Study of Online activities of NGOs and Donation Application (NGO 단체의 온라인 활동과 기부 앱에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes a simple, approachable game via mobile application in order to change the attitudes of the general public towards donation. This game can become one of many representative online activities of NGOs(Non Government Organization). Also, as it is a song game, the public can enjoy it rather than feeling pressure. This study is expected to energize the industry of donation applications and contribute to the settlement of a popular giving culture through NGOs, corporations, and SNS(Social Networking System).

  • 황성일 대표이사는 50년 전 부산에 터를 잡은 후 갖은 고생을 하다가 인쇄업을 접하게 됐고, 현재 부산지역 대표 인쇄사인 (주)동아인업을 운영하고 있다. 지난 7월 27일 부산사회복지공동모금회에 1억원을 기부하며 고액 기부자 모임인 부산 아너소사이어티 회원으로 가입해 화제가 됐다. 나눔의 삶을 실천하고 있는 황성일 대표이사와 서면인터뷰를 통해 기부에 대한 생각을 들어봤다.

  • 대한산업보건협회는 유방 건강에 대한 정보와 유방암에 대한 인식을 높이기 위해 마련된 핑크런 마라톤대회에 올해부터 동참하고 있다. 임직원들은 노사가 함께하는 사회공헌활동으로 기부문화의 정착을 위해 자발적으로 참여하고 있으며, 암진단을 받은 직원들이 치료에만 전념할 수 있도록 복지에도 앞장서 큰 의미를 더하고 있다.

Creative Destruction in the Culture of Charity is Needed in Asia (아시아 기부 문화에 필요한 창조적 파괴)

  • This paper discusses the reasons why a disparity in commitment to charitable giving exists between two regions : the East and the West. In explaining the regional difference, this paper particularly focuses on the social, economic, and political factors forming the trend?for instance, Asians' deep-rooted distrust in charity foundations and the lack of government policies incentivizing philanthropic giving in Asia. After analyzing why and how significantly Asia lags behind in charity compared to other parts of the globe, the paper proves that "creative destruction" is needed in the Asian philanthropy market. Additionally, this paper shows that it is an opportune time for an innovative start-up to introduce a new form of technology, an easy-to-access application with registered partnership foundations, thereby introducing creative destruction in the culture of charity in Asia. This paper finally examines the obstacles this start-up may face as it tries to grow into a monopoly and the socio-political implications it may bring to the world.

  • 과거 대비 국내 기부 문화의 성장 속도는 해가 거듭될수록 침체 되고 있다. 기부가 저조한 가장 큰 이유는 기부 단체에 대한 불신이다. 본 논문은 블록체인 기술을 이용한 이더리움 스마트 컨트랙트를 구현하여 거래의 투명성을 확보하고 기부에 대한 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있는 기부 시스템을 연구 및 설계하였다. 향후 이 시스템은 암호화폐의 사용이 활발해질 수록 보다 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

  • According to a statistical survey, despite the continuous improvement of the economic level, the participation rate of donations is decreasing. As a cause of this phenomenon, the problem of reliability of donation organizations is a big part. In order to increase viewers' intention to donate, this study developed a donation campaign linked data service that shows information that can increase the credibility of donation organizations and storytelling of donation recipients. Specifically, a user scenario of a data service that is properly operated in conjunction with a donation campaign that is broadcast shortly was defined, and a user interface was designed by reflecting the characteristics of the TV platform. In addition, a prototype based on the DVB-MHP standard was developed to analyze the effect of the data service utilization on viewers' intention to donate.

  • Giving behavior promotes social solidarity and lessens social deprivations by voluntary practices to make better communities. Despite the increasing trend of giving in terms of participation and amount in Korean society, the giving culture has deeply rooted in charitable emotion based on compassion, still far from social solidarity. This paper attempts to identify giving behavior by investigating its characteristics and changes in its motives from the compassion-based social welfare to social responsibility and community solidarity, centering around 'Yellow envelope campaign' started in 2014 to support the living expenses and cost of litigation for the fired workers of Ssangyong Motors. By employing questionnaire survey and in-depth interview, it analyzes the horizontal relationships, reciprocal responsibility, social capital, and pursuit for conflict solution. Even though the campaign didn't change our society as a whole, but it cast the social questions on the birth of social empathy and solidarity.

  • 최근 한인사회 내에는 이민역사상 최초로 두 개의 지역사회복지센터 건립이 추진되고 있다. 또한 미주 아름다운재단과 2세들이 중심이 되어 창립한 한미지역사회재단(Korean American Community Foundation)등을 중심으로 건전한 기부문화를 형성을 위한 노력이 활발히 진행되고 있으며, 조기교육센터와 청년학교, 지역사회클리닉 등 전문사회복지 및 권익옹호단체들이 속속 생겨나고 있다.
