  • In order to relieve overcrowding, the Korean government has regulated firm's locations in the capital region of Korea. However, the standard of regulation mainly depends on the place of province. Using KIS-Value data of firms that are located Pyeong-taek(the Capital area) or Cheon-an(Non Capital area), in close proximity to each other, we utilize OLS and negative binomial regression models for identifying the difference of firms' management and innovation performance in terms of firms' location difference(regulation difference). Our analysis shows that innovation performance of firms in Cheon-an does better than Pyeong-taek's, but management performance has no gaps between them. This result indicates that the regulation of firm's location has influence on firm's innovation performance. Thus, regulation policy regarding firms' location need to be minutely amended.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that affect professor startups and their performances in Universities in Korea. We included 5 categories of factors: University's size and reputation, University's technology commercialization staff number and startup deregulation, University's resources for research and technology commercialization, University's patents and professors' publication, and student startups. We analyzed 150 Universities, using Korean government's Academyinfo database, and additional data for University ranking and government's projects for University startups. Our analysis shows that Universities' fund amount for research and technology commercialization, Universities' amount of patents give a positive impact on Universities statistically significantly, while Universities' size or reputation does not. In addition, the amount of patents and startup projects funded by the government give a significantly positive impact on the annual sales of the professor startups. Furthermore, student startups are in a positive relationship with professor startups and their sales, showing a synergy effect between the two startup groups in Universities. The result implies that Universities and government need to focus on supporting patenting activities, providing technology commercialization funds, and collaboration activities between professors and students for their startup activities.

  • As digital infrastructure increases connections and convergence progress rapidly in all areas, and it is most important to ensure safety from cyber infringement or hacking to continue national growth. Accordingly, it examines the obstacles to cyber threat information sharing, which is the basis for responding to cyber infringement, and suggests ways to improve efficiency. First of all, information sharing is divided into three areas: the government, cyber security companies, small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals and the requirements are checked from their respective positions. We will supplement this and explore ways to strengthen cybersecurity and provide economic benefits to each other. Therefore, national and public organizations will propose policies to create an cybersecurity industry ecosystem with a virtuous cycle that leads to diversification of cyber threat information sources, strengthening cybersecurity for general companies and individuals, and creating demand for the cybersecurity industry. The results of the study are expected to help establish policies to strengthen national cybersecurity.

  • According to increasing necessaries of workflow systems, it will be useful to most Enterprises. However existing workflow systems are shared only inside of systems that use a same process definition. It is difficult to share a process definition with another enterprise using different platforms. In this paper, we used Web Service for sharing process definition. Web Service have advantage that can linked between different platforms. Therefore we developed workflow Process definition by using Web Service. Using Web Service, we can be share workflow process definition between enterprises using different platform.
