The stage is ceremonial and legendary space unlike the ordinary world. Performance is not simply scrip-staged, but spatial art based on tempo that transmits extreme condition. The stage art is a visual art combined with stage settings, lighting, customs and the like. I exemplify the stage of Middle Age and Renaissance in the history of the art of public performance and so I review that what meditative functions each stage perform and that as what pattern of media it can be conceptualized. In this thesis, I divide the places of public performance Into the spaces of proscenium and polygon and also set up the concepts of hot and cool that McLuhan presents for each space. So, the degree of participation could be different according to the distinction of quantity of information, which is communication following the patterns of spaces. The basis of public performance might be the communication between co-actors and audiences. Since the sense of the art of public performance is the art in the process of establishing the meaning based on the communication with co-actors, it is not a confirmed and fixed one, but rather a reflexive one that can be created and changed continuously. Therefore, audiences should be regarded as the subjects, who are making the art of public performance with co-actors.

본 연구는 우면산터널 시공에 따른 예술의 전당내의 오페라극장 구조물에 대한 영향을 검토하고 필요시에는 적절한 대책을 조기에 강구하기 위하여 3차원 유한요소해석을 실시하였다. 쌍굴터널 굴진시 지반거동의 영향범위내에 있는 오페라극장은 문화재급의 건축물로써 그 기초형식 또한 다양하다. 그러므로, 건물구조의 3차원적인 특성과 기초형태의 변화를 이상적으로 모델링하고, 3차원해석 결과에 따른 시공전 예측과 시공중 안정성확인을 평가할 수 있도록 검토하였다. 문제발생시 신속한 대처를 할 수 있고, 터널굴진시 정보화 시공이 적용될 수 있도록 관리기준치를 단계적으로 변화 설정하였다.

The scope of the study involves comparison of theaters in the west and those in the east, which experienced almost no exchange between them in the past, due to diverse restrains including a geographical one. The focus was put on the two types of these theaters whose similarities are meager historically and technologically, and whose link was not verified yet. However, similarities ,if any, will be identified among characteristics of these theaters so that the links such as liberalism, nomadic and participatory nature, non-linear space, ambivalence, mobile space-which are modern characteristics- could be connected from the past to the present, and those modern characteristics can be studied as a process where they could be sensed from the past structure or from each different target.

It happened many changes in our country on construction and culture with the economy and society, after the efflorescence. And it was provided the rapid growth in the theater space which is the center of culture with advance in economy and the society. The research which it analyzed these theaters of composition, form, function and size, and it shows that the theater space is developed with the influence of time. Also the research which it sees with start are to the plan and the plan of theater space and they provide they do with a fundamental data and to sleep. Advancement and change of theater space craving of the spectators it is sufficient and it gives, to make the opportunity the culture art will be able to develop. For the diversification of activation and a development of the theater space, it have to analysis details and go deep in to the study continuously.

21세기에 들어 입체영상에 대한 대중의 관심을 다시 집중시킨 곳은 극장이었다. 2009년을 기점으로, 입체영상에 대한 관심은 폭발적으로 증가했지만, 콘텐츠 부재 문제는 여전히 해결되지 못했다. 그러나 TV 방송 시장에서의 전망이 불투명한 반면, 입체영화는 할리우드를 중심으로 꾸준히 제작되고 있다. 또한 탄탄한 스토리텔링을 갖춘 영화들은 흥행에서도 괄목할만한 성적을 기록했는데, 이들의 공통점은 입체영상이 주는 공간감이 내러티브 몰입을 효과적으로 보조하고 있다는 점이다. 따라서 입체영상 기술은 극장을 중심으로 내러티브 몰입을 강화할 수 있는 시각기술로서 유용할 것으로 전망한다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 몰입과 입체영상의 관계를 살펴보고, 그에 대한 논의를 바탕으로 내러티브 몰입을 효과적으로 보조할 수 있는 입체영상의 공간연출 프로세스를 제안하였다.

This study examines the space composition and character of Elizabethan Theater base on the theory of drama and Shakespeares play in the english traditional theater. Contemporary multi purpose theater and public space is considered as a symbolic representation of the Elizabethan theaters organization and renaissance culture. In the historical theory, the Shakespeares theater was a common tool and best systeme in reflecting peoples lives. This role of theater as mass culture and new style of theater permanent design has get its value with the population increase and the urban centralization of the city and urban common sense. This study attempts to reevaluate the need of public space in modern society through a critical review of theater and its use as a open space design. Content analysis was used to discuss the topics of this study including the historical background of the theater, the relationship between Greek culture and modern design, and the role of scenery, auditorium and its impact on urban environment. The scope of the study is limited to the comparison of Elizabethan theater and space use program from the space critic and sociologist. Today the concept of theatrical space is altered with the advent of non-objects and multi media space. This study provides insights for the future implications of theatrical space in developing public space for its a new definition as cultural representation.

본 연구는 3D 상영관 내의 각 좌석의 공간적 특징에 따라 3D 효과가 어떻게 나타나는지를 시각피로도, 프레즌스, 인지된 특징을 통해 살펴보았다. 연구결과 극장 좌석의 위치가 스크린으로부터 떨어진 거리와 시야각이 시각피로도와 인지된 특성에 유의미한 영향이 있음을 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 좌석별 시각피로도와 스크린으로부터의 거리 평균지점으로 부터의 편차와 시야각은 정적 상관관계가 있었다는 점에서 3D 상영관에서 3D 품질을 보장하기 위한 좌석 배치에 유의해야 함을 알려준다. 둘째, 3D 상영관에서 좌석의 위치적 영향이 프레즌스에는 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 좌석별 인지된 특성과 스크린으로부터의 거리 평균지점으로 부터의 편차와 시야각은 부적 상관관계가 있었다는 점에서 3D 상영관의 모든 좌석에서 3D에 대한 인지된 특성이 다르다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구는 3D극장에서의 실증적인 연구를 통해 공간적 변인에 따른 3D효과를 검증했으며, 연구 결과는 3D극장 좌석의 표준을 제정하기 위한 기초자료로 삼을 수 있다. 또한 3D 영상의 성능지표 및 피로도 규제와 관련한 법 제정에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

본 논문은 극장이나 공연장에 설치된 CCTV 혹은 캠코더를 통해 입력받은 영상으로부터 패턴비교를 이용해 관객의 수를 카운팅하는 방법을 제안한다. 극장이나 공연장의 환경은 주로 어둡고 관객의 수가 많기 때문에 기존의 객체 검출에 의한 방법으로는 정확한 실시간 카운팅이 어렵다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 극장이나 공연장의 좌석이 고정되어 있다는 점을 이용해 각 좌석마다 관객이 존재하지 않는 기준영상을 획득한 후 카운팅 하고자 하는 입력 영상의 동일 좌석 영상과 패턴비교를 이용해 각 좌석에서 관객의 유무를 판단한다. 특히, 본 논문에서는 기존 방법들이 지닌 조명 변화이나 잡음에 민감한 문제를 해결하기 위해 상호 보완적인 성능을 보이는 두 가지 특징인 크기투영과 Walsh-Hadamard Kernel에 기반한 패턴비교 방법들을 효과적으로 결합함으로써 조명이나 잡음의 영향을 최소화하고 정확한 카운팅을 가능하게 한다. 제안된 방법은 실제 극장에서 획득한 영상에 대한 실험을 통해 정확한 시스템 성능을 검증하며, 제안된 방법을 주차장에서 빈 주차공간을 확인하는데 적용해 봄으로써 다른 분야로의 적용 가능성을 확인한다.

It has been happened many changes in our country on construction and culture with the economy and society, after the efflorescence. And it was provided the rapid growth in the theater space which is the center of culture with advance in economy and the society. The change of theater space with improvement of theaters gives a chance to develop arts of culture and crowds satisfied there demands. Accordingly this research is finding the origin of movie theaters and clarifies the change of space characteristics. Accordingly, movie theaters have been introduced and improved the age which is defined from modern to present. Moreover the cases are selected by Korean Film Council and Chronicle of Korean Architectural Culture. The characteristic of theater space is made an analysis by consist and form of space, and this research is let us know the theaters space has been changed and developed due to ages. Besides, this analysis research would he made theaters more active and culture spaces more improved in the future. The deepen research and analysis should be kept studying to make theater space improve and rev up.
