Development of Infant Learning System using on Zoo Model (동물원 모형을 이용한 유아 교육 시스템)

  • 본 논문은 동물원의 모형과 유아인형을 이용하여 유아에게 동물의 학습을 유도하는 시스템의 개발이다. 동물원의 우리에 유아의 인형을 근접시키면, 모형의 밑부분의 센서와 인형의 센서가 On 신호를 미들웨어 시스템에 전송하고 미들웨어 시스템은 PC에 동물우리의 번호를 전송함으로 동물우리에 있는 동물의 각종 학습 내용을 Display 장치를 통하여 학습할 수 있도록 하였다. 유아인형이 동물우리에 근접하였을 때 보내는 신호와 이동하였을 때의 신호을 각각 다르게 하여 학습도중에 유아의 인형이 다른곳으로 이동하게 되면 Display장치의 화면도 다른 화면을 보여줌으로 동물원에서 유아기 바라보는 시간을 최대한 유사하게 구성하였다. 또한 유아인현이 동물 우리에 근접하였을 경우 멀티미디어 효과를 통하여 동물의 울음소리 및 서식형태 등 기본적인 학습을 할 수 있도록 하였으며, 한글, 영어, 수셈 학습을 동시에 할 수 있도록 구성하였다.

등부표의 야간 시인성을 높이는 태양광 LED윤곽표시조명의 적용사례

  • 해상등부표는 선박 통항의 안전을 위해서 필요한 시설로, 낚시 배와 소형 어선을 포함한 선박의 항로표지에 중요한 역할을 한다. 그런데 야간에는 해상에 설치된 등부표의 위치나 번호판 식별이 어려워 소형 어선이나 선박이 등부표에 가까이 접근하여 등부표를 발견하지 못하는 경우 충돌하여 선박이 파손되거나 인명사고가 발생한다. 이 적용사례는 소형 어선이나 선박이 야간에도 등부표의 위치와 번호판을 손쉽게 식별할 수 있도록 등부표에 윤곽표시조명장치를 구비하여 충돌사고의 예방과 항로표지서비스를 향상시키는 목적을 갖고 개발을 추진하였다. 윤곽표시조명장치는 태양광전원을 이용하여 IP68 방수형 고효율 LED조명을 구비하여 멀리서도 식별이 가능하여 야간에도 신속하게 안전한 항로를 확보할 수 있게 되었으며, 근접센서 콘트롤러를 결합하여 선박이 등부표에 가까이 접근하면 LED조명이 점멸하며 깜빡이면서 충돌위험을 알리는 경보기능을 추가하여 등부표와 충돌사고를 예방할 수 있게 되어 항로표지서비스의 향상을 도모하게 되었다.

  • The Internet of Things era is approaching where all the things are equipped with smart sensors and communicate through internet. The three core technologies of the Internet of Things are 'detection technology' to get information from things and the environment, 'wired and wireless communications and network infrastructure skills' that support to connect things to the internet, and 'service interface technology' that processes the information appropriate to various services. Smart sensor application can expand to smartphone, smart cars, smart home systems, wearable electronic devices, telemedicine systems, and environmental monitoring systems, etc. In particular, technologies that mimic the five human senses. This study reviews the biological principles of the human senses and the principles of operation, research & development status, technology trends and market analysis of the sensors.

  • Automatic Transfer Crane is needed for automation of container terminal. It requires the control capability of exact position for loading/unloading job in yard. But it has the limitation of improvement because it has the operational environmental and its structural problems. It has the positioning errors caused by the deformation of rail, yawing motion of crane, wear of wheel, sliding motion between wheel and rail and so on. This study shows the calibration method of crane position by using the primitivity sensor and calibrating plate fixed on the ground.

Characteristic for the Near Field of Rectangle Loop Antenna using Optical Electric-Field Sensor (광전계 센서를 이용한 구형 Loop Antenna의 근접전계 특성)

  • In this paper, in order to investigate the near field distribution characteristic of the Loop Antenna we simulated and measured the near field of a Loop Antenna using optical electric-field sensor in a large Chamber(8.5 m x 7 m x 7 m). The simulation methods were used MoM for frequency domain and FDTD for time domain. From the analysis results, it can be seen that the simulation and measurement results are very aggregated, and the optical electric-field sensor is a certificate of validity. In frequency domain, in case of the optical sensor with vertical polarization is located above the near vertical line of the Loop Antenna the signal strength level is more 15 ㏈ than with horizontal polarization. But in case of the optical sensor located above horizontal line of the Loop Antenna, signal strength level is not different. And, in the time domain, although input signal is positive, in the case of the optical sensor with vertical polarization is located above horizontal line of the Loop Antenna, it can be seen that the received pulse shape is negative.

  • In this paper, I studied the "Establishment of Fault Tolerant System" as well as the sensor and cylinder that are general components being used in automation equipments. I design a system that when the sensor breaks down on free flow conveyor, it will be converted to virtual sensor system mode by simulation, also I design IPC(Internal Pressure Cylinder), a basis of various applicable fault tolerant system by analyzing the changing of analog data according to the load of operation. With IPC and the increasing ability of developer, the Fault Tolerant System will be widely applied in the increasment of service time of cylinder, grease pouring time expection, fault recognition of cylinder and etc.

  • Visual Reality technology is becoming more and more interesting as it attracts people's interest. VR technology is used in various markets such as games, animation, and education. However, there were many people experiencing motion sickness such as dizziness and headache due to the delay time between hardware such as a device for sending a video after experiencing a VR image and an HMD for reproducing an image. The system proposed in this paper focuses on the environment rather than the movement of the attraction and detects the dividing line existing on the path by the proximity sensor and accurately calculates the position on the path according to the user 's motion. Since the position of the user is synchronized with the VR image, the position error of the user is improved to 0.2%.

A Study On Cause Analysis and Improvement About Malfunction of Proximity Sensor Exposed High Temperature (근접센서의 고온 고장발생에 관한 원인분석 및 개선 연구)

  • Because internal space of combat vehicle reachs about $80^{\circ}C$ at high temperature period, Proximity Sensor exposed high temperature and humidity, which has function to sense the distance and transfer signal for control unit, have enlarged sensing distance and finally locked on. Malfunction of sensing itself occur frequently, therefore we carried out cause analysis and improvement. We accomplish improvement activity secondly. Through-out many trial and error, we find out that malfunction of sensor occur at high temperature circumstance. To improve, the another Emitter Coil is added to increase voltage difference and improve sensing accuracy about 5~10 times. And we accomplish design improvement to dull temperature and humity change after increasing molding surface to add vibration and shock resistance. We prove that the improved product do not fail after enduring 136hr at $85^{\circ}C$ temperature and 85% relative humidity circumstance chamber.

A Study of the Apply Proximity Sensor for Improved Reliability Axle Detection (열차 차축검지 신뢰성 향상을 위한 근접센서 방식 Axle Counter 적용 연구)

  • This In the railway signaling system, applications of axle counter in addition to track circuit goes on increasing for detecting train position. Consequently, this paper compares sensor methods of axle counter with between geo-magnetism method and proximity sensor method. And it presents differences and results, to improve reliabilities of train detection and axle counting. Also, this article presents an applied result which is based on field experience, with regard to installation, considering attachment condition of sensor part for accurate axle counting. This study acquires expandability that is able to perform not only axle counting function but also various other functions (direction detection of train, speed detection of train, and so on). It was a result of a change of design in order to judge phase difference of sensors, to improve reliability of axle counting. Furthermore, it does not subordinate to characteristics (type, weight of train). And it is confirmed that the omission of axle counting was not occurred in 350km/h. This was the result of Lab test after the construction of transfer equipment of trial axle and Test Bed for axle counting. Both of them are self-productions. Through this, it prepares foundation which is able to apply not only to train detection but also to speed of passing trains, formation number of trains, detector locking condition - when the train passes the section of switch point, and level crossing devices. Furthermore, it would be judged to contribute safety train operation if proximity sensor method applies to the whole railway signaling system from now on.
