Fuzzy Controller for Nonlinear Systems Using Pole Placement in a Specified Disk (지정된 디스크 영역 내 극 배치법을 이용한 비선형 시스템 제어를 위한 퍼지 제어기)

  • This paper addresses a fuzzy controller for nonlinear systems control using a pole placement in a specified disk. In the method, we linearize a nonlinear plant about nominal operating points and represent it using TS fuzzy model and formulate the controller rules. A feedback control law for a local model is determined using a pole placement in a specified disk(${\alpha}$:center ${\gamma}$:radius} region so that the closed loop system is stable. A nonlinear system can be controlled by combining fuzzy controller with a pole placement scheme which can be used to modify the transient response such as damping ratio and overshoot. A stability of overall fuzzy control system is guaranteed in the Lyapunov sense. Finally, it is shown that the proposed method is feasible through a computer simulation.

  • This paper deals with LQR controller design method tor system having complex poles. The proposed method is capable of systematically calculating weighting matrices based on the pole's moving-range and the relational equation between closed-loop pole(s) and weighting matrices. The method moves complex poles to complex poles or two distinct real poles. This will provide much-needed functionality to apply LQR controller. The example shows the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a speed controller using a microcomputer is implemented and applied to a DC Servo Motor. Adaptive control is applied to a system for which a priori knowledge to its mathematical model is insufficient, on the basis of input and output data an apropriate controller is constructed through which the system input is synthesized. The pole-placement PID self tuning control algorithms as a control algorithm is used to compare the performance of the controller with that of the classical PID controller through computer simulations and experiments.

  • LQG로 설계된 시스템이 LQR의 보증된 안정감도를 갖도록 $K_{f}$를 조정하는 한 LTR기법을 살펴보았다. q가 0이라면 필터는 실제의 프로세서 잡음의 Q = Q$_{0}$라는 점에서 최적이다. 그러나 q의 값이 증가함에 따라 $K_{f}$는 증가되고 x over ^에 따라서 시스템의 동특성은 관측에 의해 수정되는 항보다 상대적으로 소홀히 취급되어진다. 따라서 출력 y에 포함되어 지지않는 x의 추정치 xover^은 그 실제값과 차이가 많이 나타날 우려가 생긴다. 또한 관측잡음이 xover^에 크게 영향을 미치므로 잡음을 배척하는 필터의 성질도 모호해질 우려가 있다. 그러나 안정강도의 관점에서는 크게 개선되어진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 실제 설계에 있어서는 이 장점과 단점들을 잘 trade off시키는 단계가 필요할 것이다. 또한 추정치 xover^를 얻는데 정상상태의 칼만 필터를 이용하지 않고 극배치(Pole Placement)방법을 사용함도 고려할 수 있으며 이에 따른 LTR도 흥미있는 분야가 될 수 있을 것이다.다.

  • This paper deals with a pole placement indirect adaptive control algorithm for discrete-time linear plants with arbitrary zeros. The resulting closed-loop control system is shown to be globally stable subject to the assumptions that an external input is persistently exciting and a lower bound on the magnitude of the Sylvester resultant of the plant numerator and denominator polynomials is known. The problem of controllability of the plant estimate in indirect adaptive control is handled by using an extended parameter correction. The validity of the proposed control algorithm is assured through simulation for a second-order plant.

  • When the magnetic levitation system(MAGLEV) initially rise, The MAGLEV has a weak point that is very large variation of the electric current. In this paper, The author applied the multi-loop-control to stably control the magnetic levitation system(MAGLEV). The gains of the control algorithm were selected based on pole locations formulated from a prototype Bessel transfer function model. The design incorporate tradeoffs in DC-to-DC converter hard-ware para-meters and pole locations. In order to confirm the superiority of the proposed pole selection and controller, MATLAB simulation and experiment results are presented.

  • 본 논문은 원하는 슬라이딩모드의 고유값을 얻을 수 있도록 하고 슬라이딩 평면에 수렴하는 속도를 결정하는 이산시간 슬라이딩 모드 제어기를 설계하는 방법을 제시한다. 기존에 연속시간에서만 적용되어졌던 Ackermann의 공식을 이산시간에서 슬라이딩 평면과 선형제어기를 설계 하는데 사용함으로써 원하는 폐루프의 고유값을 얻을 수 있도륵 하였으며 비선형제어기가 선형 제어기로 설계됨으로써 채터링 현상을 줄이도록 하였다. 또한 슬라이딩 평면 근처에 밴드를 도입함으로써 공진의 여기를 최소화하면서 빠른 응답을 갖도록 하였다. 제안된 방법의 효율성을 보여주기 위해 Simulation과 실험결과를 보여줬다.

  • In Korean urban transit system, when the railcar starts, the electric power is absorbed from the line, and then the line voltage is instantaneously collapsed to provide a large accelerating torque. On the other hand, when the railcar brakes, the regenerative power is created and it increases the line voltage at the pantograph of the railcar. Therefor, by using the energy storage system near the train, the regenerated power can be saved to this system. The energy storage system is consisted of supercapacitor and a bidirectional DC-DC converter. In this paper, controller design of a bidirectional DC-DC converter based on pole-assignment is proposed. This method can be easy to design controller. Simulation results by using the calculated parameters are presented.

  • In this paper, the pole placement controller based on the Robust Internal-loop Compensator (RIC) structure, which has inherent structural equivalence to disturbance observer, is proposed to control a linear positioning system. This controller has the advantage to easily select controller gains by using pole placement without loss of that of original RIC structure. The principal is to construct the pole placement controller for a nominal internal model instead of unknown real plant. Using linear motion experiment showed the effectiveness of the proposed controller.

  • In extreme environment regions, unmanned rovers equipped with various sensors and devices are being developed for long-term exploration on behalf of humans. On the other hand, due to the harsh weather conditions and rough terrain, the rover camera has limited visible distance and field of view. Therefore, the rover cameras should be located for safe navigation and efficient terrain mapping. In this regard, to minimize the cost and time to manufacture the camera system on a rover, the simulation method using the rover design is presented to optimize the camera locations on the rover efficiently. In the simulation, a simulated terrain was taken from cameras with different locations and angles. The visible distance and overlapped extent of camera images, and terrain data accuracy calculated from the simulation were compared to determine the optimal locations of the rover's cameras. The simulated results will be used to manufacture a rover and camera system. In addition, self and system calibrations will be conducted to calculate the accurate position of the camera system on the rover.
