  • 본 논문에서는 라즈베리파이와 가스센서, 파이카메라를 이용해 금연구역을 실시간으로 모니터링하고 관리자가 원할시 파이카메라를 통해 스트리밍 영상을 시청 및 저장하는 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템의 주요 특징 및 기여도는 다음과 같다. 첫째, RaspberryPi에 MQ-2(가스센서)를 부착해 복합적인 가스 값을 실시간 측정한다. 둘째, 측정된 세선 값을 기반으로 부저에 신호를 보내 일정 농도가 넘으면 부저가 울리고 스마트폰 App 알림이 울리게 한다. 셋째, 관리자가 원할시 스트리밍으로 현장 영상을 시청 및 저장한다. 제안된 시스템을 사용하여 공공장소에서 흡연으로 인한 불특정 다수에게 생기는 문제를 해결 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

국민건강 증진법령 시행지침3-금연구역과 흡연구역의 구분지정

  • 보건복지부가 마련한 국민건강증진법이 지난 9월 1일부터 본격적으로 시행되고 있다. 국민들의 건강에 대한 올바른 지식 함양과 자발적인 건강생활 실천을 유도함으로써 국민의 건강을 증진시키고자 제정된 국민건강증진법의 효과적 운용을 위해 보건복지부는 세부 집행지침을 마련했다. 이 지침은 광고 분야, 금연 및 절주를 위한 조치, 보건교육 실시 등에 대해 반드시 알아두어야 할 사항을 내용으로 하고 있다. 지침의 구체적 내용을 연재를 통해 알아보도록 한다.

청소년 흡연예방과 금연방법

  • 2002년, 성인들 사이에서 건강을 우려한 금연열풍이 거세다. 여러 가지 효과적인 금연법과 캠페인이 자주 소개되고 있으며 금연구역도 확대되고 있다. 그러나 아직도 우리나라 청소년들은 흡연에 있어서 안전하지 않다. 우리나라 청소년들의 흡연율은 남자 고등학생 기준 27.6%로 세계 최고 수준임은 이미 밝혀진바 있다(한국금연운동협의회, 2001) 또한 흡연 시작 연령이 점점 낮아지고 있으며 여학생의 흡연율이 급격히 늘고 있는 실정이다.(1991년 여고생 흡연율 2.4%, 2000년 10.7%, 한국금연운동협의회, 2001) 아직 우리나라에서 흡연 청소년을 위한 금연교육은 체계화되어 있지 않으며 학교에서 흡연사실이 발각되더라도 단순한 체벌이나 봉사활동 등으로 일회성에 끝나는 것이 대부분이다. 흔히 청소년 흡연자들은 흡연기간이 길지 않아 의지만 있으면 금연하기가 쉽다고 알고 있지만 상계백병원 청소년 금연클리닉의 조사에 따르면 청소년 흡연자 역시 성인과 비슷한 수준의 니코틴 의존도를 보이고 있다. 청소년 금연 역시 지금의 지도, 체벌 수준에 머물러서는 안 되며 성인과 마찬가지로 과학적, 심리적으로 접근해야 효과가 있다고 한다. 청소년의 달인 5월을 맞이하여 이달의 건강길라잡이에서는 청소년들을 위한 흡연 예방과 청소년의 금연방법에 대하여 알아보고자 한다.

Policy Compliance and Smoking related Behavior Change in a Smoke-free Apartment (금연 공동주택 주민들의 정책 순응도와 흡연 관련 행태 변화)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to identify the policy compliance according to the socio-demographic characteristics, stress, satisfaction of relationship, Health Belief Model and characteristics of smoking behaviors and knowledge related smoking of the residents living in the Smoke-free apartment and to investigate the change of the smoking related behavior before and after the implementation of the policy. Methods: The subjects of the survey were 293 residents aged 19 or older who reside in apartments six months after the designation of Smoke-free apartment located in Daejeon. All collected data were analyzed using T-test, ANOVA and Hierarchical multiple regression of SPSS for windows(ver 24.0) program. Results: The policy compliance was higher in women and those who lived for less than two years, and non-smokers were significantly higher. The policy compliance of the whole subjects was related to satisfaction with the surrounding relationship, perceived disability about smoking cessation, frequency of smoking and the amount of smoking. In addition, after the implementation of the gold research station designation policy, it had a positive impact on smoker's smoking behavior and resulted in reducing the frequency of secondhand smoke among residents. Conclusions: In order to increase the compliance of the non-smoking policy It is necessary to continuously expand the indoor smoking cessation zone policy, develop policies and supplement the health belief model components.

Understanding Male Adult's Awareness and Motivation of Non-smoking (금연에 관한 성인남성의 인식 및 금연동기 조사)

  • Cessation and re smoking is recursive and addictive behaviors. Understanding differences in awareness of smokers and nonsmokers is fundamental to devise smoking policies. Research is focused on male adult's choices of educators and motivation level by personal attributes and awareness. There was a difference in awareness of smoking policies between smokers and nonsmokers. Community health centers and physicians were preferred for antismoking educator but not different between smokers and nonsmokers. Motivational levels of cessation in pictures of lung cancer, dental therapy, cigarette taxation, smoking area restriction and social marketing were statistically significant. The results indicate that male adult smokers are Motivated to quit smoking by those five contributors[P=.000].

A Study on the Smoke and Secondhand Smoke status, Knowledge about Smoking, Attitude for Smoking behavior and Smoking Cessation Intention of Seafarers (한국 해기사의 흡연 및 간접흡연 실태와 흡연에 대한 지식, 태도 및 금연의도)

  • Because of space constraints of the ship, accessibility to supporting system for nonsmoking is poor in seafarers' group. This study was performed to find the smoking status, second-hand smoking status and factors related to smoking habit of Korean seafarers. So, we examined the rate of smoking and secondhand smoking, and knowledge about smoking, attitude for smoking behavior, smoking cessation intention and working environment related to smoking of 155 seafarers. Their smoking rate was 32.3% and secondhand smoke rate was very high by 86.5%. Their working place equipped a separate smoking room, but most of them had been smoked in where they were stayed. and we found the inadequate ventilation facility in 42.6%. Only 21.9% had a experience of education for smoking cessation. From the study Attitude for smoking behavior was negative and smoking knowledge was high. 90% of them tried to stop to smoke, but intention of smoking cessation was low. We need to motivate seafarers and increase their smoking cessation intention by regular education in available ways. From the study, we purpose that government will realign regulations related to ventilation facility and appointed smoking area on the board to prevent seondhand smoke, and the policy need to possess the regular survey of smoking status and customized smoking cessation education for seafarers.

  • Nowaday, prohibition of smoking is getting more important issue. So we designed "non-smoking area control system". This system is organized with AVR(ATmega8535), smoke sensor, comparator(LM339) and etc. In non-smoking condition sensor's output voltage is about 5V, and in smoking condition sensor's output voltage is under 5V. So we used comparator(LM339) to devide two conditions. In both conditions AVR(ATmega8535) transmits datas to the computer of administrator. At this time method of communication is RS-232.

Survey on Running Smoking , No - Smoking Area in Restaurants in Seoul (서울지역 음식점의 흡연 , 금연구역 설치현황 조사)

  • Running smoking, no-smoking area in restaurants(n=546) in 25 districts in Seoul area was surveyed and evaluated. No-smoking restaurants were evaluated as A(2.0 points). Restaurants running no-smoking area with guidance to the customers were evaluated as B(1.7 points), and those without guidance as C(1.4 points). In case of the distinction of smoking or no-smoking area are not clear, it was evaluated as D(1.1 points). Restaurants which are not running no-smoking area were scored E(0.8 points). Western style restaurants scored average of 1.55points, which was significantly higher than that of Korean, Chinese or Japanese style ones(average of 1.24~1.27 points). The highest mean score for restaurant 1.625 points in Songpa-gu(district).
