유성기어 감속기에서 전위계수가 기어 강도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Addendum Modification Coefficient on Gear Strength to Planetary Gear Reducer)

  • Industrial reducer is in general use to Deck Crane. High-precision and high-efficient reducer is minimized the power-loss and energy-loss of a machine. So it contribute the price reduction and life extension. Reducer is usually using the Planetary gear reducer. Planetary gear reducer is composed the sun gear, planet gear, internal gear and casing. Industrial reducer's wear and breakage have a short-life. To solve this problem, it is using the profile-shifted-gear or tooth modification. This study was carried out the effect of addendum modification coefficient on tooth fillet bending strength to planetary reducer. Tooth fillet bending stress is calculate. And all parameter were expressed the function of addendum modification coefficient. And then stress concentration factor of tooth fillet curve was express the function of addendum modification coefficient using comparison between theory and finite element analysis.

전동차 감속기용 헬리컬 기어의 강도평가 (Stress Analysis of Helical Gear for a Railway Reducer)

  • This study performs the bending and contact stress analyses for a pair of mating gears during rotation. The interested gears are used for a railway reducer. In general, the railway reducer needs high speed rotation, which leads to a large gear ratio. Thus, it is not easy to apply finite element method to investigate the strength performance, since the size of a gear is much larger than that of a pinion. In this study, the bending and contact stresses determined from FEM are compared with the values determined from the ISO code.

  • The power train of transmission for 21-ton grade wheel excavator makes use of a complex gear train composed of a planetary and helical gear system to drive the wheel excavator by transmitting power to the axle. The complex gear train with a shift mode is an important part of the transmission because of strength problems in an extreme environment. To calculate the specifications of the complex gear train and analyze the gear bending and compressive stresses of the complex gear train, this study analyzes gear bending and compressive stresses accurately for the optimal design of the complex gear train with respect to cost and reliability. In this article, the gear bending and compressive stresses of the complex gear train are calculated using the Lewes and Hertz equation. Evaluating the results with the data of the allowable bending and compressive stress from the stress and number of cycles curves of the gears verified the calculated specifications of the complex gear train. A computer structure analysis is performed with the 3D model of the planetary and helical gears to analyze the structure strength of the complex gear train. The results demonstrate that the durability and strength of the complex gear train are safe, because the safety factors of the bending and compressive stresses are more than 1.0.

궤도차량 변속기 구동용 베벨기어의 개선설계 (Design Improvement of the Driving Bevel Gear in Transmissions of a Tracked Vehicle)

  • Transmission of a tracked vehicle designed for multiple functions such as steering, gear-shifting, and braking is a core component of heavy vehicle to which the power is transferred based on combined technology of various gears, bearing, and fluid machineries. Robustness and durability of transmission, however, have been issued due to a large number of driving units and sub-components inside its body. The bevel gears are major components for the transmission of power in a transmission. Increasing the tooth surface roughness and chamfering of the bevel gears, especially, we aim to improve the quality of transmission. In this study, design structural evaluation is conducted on bevel gears of transmission for tracked vehicle using the ROMAX-DESIGNER program. By doing so, design safety of the bevel gears has been evaluated based on the gear strength theory of ANSI/AGMA 2003 B97 standard.

  • 본 연구에서는 동력전달용 인벌류우트 원통치차(스퍼어 및 헬리컬 기어)의 강 도 및 각종 영향인자를 충분히 고려하면서 크기를 최소로 하는 치차장치의 설계법을 개발하고, 이 설계법을 기본으로 하여 퍼스널 컴퓨터 상에서 누구나 손쉽게 설계에 이 용할 수 있는 설계 시스템을 개발하여 그 평가를 수행한다.

  • Wind energy is considered as the most competitive energy source in terms of power generation cost and efficiency. The power train of the pitch drive for a wind turbine uses a 3-stage complex planetary gear system in being developed locally. A gear train of the pitch drive consists of an electric or hydraulic motor and a planetary decelerator, which optimizes the pitch angle of the blade for wind generators in response to the change in wind speed. However, it is prone to many problems, such as excessive repair costs in case of failure. Complex planetary gears are very important parts of a pitch drive system because of strength problem. When gears are designed for the power train of a pitch drive, it is necessary to analyze the fatigue strength of gears. While calculating the specifications of the complex planetary gears along with the bending and compressive stresses of the gears, it is necessary to analyze the fatigue strength of gears to obtain an optimal design of the complex planetary gears in terms of cost and reliability. In this study, the specifications of planetary gears are calculated using a self-developed gear design program. The actual gear bending and compressive stresses of the planetary gear system were analyzed using the Lewes and Hertz equation. Additionally, the calculated specifications of the complex planetary gears were verified by evaluating the results from the Stress - No. of cycles curves of gears.

수·전동 휠체어 구동부 시스템 설계 (Design of Electric Automatic Manual Wheelchair Driving System)

  • 환자 및 노약자 이동에 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 수 전동휠체어의 핵심부인 구동부를 새롭게 설계했다. 구동부는 고속모터와 다단기어 치형을 설계적용하고, 굽힘강도와 면압강도를 고려해 큰 추진력을 얻을 수 있도록 성능을 검증하였다. B-Type의 마찰판식 클러치 전자식 브레이크(다판 방식의 무여자 작동형)를 동 축상에 설치해, 큰 토크에도 급격한 제동이 가능하도록 했다. 본 연구에 설계된 다단치차 감속기를 수 전동휠체어 구동장치에 사용하므로서, 소형화, 경량화를 이루고 구동 효율이 기존제품보다 30% 향상된 구동부를 구성할 수 있었으며, 보수 및 관리의 용이성을 함께 추구했다.
