The Effects on Parcel Service Satisfaction in Logistics Information Technology of Parcel Company (택배기업의 물류정보기술이 택배서비스 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 인터넷쇼핑몰 택배서비스 이용자 중심 -)

  • The rapid growth of e-commerce market and changes in distribution channels and consumption patterns have brought about the continuous growth of the domestic parcel service market. To cope with the growth and environmental changes of the parcel service market, parcel companies have made efforts to improve logistics process and construct an information system for customer satisfaction. Since they have focused on a high quality parcel service through a variety of information technology rather than price competition, the importance of logistics information technology has been greatly perceived. Accordingly, this study examined that how information technology and information system quality of parcel companies was perceived by customers and how it influenced parcel service use and satisfaction. To achieve this purpose, this study developed a valid and reliable measurement instrument for logistics information system quality and customer satisfaction based on literature reviews. Then empirical research was made through a questionnaire survey. As a result, six determinants of logistics information system quality were derived: economy, SMS information, tracking web-site information, stability, speed, and accuracy. All factors but economy were found to have positive effects on customer satisfaction in parcel service. Finally, the theoretical and practical implications of the findings were also discussed.

  • SCM system is a strategic cooperative that organically integrates all supply chains to improve the performance of a company. For effective SCM system, emphasis is placed on securing long-term, mutual relationships and change management. The implementation of an SCM system is likely to introduce a wide range of changes in and across member organizations and these changes are likely to be met with scepticism and resistance by individuals and organizations in the chain. Thus, the success of an SCM system cannot be guaranteed without effective change management. And we adopted the concept of information orientation (IO) as our method to measure the performance of an SCM system through information quality and information sharing. Therefore, this study examined the influence of mutual, reciprocal relationships among change management on information capability through information quality and information Sharing. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, change management had a significant influence on information quality, information Sharing and information capability. Second, information quality had a significant influence on information Sharing and information capability. Third, information sharing had a significant influence on information capability.

  • 사용자 만족(User satisfaction)은 Bailey와 Pearson(1983) 이후, 정보시스템 분야의 연구에서 시스템의 성능(Performance)을 대변하는 성과변수로서 가장 널리 사용되어져 왔다.[Delone & McLean, 1992]. 그러나 사용자 만족은 실제 시스템의 객관적인 성능이나 품질이 아닌 사용자에 의해 지각된(Perceived) 만족이므로, 인간이 인지과정에서 받는 다른 영향들로 인하여 지각된 성과는 실제의 시스템 성능과 다를 수 있다.[Gatian 1994; Szajna & Scamell, 1993. 따라서 만일 사용자가 지각한 성능이 객관적인 실제의 시스템 성능과 반드시 일치하지 않는다면, 그 원인은 무엇이며, 사용자가 시스템을 평가하는 과정에서 어떤 요인들이 작용하여 이러한 왜곡된 결과를 가져오는지, 사용자 만족이 결정되는 인지적 과정을 규명할 필요가 있다. 이러한 의미에서 본 연구는 마케팅 분야에서 일반상품에 대한 소비자의 만족 결정에 영향을 주는 변수와 그 결정과정을 연구한 소비자 만족/불만족(Consumer Satisfaction / Dissatisfaction)의 연구이론을 도입하여, 정보시스템이란 상품을 대상으로 사용자가 만족을 느끼게 되는 과정을 인지적(Cognitive) 관점에서 규명하고, 만족결정에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 찾아낸 후 소비자 만족을 결정하는 모형을 연구하고자 하였다. 8개 기업의 정보시스템 사용자부터 데이터를 수집하여 LISREL을 이용하여 사용자 만족 연구 모형을 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 결정모형은 유의하였으며 정보시스템의 사용자 만족에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 시스템의 성능 뿐 아니라 기대불일치가 함께 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 시스템 성능의 향상과 함께 사용자들의 기대수준 관리에 관심을 기울일 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Industrial cluster is adopted as a key policy for the development of regional and national economies in many developed or under-developing countries. The industrial cluster is basically concerned with knowledge sharing and exchanges among diverse functions such as firms, research institutions, and universities in a regional or innovation-network context. Therefore, activities to promote knowledge sharing and exchanges in an industrial cluster become very important activities to reach to the original purpose of an industrial cluster. In this study, factors affecting performance of those activities to promote knowledge sharing and exchanges in an industrial cluster are defined and the effects are examined through empirical study. For this research, surveys on enterprisers and employees in industrial cluster were conducted and statistical analysis methods such as correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and canonical correlation analysis were adopted for analyses.

  • This research studied that the effect of consulting local SMEs focusing on the effective factors related to quality of theoretical study and the previous studies according to research model and research hypotheses. Also, in this empirical analysis, analyzed the consulting performance that distinguish such as consulting procedures quality, consulting adaptation, consultant emotional intelligence and efforts factors. Second, in relationship with consulting adaptation and performance, statistically significant relationship showed weak. Finally, the quality of the consultant engagement and emotional intelligence was analyzed high significance. Therefore, this study further accounting information systems consultant at consultant emotional intelligence factors can expect a useful guidelines.

  • The objective of this paper is to examine the determinants of technology transfer for Small and Medium Enterprises. Based on IP-MARKET, KIPRIS, and Wintelips, we employ the logistic regression analysis using all data related with technology transfer in markets for intellectual property rights from 2008 through 2012. Our main results are as followings: (i)the more inventors the higher possibility; and (ii)the more claims and forwards the higher possibility of success in technology transfer in Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Effect on Firm's Performance of Employee Stock Option (종업원의 주식보상시스템이 기업성과에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, I compare the ability of alternative accounting method for employee stock option to reflect firm value using the Ohlson's(1995) valuation model for 200 firms. The each methods, I compare are employee stock option expense recognition based on the K-GAAP disclosures, and asset recognition at the grant date based on the SFAS No. 123 Exposure Draft: Accounting for stock-based compensation. The model include: (1) a model that uses reported earnings, equity book value, and compensation expense based on the K-GAAP disclosures; (2) a model that uses pro-forma earnings, equity book value and adds a measure of the unrecognized asset arising form granting of employee stock options. Finding form estimating equations that the K-GAAP method for calculating compensation has no explanatory power, and the SFAS No.123 Draft Exposure method for arising asset and fair value compensation better captures than market's perception of the economic impact of stock options on firm values. However, the correlation of employee stock option compensation expense is positive. These results suggest that incentive benefits derived from employee stock option plans outweigh the cost associated with plan. In addition, I couldn't find evidence that company in KOSDAQ that have high growth potential benefit more from employee stock option plan compared to lager, more mature firm in SEC.

  • 최근 들어 TCP/IP(인터넷 프로토콜)기반 역추적의 기술적 한계를 이용해 각종 명의(계정)도용 사건을 비롯해 금융피싱 사고들이 부쩍 늘고 있다. 이 때문에 천문학적인 경제 및 사회적 손실이 초래되고 있음은 물론, 사이버상의 각종 행위에 대한 제약과 발전을 가로막고 있다. 이와 같은 난제를 해결하고 기업 혹은 기관의 보안시스템을 참화하기 위해 실시간 역추적 기술이 등장했다. 과거 정보보호시스템의 가치는 비용 절감, 강력한 보안기술 도입 차원의 맹목적 시도, 구축에 따른 구축 난이도에 초점이 맞추어져 있었다. 하지만 최근에는 정보보호 투자성과 평가에 대해 더욱 설득력 있고 과학적인 결과를 원하고 있으며, 단순한 재무적 시스템 효과보다는 종합적인 비즈니스 효과에 대한 ROI 평가를 중요시하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 역추적 기술의 필요성과 배경에 대하여 살펴보고, 흔히 많이 사용하는 방식인 재무 관점의 비용 효과(Cost-Benefit) 기법을 통해 역추적 기술 개발의 투자수익률(ROI)을 분석할 수 있는 기준을 도출해 본다.

The Study on the Impact of the Task-Technology Fit Model and Organizational Characteristics of the Mobile Office System on the Job Performance (모바일오피스의 과업·기술 적합모델과 조직특성이 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • It is required for enterprises to construct the proper information management system in order to cope with the volatile business situations. The mobile office system is introduced from the needs to provide organization members smart information and mobility. By setting the model, hence, we intend to scrutinize the impact of the task-technology fit model and organizational characteristics of the mobile office system on the job performance. As a result, system quality, information quality and mobility are revealed to affect positively the task-technology fitness and the fitness also affects the job performance positively. Organization characteristics affects the job performance positively through the task-technology fitness, too. Therefore the organization which plans to introduce the mobile office system should consider the task-technology fitness and exert organizational-level efforts to adopt and use the mobile office system in the workplace.

  • The BSC which was proposed by Kaplan and Norton, is being used as a general performance measurement tool in various firms and industries. BSC approach links strategic objectives with specific operation indices and it can efficiently evaluate the attainment of the goals of the firm. This study is a BSC based case of the government R&D institute which is staffed with knowledge experts in the research areas. In order to bring a major change to a public research organization and shape a strategy focused organization, it is essential to understand the proper methodology of the whole construction process of BSC from the mission of the institute through the establishment of vision and strategic direction, KPI building, and a strategy map set, to the implementation of the BSC monitoring system. By investigating the application process, in this research we intend to provides useful implications in the BSC construction process of public research agencies.
