A Study on Hotel Chef Subtropical Vegetable Purchase Intention and Word of Mouth (호텔 조리사들의 아열대 채소 구매의도 및 구전에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined the influence of perceived value, perceived quality, reasonable price of subtropical vegetables on trust, purchase intention and word of mouth among hotel chefs. For this investigation, a survey was carried out targeting hotel chefs in Korea with experience with subtropical vegetables. A total of 380 questionnaires were distributed to selected chefs over 20 days from October 1st to October 20th, 2014, of which 353 valid questionnaires were used after the exclusion of responses missing values or too much weighted tendency. A frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted with the use of the SPSS 18.0 package. The analysis results are as follows. First, perceived value, perceived quality and reasonable price had a positive influence on trust. Second, trust had a positive effect on purchase intention and word of mouth. Third, purchase intention positively influenced word of mouth.

The Effects of Input Additionality and Behavioural Additionality on the Output Additionality (투입부가성과 행동부가성이 산출부가성에 미치는 영향 : 연구개발특구 입주기업의 정부R&D보조금 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aims at investigating the effects of Government R&D subsidies. We analyse the effects of inputs and behavioral additionality on the output additionality. We also measure the moderate effects of the experiences of benefiting from government R&D on the relationship between inputs and behavioral additionality and the output additionality. We conducted a structured questionnaire on the companies who have participated in promotion program of the Korea Innovation Cluster. 126 responses were collected and alnalysed using the OLS technique. Empirical results show that the relationship between input/behavioral additionality (management, follow-up, cognitive capacity) and output additionality had positive effect. The moderating effects of experiences of R&D subsidy on the relationship between input additionality and output additionality and the relationship between cognitive additionality and the output additionality appear to be statistically significant.

The Impact of Family-Friendly Corporate Culture on Employees' Behavior (가족친화적 기업문화가 근로자의 행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effects of family-friendly corporate policies on employees' job satisfaction, quality of life, organizational commitment, and turnover intention. Data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire from medium sized manufacturing company during the summer of 2017 and received 295 useful responses. The data was analyzed using the multiple and simple regressions. The results showed that the effects of family-friendly corporate policies were significantly positive from the employee's perspective. The employees' awareness of the family-friendly policy was positively correlated with their job satisfaction, quality of life, and organizational commitment, but it was negatively associated with turnover intention. It should be noted that the boss' support at work showed the insignificant effect on the family friendly policy awareness and this result was very different from the previous study. The study concludes that companies as well as employees benefit from family-friendly policies. The study that in order to create a family-friendly corporate culture, the company should not only introduce the policy to employees but also provide the support and atmosphere for the employees to utilize the family-friendly policy easily, and to establish a companywide support policy, organizational practitioners should find the way family-friendly policies to be rooted in the organization.

Social Benefits of Improved Water Quality at the Taehwa River Based on Citizen's Willingness-to-Pay (시민지불의사에 기초한 태화강 수질개선의 사회적 편익)

  • This study evaluates citizen's willingness-to-pay for the benefits from improved water quality of the Taehwa river in Ulsan, Korea, using a contingent valuation method with double-bounded dichotomous choice. The estimation results of the bivariate probit model shows the amounts of willingness-to-pay are monthly 3,458.5 Korean Won per household and yearly 14,760 million Korean Won for total households in Ulsan, Korea. These estimates are equivalent to the social values of improved water quality of the Taehwa river. This study also tests the inter-dependence between two answers, which may occur in the responses of the questions for the double-bounded dichotomous choice, and all the null hypotheses on the inter-dependence are rejected in this study.

An Exploratory Study on the Use of Clickers in Preservice Chemistry Teacher Education (예비 화학교사 교육에서 클리커 활용에 대한 탐색적 연구)

  • In this study, clicker, also known as classroom response system, was applied to the chemistry method course at the university in Gyeongbuk, and preservice chemistry teachers' perceptions of clicker were surveyed. Before starting lecture, operation and class application of clickers were introduced to preservice teachers, and then 4-5 questions were presented to them in most classes during the term. After preservice teachers were asked to answer the questions, lecturer gave feedback based on the class answer distribution. Questions presented to preservice teachers were recall and/or understanding questions on learning contents, opinion questions, and questions about muddiest point. At the end of semester, preservice teachers were asked to rate their perception of clikers in terms of likert scale and essay type. They had positive perceptions of clicker use in aspects of cognitive effects, affective effects and media characteristics. They preferred conceptual understanding questions and monitoring questions among 8 clicker question types. Some cases using clickers in lecture and educational implications were also included.

The Effects of Perceived Innovation Attributes On Fashion Innovative Behavior (인지된 혁신속성이 패션혁신행동에 미치는 영향)

  • 기술적 혁신과는 달리 상징적 혁신(symbolic innovation)은 기존 제품에 부가된 사회적 의미가 변화함으로서 창조된다. 따라서, 상징적 혁신에서 새로운 사회적 의미와 관련된 속성은 기능적 속성만큼이나 중요하다. 본 연구는 상징적 혁신의 대표적인 의류제품을 이용, 패션혁신행동에 영향을 미치는 인지된 혁신속성(perceived innovation attributes)을 구별하고, 패션혁신행동의 두 유형(구매와 사용)에 미치는 이러한 속성의 영향을 고찰하였다. 대학생 집단을 표본으로 이용, 설문지 조사를 통해 수집된 515부의 응답지가 분석되었다. 인지된 혁신 속성은 유사성(compatibility), 기능적 상대적 잇점, 사회적 상대적 잇점, 인지된 위험으로 구분되었다. 의복흥미가 구매와 사용 두 측면의 패션혁신행동에 영향을 주었으나 인지된 혁신속성은 사용측면에만 영향을 주었다. 유사성과 기능적 상대적 잇점이 사용혁신행동에 긍정적 영향을, 인지된 위험이 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 혁신속성이 영향을 미치지 않은 반면 의류소비정도가 구매혁신에 영향을 주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 사용혁신성이 높은 소비자는 구매혁신성이 높은 소비자보다 혁신속성의 평가에 더 관여한다는 것을 시사한다.

Reconceptualization of Brand Equity : Empirical Evidence (브랜드자산 형성과정의 재정립)

  • 본 연구는 기존 브랜드자산의 구성개념과 구성개념들 간의 관계 연구들을 비판적으로 검토하여 첫째, 브랜드자산의 구성개념을 재정립하여 브랜드자산을 구성하는 세부적 구성요소를 제시하고 둘째, 브랜드자산 형성과정에서 세부적 구성 요소들 간의 인과적 관계를 제시하고 셋째, 세부적 구성요소를 측정하기 위한 척도를 제시하며 넷째, 전략적 브랜드자산 구축 즉, 브랜드자산이 기업의 핵심전략으로 한 단계 더 성숙하기 위해서는 기업측면에서 어떠한 요인이 중요한가를 확인하고 이에 대한 이론적·실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 브랜드자산이 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 기존 연구들과 같은 견해를 가지나, 기업성과로 연결되기 위한 브랜드자산의 구성개념과 형성과정에 있어서 기존 연구의 의문점을 제기하고, 그에 따라 연구가설과 연구모형을 설정하였다. 연구모형과 연구가설을 검증하기 위하여 스포츠브랜드와 컴퓨터브랜드의 2가지 카테고리를 대상으로 설문을 배포하여 311부를 회수하였으나 불성실하게 응답한 3부를 제외하고 308부를 실증분석에 이용하였다. 연구결과 브랜드의 지각된 품질, 리더십, 인지와 연상과 브랜드자산의 관계에서 존중, 차별성, 만족, 전환장벽, 애호도가 중요한 매개적 역할을 하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The impact of university students' openness to diversity on career decision level through mediating effect of learning agility (대학생의 학습민첩성을 매개로 다양성수용도가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine an influence of university students' openness to diversity on learning agility, career decision level and the mediating effect of learning agility. The survey questionnaire was distributed to 215 university students who are majoring in airline cabin service management and SPSS 23.0, AMOS 23.0 program was used for statistical analysis of the data. The results of this study are as follows: First, openness to diversity has a positive effect on learning agility. Second, learning agility has a positive effect on career decision level. Third, learning agility has a full mediating effect between openness to diversity and career decision level. These results show that the more students enhance their openness to diversity and learning agility, the more students enhance their career decision level.

Secondary School Science Teachers' Emotional Display Rules and Emotional Labor Types (중등 과학교사의 감정표현규칙과 감정노동 유형)

  • The purpose of the study is to explore secondary science teachers' emotional display rules, types of emotional labor, science-specific emotional display rules and the episodes of emotional labor. For this purpose, the survey to measure emotional labor of science teachers (The Emotional Labor of Science Teaching Scale: TELSTS) was developed and the participants were 145 secondary science teachers in Korea. Results showed that first, secondary science teachers recognized the emotional display rules defined by their schools, especially, positive display rules. Second, secondary science teachers showed that they were carrying out emotional labor in order to keep their emotional display rules in check. The mean value of responses to deep acting was high. Also, there were statistically significant differences in emotional labor depending on whether they were full-time or part-time teachers and their teaching career. Third, as a result of analyzing the specificity of science teachers, it was mainly related to the objective and logical image of science, and experimental instruction. Seventy-four percent (74%) of responses were negative or neutral emotional display rules. Finally, implications for science education are discussed.

Pre-service teachers' conceptions about considering the realistic contexts in the word problems (실생활 문장제에서 현실맥락 고려에 관한 예비교사들의 인식 분석)

  • We investigated whether and how pre-service teachers took the realistic contexts seriously in the course of solving word problems; additionally, we investigated how pre-service teachers evaluated students' realistic and non-realistic answers to word problems. Many pre-service teachers, similar to students, solved some of the realistic problems unrealistically without taking the realistic contexts seriously. Besides, they evaluated students' non-realistic answers higher than the realistic answers. Whether the pre-service teachers could solve problems realistically or not, they did not appreciate students' realistic considerations for the reasons that those were not fitted to the intentions of the word problems, or those were evidence of the flaws of the problem. Furthermore, the analysis of premises implied in the pre-service teachers' evaluation comments showed the implicit didactic contracts about realistic word problem solving that they accepted and also anticipated students to follow. Our analysis of the pre-service teachers' conceptions of realistic word problems can help teacher educators design the teacher program to challenge and revise pre-service teachers' folk pedagogy.
