A Study on Quality Improvement of Electrical Master Box for KUH (한국형 기동헬기 전원분배 제어장치의 품질 향상에 관한 연구)

  • The electrical power system of Korean Utility Helicopter(KUH) is designed as a dual control system to enhance the system safety of aircraft and each system is installed separately at left and right of the aircraft. The system is composed of 2 AC generators, 1 APU generator, 2 Transformer Rectifier Units(TRU), AC/DC Electrical Master Box(AC/DC EMB). The AC/DC EMB, consists of 2 AC EMB and 2 DC EMB, is essential equipment which supply and distribute electric power to the aviation electronics and electrical equipment of KUH. There were defects caused by internal short circuit in AC EMB during the first production phase of the KUH. This paper describes the analysis of the defects, troubleshooting process, root cause, and the solution by design change.

Design of Simulator for Missile Warning Radar of GVWS (지상 기동 무기 체계 탑재 미사일 경고 레이더 시뮬레이터 설계)

  • To analyze and verify the performance of a MWR(Missile Warning Radar) of a GVWS(Ground Vehicle Weapon System), there is a need to make a simulator which can conduct the linked and engaged test virtually using the simulated signals. In this paper, a method of the simulator design for MWR is proposed to solve the above need. The SP(Signal Processor) part which generates the simulated signals and analyzes the algorithms is explained. The RF(Radio Frequency) part which transforms IF(Intermediate Frequency) signals into RF signals, radiates RF signals, and controls the linked equipments is also explained. The utility of the proposed design is proved by presenting the results of the contributions to the development of MWR.

Prediction of Maneuverability and Efficiency for a Mobile Robot on Rough Terrain through the development of a Testbed for Analysis of Robot-terrain interaction (지형-로봇간의 상호작용 분석 장치의 개발을 통한 야지 주행 로봇의 기동성 및 효율성 예측)

  • This paper focuses on development of a testbed for analysis of robot-terrain interaction on rough terrain and also, through one wheel driving experiments using this testbed, prediction of maximum velocity and acceleration of UGV. Firstly, from the review regarding previous researches for terrain modeling, the main variables for measurement are determined. A testbed is developed to measure main variables related to robot-terrain interaction. Experiments are performed on three kinds of rough terrains (grass, gravel, and sand) and traction-slip curves are obtained using the data of the drawbar pull and slip ratio. Traction-slip curves are used to predict driving performance of UGV on rough terrain. Maximum velocity and acceleration of UGVs are predicted by the simple kinematics and dynamics model of two kinds of 4-wheel mobile robots. And also, driving efficiency of UGVs is predicted to reduce energy consumption while traversing rough terrains.

Factors Related to Fatigue in Cancer Patients Receiving Chemotherapy (항암 화학요법 환자의 피로 관련 요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of fatigue and its related factors in cancer patients during chemotherapy. Methods: The subjects of this study consisted of 90 patients over 20 years old who were receiving chemotherapy at the injection room of the o.p.d. and ward admission care unit in a University hospital located in Gwang-ju city and data were collected from August 8th to October 2nd, 2002. Collected data were analysed using SPSS v 10.0. to obtain summary statistics for the descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation, and multiple regression. Results: 1. Fatigue of the subjects was significantly correlated with physical distress score. and 6 items of subscale those were nausea, vomiting, anorexia, pain, and immobility, showed statistically significant correlation. 2. Fatigue of the subjects showed statistically significant differences according to a nap satisfaction. Fatigue of the subjects was significantly correlated with mood state, Also, all 5 items of subscale, which are those were anxiety, confusion, depression, energy, and anger showed statistically significant correlations. 3. Fatigue of the subjects showed statistically significant differences according to metastasis, chemotherapy cycle, post operation existence, post radiation therapy existence. There were significant negative correlation between fatigue and hematocrit and fatigue and weight change. There was no significant correlation between fatigue and spiritual well-being state. With the result to multiple regression, Immobility, Anorexia, Anger explained fatigue by, pain, and immobility showed statistically significant correlation.

저궤도 위성의 운용에 따른 휠 밸러스트 회로 영향성 분석

  • 저궤도 위성의 주요 부하는 대부분 잉여성을 지니게 설계되며, 위성 본체의 전압 및 전류의 변화에 대한 보호를 위해 밸러스트 회로가 추가적으로 요구 될 수 있다. 이중 휠은 위성의 기동에 사용되는 대용량 부하로 안정화를 위해 밸러스트회로의 설계가 추가적으로 필요하다. 이 논문에서는 이를 위해 위성의 운용상 발생할 수 있는 본체 전압의 Transition 조건 및 밸러스트회로의 모델링 분석을 진행하였으며, 모의실험을 위한 시뮬레이션 프로그램은 Matlab/silulink 및 PSIM을 이용하였다. 최종적으로 본체 전압의 변동 조건을 Inrush, Major/minor 및 Step/Frequency 부하 변동으로 나누었고, 2-port 모델링을 통해 밸러스트 회로의 구성 및 외란에 따른 영향성을 분석하고, 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증 하였다.

A Study on Development and Utilization of Automatic Parking Survey System (자동주차조사 시스템 개발 및 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Conventional parking survey has been usually performed by a person, which has a lot of problems such as decreased mobility, data input error, longer time and expensiveness. Therefore, this study attempted to develop an automatic parking survey method using lately commercialized equipments that were highly efficient imagery interpretation equipments, GPS, and infrared lighting fixtures. In addition, this study developed a parking analysis software that enables to modify and save data, and analyze survey data by the automatic parking survey method. When parking survey is conducted using automatic parking survey method, surveying accuracy is influenced by the running speed of a surveying vehicle, the photographing angle of an imagery interpretation equipment, the gap between parking vehicles and the distance of a surveying vehicle to parking vehicles. Therefore, this study drew optimum conditions by testing on each items for accuracy improvement, and developed a parking analysis software for systematic storage and management of parking survey data, supporting the parking analysis and output the parking analysis result.

Radial Type Satellite Attitude Controller Design using LMI Method and Robustness Analysis (LMI 방법을 이용한 방사형 인공위성 제어로직 설계 및 강건성 분석)

  • The $H_{\infty}$ control theory using LMI method is applied to design an attitude controller of radial type satellite that has strongly coupled channels due to the large product of inertia. It is observed that the cross-over frequency of open-loop with $H_{\infty}$ controller is lower than that of open-loop without controller, which is not typical phenomenon in an optimal control design result: it is interpreted that due to a large product of inertia, there is certain limit in increasing agility of satellite by just tuning weighting function. ${\mu}$-analysis is performed to verify the stability and performance robustness with the assumption of +/-5% MOI variation. ${\mu}$-analysis result shows that the variation of principal MOI degrades the stability and performance robustness more than the variation of POI does.

  • 최근 고속 회전기계에 사용되고 있는 공기호일 베어링은 동압형 기체 베어링으로 매우 안정적이고, 보통의 저널 베어링에서 발생할 수 있는 불안정한 진동을 최소화 할 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한 높은 안정성 및 축 자체에 자동 조절 기능을 가지고 있어서 극저온 기계 및 고속 회전기계에 널리 사용되고 있다. 이러한 고속 회전기계는 축의 기동 및 정지 시, 위험속도를 안전하게 통과하기 위해 위험속도에서의 진동을 억제하여야 하고, 운전 가능한 회전수를 증가시키기 위해서 로터 시스템의 동적 해석이 필요하다.(중략)
