펨토셀은 저전력으로 단거리에 작동하는 옥내용 기지국으로서 짧은 거리로 인해 파워 손실이 적어 옥내 사용자들의 서비스 품질을 향상시키며 저렴한 비용으로 설치가 용이하므로 가정, 사무실, 아파트 등 옥내 사용자들의 서비스 품질을 향상시키는 해결책으로 주목 받고 있다 [1]-[4]. 하지만, 펨토셀로 인한 기존 셀구조의 변화는 여러가지 기술적인 문제들을 발생시킨다. 그 중 가장 중요한 문제가 간섭으로 인한 시스템 성능의 열화이다 [1]-[5]. 본고에서는 3GPP에서 진행 중인 표준화 동향을 바탕으로 펨토셀 환경에서 발생할 수 있는 간섭 시나리오와, 그에 대한 간섭 관리 기법에 대해서 살펴본다.

압출공정에서 발생하는 전달현상을 이해하기 위하여 싱글-스크류 압출기에서의 비 뉴톤성 유체의 비등온유동에 대한 수치해석을 위한 유한요서법(FEM)을 개발하였다. FEM 은 준-3차원 물리적 모델을 기본으로 하였고 온도분포해석을 위하여 전진방법을 도입하였 다. 본 연구에서 도입한 수치해석적 모델과 더 간단한 준-2차원 모델을 온도분포의 예측에 관하여 초점을 맞추어서 비교 하였다. 압출기의 내부채넬에서 순환유동이 온도분포에 미치 는 영향의 중요성이 강조되었다. 순환유동의 효과를 파악하기 위하여 유한 요소식에서 순환 과 관련된 대류항을 빼도록 유한요소 프로그램을 개조 하였고 개발된 원래의 프로그램과 개 조된 프로그램의 해석을 수행한후 해석결과 중에서 특히 온도분포에 있어서의 차이점을 비 교하였다. 이로부터 간단한 준-2차원 모델은 순환효과를 무시했기 때문에 속도분포의 예측 에서는 별문제가 없으나 온도분포의 예측에 있어서는 크게 잘못될 수 있음을 알수 있다.

Multi-hop system has advantage of low power consumption, improved cell capacity, and enlarged service coverage. Most of previous researches show that multi-hop relaying beyond dual-hop relaying does not improve system performance significantly. This leads most researches are focused on dual-hop relaying system. In this paper, we propose an optimal boundary condition to support maximal data rate for fluctuation of traffic load in single cell dual-hop relay system.

본 연구에서는 고체 추진기관의 침식연소 해석을 위한 비정상 일차원 내탄도 해석 모델을 개발하였다. 연소실 축방향 유동과 압력변화를 해석하기 위해 연속방정식과 운동량 보존식을 연립하여 수치해석 하였다. 기존에 검증된 고체 추진기관 무차원 내탄도 해석 프로그램과 해석 결과를 비교하여 개발한 해석 모델을 검증하였다. 그레인 직경 대 길이비가 큰 모터의 축방향 연소속도, 압력, 속도 변화를 고찰하였다.

PET는 합성섬유, 필름, 음료수병, 성형 플라스틱 등의 다양한 용도를 가지고 있으며 특히 섬유 원료부분에서는 전세계의 약 40%이상을 차지하고 있는 상업적 입장에서 아주 중요한 소재이다.［1］그러나, PET 제조공정은 긴 반응시간과 높은 반응온도, 대용량의 다단계 공정시설을 필요로 하는 대표적인 에너지 다소비 공정으로서 현대의 치열한 고분자 제품의 시장경쟁 상황에서 에너지 투입량 감축을 위한 공정의 해석 및 개발과 그로 인한 생산원가의 절감이 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 실제 공장에서 사용되는 단일 연속식 직접 에스테르화 반응기(CSTR Direct Esterification Reactor)를 모델링하고 Van Krevelen［2］의 Group contribution method로 계산된 올리고머의 열용량값을 이용하여 에너지 소모량을 계산하였다. 모델링 결과는 모두 실제 공장의 자료와 비교되었으며 가장 제어하기 쉬운 변수에 따른 반응물의 물성과 에너지 소모량을 분석하였다. 또한 압력이 일정한 조건 하에서 입력변화에 따른 반응기의 동적 모델링을 동시에 수행하였으며 투입에너지량과 반응기의 운전지표와의 관계를 분석하였다. 이러한 연구는 실제 공정분석과 최적화에 있어서 소모 에너지량을 고려한 보다 정확한 지표를 제시하고 에너지 사용의 효율성을 높이는 데 기여할 수 있다.

IETF Path Computation Element(PCE) 그룹에서는 데이터 전송을 위한 전달 경로를 찾는 엔진 기능을 중심으로 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 망의 상태, 위상, 자원 가용성, 정책을 기반으로 최적의 자원을 할당하는 경로 계산 기능과 구조, 프로토콜 등을 정의하는데 MPLS/GMPLS 망의 제어 평면 프로토콜 기반 전송을 위주로 출발하여 광, 회선 망에서의 적용과 서비스 표준이 실제 사례를 뒷받침하여 발전되었고 현재는 데이터 센터 네트워크, SDN, IoT 분야에서의 활용이 활발하게 논의되고 있다. 본고에서는 경로 계산 기능의 분산을 주요 목적으로 하여 이제는 범용의 전달망 관리 분야로 확대 적용되는 추세의 active stateful PCE와 Traffic Engineering Database (TED), Label Switched Path DB(LSP-DB), PCE Protocol(PCEP) 등을 포함한 관련 표준 현황을 살펴보고 향후 통합 전달망 제어 관리 진화 방향을 소개하고자 한다.

In this paper, under saturated traffic condition in a single-hop wireless sensor network, we present an analytic model that evaluates the performance of asynchronous MAC protocol which uses a preamble technique. Our model considers the impact of several important factors such as sleep cycle, the backoff mechanism and the number of contending nodes. After obtaining the cumulative backoff time of a sending node and expected delay of a receiving node, an iterative algorithm is presented for calculating the performance measures such as expected energy consumption usage per packet and latency. Simulation results show that the proposed analytic model can accurately estimate the performance measures under saturated traffic conditions.

The purpose of this study is to understand and explain the traditional housing-culture in South East Asia, focused on the traditional Malay houses. The research objectives are : 1) to obtain informations related to the traditional Malay houses in West Malaysia. 2) to survey the traditional Malay houses in the selected area. 3) to understand their characteristics. It is expected that the traditional Malay houses were a major focal point of traditional Malay village society. The Malay houses provided the basic needs of shelter to the villagers. They were designed and built by villagers themselves, thus, manifestation of the creative and aesthetic skills of the community. Further, these houses reflect those factors including climate, geographical features, history of the region.

This paper gives a Wireless lightning detecting and warning system. This system composed of transmitter and receiver. It promptly senses lightning strikes on the power lines and transmission towers by using the lightning current detection circuit in a small transmitter situated on the top of power tower, and it sends the number of lightning strikes and the ID. of the tower to patrols through the receivers. This system will be used to discover the exact location of a lightning strike.

Microlens arrays were fabricated using a modified LIGA process based on the exposure of a PMMA (Polymethylmethacrylate) sheet to deep x-rays and subsequent thermal treatment. A successful modeling and analyses for microlens formation were presented according to the experimental procedure. A nickel mold insert was fabricated by the nickel electroforming process on the PMMA microlens arrays fabricated by the modified LIGA process. For the replication of microlens arrays having various diameters with different foci on the same substrate, the hot embossing and the microinjection molding processes have been successfully utilized with the fabricated mold insert. Fabricated microlenses showed good surface roughness than the mold insert. The focal lengths of the injection molded microlenses were successfully measured experimentally and also estimated theoretically.
