study, in most cases, the public e-Learning projects don't affect positively e-Learning company's businesses. It indicates that the public e-Learning project has three problems or improvement items. And as a solution to the problems, it presented the policy alternatives the policy alternatives as the concept of ordering and receiving system.
