This study was conducted to investigate the influence of shading treatment on the photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomatal conductance and its any correlations in Liriope platyphylla $W_{ANG}\;et\;T_{ANG}$. Followings were achieved as a conclusion. The net photosynthetic rate was increased as the PAR was increased and reached maximum at the $700-1000{\mu}mol/m^2/s$ of PAR in all of leaves, also this treatment caused a higher net photosynthetic rate in comparison with control. It shows the tendency of increasing stomatal conductance caused by the increment of PAR. The diurnal changes of photosynthesis, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance were increased as the PAR was increased in the morning, but they indicated a decreased tendency in broad day. The relationship between net photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance is well fit by the first regression linear equation. However, the values obtained from the linear equation have the different, respectively, and have highly significance. From the above results, net photosynthetic rate of shading treatment is higher than control in the same stomatal conductance. Different first regression linear equation were obtained between the transpiration rate and stomatal conductance, photosynthesis and stomatal conductance in during the control and shading treatment, too.
This study was conducted to investigate the influence of soil moisture on the photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomatal conductance, leaf water content and its any correlation in soybean. Followings were achieved as a conclusion. At the soil moisture was moved from drought condition to saturation condition, the photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomatal conductance and leaf water content were gradually increased on the period of re-watering treatment. The recovery of photosynthetic rate was faster than others. There were positive correlation with the photosynthetic rate and leaf water content, the stomatal conductance and leaf water content, the photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance respectively, but the correlation coefficient of photosynthetic rate and leaf water content was high.
Persisent circadian rhythms in carbon assimilation, stomatal conductance and soluble carbohydrate concentration were investigated during grain filling period in rice plant transferred from a natural photoperiod to constant conditions. A weak rhythm in photosynthesis, measured as carbon assimilation, and stomatal opening, as conductance to water vapor, with a period of approximately 24-hours, occurred under constant condition. Carbon assimilation and stomatal conductance reached maximum values near noon and minimum values near midnight during the early stage (until 72-hour) after transferring to constant condition, and then the amplitude and phase were changed slowly, the rhythms with little damping, reaching maximum values near midnight and minimum values near noon during 96~120-hours after transferring. However, photosynthesis in plants grown for 14days after anthesis under constant moderate light(day and night) did not oscillated in constant condition unlike plants grown under a cycle of light and darkness. These phenomenon was observed in soluble carbohydrate concentration in flag leaves as well. Evidences from several approaches indicate that endogenous rhythms of $CO_2$ assimilation, stomatal conductance and soluble carbohydrate concentration are closely couped with each other and particularly important to plants, which depend on the natural day-night cycle as a external signal.
This study was investigated to obtain basic information for the development of irrigation plans in upland cultivation of Wasabi. Changes of stomatal conductivity and photosynthetic rate of Wasabi, and of the soil water potential during withholding watering were analysed. The stomatal conductivity of Wasabi at $1000{\mu}Em^{-2}s^{-1}$ light intensity was $70mmolem^{-2}s^{-1}$, which was about 49% lower than that of Chinese cabbage, $138mmolem^{-2}s^{-1}$. The temporal changes of light intensity during the daytime did not influence the stomatal conductivity. The soil water potential that decreased stomatal conductivity in Wasabi was about - 50kPa at 10 AM, and about - 30kPa at 3 PM. The photosynthetic rate of Wasabi at$1000{\mu}Em^{-2}s^{-1}$ light intensity was $7.6mgdm^{-2}hr^{-1}$, which was about 50% lower than that of Chinese cabbage, $15.3mgdm^{-2}hr^{-1}$. The duration required for a stable photosynthetic rate was longer in Wasabi than in Chinese cabbage. The soil water potential that decreased photosynthetic rate in Wasabi was about - 50kPa at 10 AM, and about - 30kPa at 3 PM. The stomatal conductivity and photosynthetic rate showed significant positive correlation at various soil water potential. The results indicated that irrigation in wasabi could be done during the daytime when the soil water potential is above - 30kPa, which does not decrease stomatal conductivity and photosynthesis in Wasabi.

Conductive microcellular foams consisted of polystrene (PS) and polydopamine-coated carbon nanotube (PDA-CNT) were prepared via high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) polymerization and their morphology and electrical conductivity were investigated. CNT as a conductive nanofiller was modified to PDA-CNT by coating with hydrophilic PDA on the surface of CNT to increase aqueous phase dispersion and emulsion stability. It was possible to prepare the HIPEs having higher PDA-CNT content and the resultant foams having improved conductivity due to its good dispersion. The foams showed the morphology of interconnected cell structure. As PDA-CNT content increased, yield stress and storage modulus increased and cell size reduced. The PDA-CNT content showing electrical percolation threshold was ca. 0.58 wt% and the conductivity at PDA-CNT content of 5 wt% was increased to $10^{-3}S/m$.

This study was carried out in order to investigate the main traits related to photosynthesis by multiple regression analysis. The photosynthetic rate showed more significant increase in shaded leaves of plant than in non-shaded leaves of plant after shading treatment for 44 days. Negative correlation was found between net photosynthetic rate and SLA(specific leaf area). However, the values obtained from the linear equation were different and were highly significance. From the above results, net photosynthetic rate of shading treatment is higher than that of control in the same SLA. We also found that there were correlation between stomatal conductance and SPAD as well as net photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance. By the multiple regression analysis, SPAD value, SLA, stomatal conductance and leaf water potential showed a higher correlation coefficient of $r=0.848^{**}$. From the results, out of 4 factors(SPAD value, SLA, stomatal conductance, leaf water potential) stomatal conductance was main factor in the view points of partial regressing.
To investigate the influence of shading materials with growing stages in Panax Ginseng C. A. Meyer, the diurnal change of photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, transpiration and its any correlation were measured. The net photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance of ginseng were higher in the morning than in the broad day. The net photosynthetic rate was increased as the PAR (Photosynthetically Action Radiation) was increased and it was reached the maximum at the $200\;{\mu}mol/m^2/s$ of PAR in overall leaves. Transpiration rate was increased in the afternoon compared to in the morning. The transpiration rate was higher in rain shelter shading plate than in polyethylene net. A linear equation was obtained between net photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance in the morning. SPAD was higher in rain shelter shading plate than in polyethylene net through all growth stages. It may result from the decrease of growth progress. From investigating photosynthetic characteristics, we concluded that shading plate of rain shelter was more an efficient material to ginseng growth.
