Leveled Recommendation for Context-Aware Mobile Commerce (상황인식 모바일 커머스를 위한 단계별 권유 기법)

  • Recommender services are being used by an ever-increasing number of mobile commerce applications to help consumers find items to purchase with the use of the situated contexts. In this paper, we propose a new leveled recommendation for context-aware mobile commerce. This enables a consumer to obtain relevant information efficiently by using leveled recommendation, patterns and prefetching. This paper describes the method and application scenarios. Several experiments are performed and the results verify that the proposed method's recommendation performance is better than other existing methods.

  • In ubiquitous environments, recommendation service based on multiple contexts is required. The total amount of information is larger due to the greater number of contexts in multiple context environments. This paper proposes a new effective recommendation method adaptive to multiple contexts in ubiquitous environments. A new method of recommendations in multiple context environments is suggested that uses user's preferences and behavior as a weighting factor. This paper describes the recommendation method, scenario and the experimental results. The results verify that the proposed method's recommendation performance is better than other existing method.

Convergence Study on the Influence of Vaccination Encouragement and Perception of Influenza Preventability on Influenza Vaccination Practice Among University Students (인플루엔자 예방접종 권유와 예방 가능성 인식이 대학생의 예방접종 실천에 미치는 영향에 대한 융합연구)

  • This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting influenza vaccination practices among university students, specially influenza vaccination encouragement and perception of preventability. Questionnaires were distributed to 300 college students from April 30, 2018 to November 30, 2018 and of these, 239 answered the questionnaires were used for analysis. Over the past year, 36.8% of the students were vaccinated against influenza. Encouraging people to get vaccinated was a significant factor that affected the practice of influenza vaccination(p<.001). However, perception of preventability was not significant(p=.853). This study is expected to be an effective guide in developing influenza vaccination programs that encourage vaccination in order to increase the vaccination rate.

Proactive Mobile Commerce Service using Differentiated Recommendation in Context-Aware Environment (컨텍스트 인식 한경에서 차별화된 권유를 사용한 프호액티브 모바일 커머스 서비스)

  • According to the growth of wireless networks, and the spread of mobile devices, the provision of recommender services to help consumers find items to purchase with the use of the suited contexts is an important issue in mobile commerce. In this paper, we propose a proactive mobile commerce service that enables a consumer to obtain relevant information efficiently by using differentiated recommendation in context-aware environment. This paper describes the recommendation method and presents grocery shopping application prototype that implement the method. Several experiments are performed and the results verify that the proposed method's recommendation performance is better than other existing methods.

Relationship between Text Readability of Self-Guided Interpretive Signs and Attraction, Preferences, and Intention to Recommend Reading Signs to Others (자기안내식 해설판 글자의 가독성과 관심유도, 선호도 및 탐방객의 해설판 읽기 권유의도와의 관계)

  • Readability, an indicator measuring the easiness of reading letters, has been known an important element that determines the communicative effectiveness of the self-guided interpretive signs. However, there are few studies to find out how the readability of the signs influence visitor's attraction and reading behavior of interpretive signs. This study examined the relationship between readability of interpretive signs and attraction, preferences, and intent to recommend reading signs to others. Data were collected from August to November of 2003 at a self-guided trail of Naejangsan National Park, Korea. 350 out of 375 responses from subjects who participated in the questionnaire survey were usable. Results showed that readability of the signs is related with the attraction, preferences, and intention of recommending reading signs to others. The higher the readability of the signs were, the higher the attraction, preferences, and intention of recommending reading signs were. Attraction and preferences were also positively related with intention of recommending reading signs. Preferences better explained intention of recommending reading signs than readability and attraction. These findings suggest that enhancing readability of the signs may lead to higher participation in reading them.

  • The study aims to examine the determinants that affect satisfaction, revisit intention, and recommendation intention with foreign tourists who visited Korea despite the threat of COVID-19. This study employs the survey data collected by the Korea Tourism Organization from 8,135 foreign tourists who visited Korea in 2020. As the survey data contains a mixture of continuous and categorical variables, decision tree analysis can ensure analytical validity for the research. According to the analytical results, the determinants affecting satisfaction are the purpose of the visit and acceptance of self-quarantine during their stay. The factors influencing revisit intention are the purpose of the visit, frequency of the visit, and acceptance of self-quarantine during their stay. The determinants affecting recommendation intention are the purpose of the visit, length of stay, and gender. Based on the results of this analysis, this study not only explains the relationship between these determinants and tourism satisfaction, revisit intention, and recommendation intention, but also suggests implications for revitalizing tourism activities.

A Study on the Types of Work Values of the Dental Hygiene Students (일부 치위생과 학생들의 직업가치관)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the job value type of dental hygiene students. The questionaire given to 823 dental hygiene students from three college in Gwangju and Chunnam Colleges. The results of this study were as follows: 1. dental hygiene students, job value type were divided 6 categories: Competency, Contribution, Achievement, Reward, status, stability. 2. The higher status was at c college and at good relationship group and more perceived bad health and at work experience group. 3. The higher was reward at c college and lower grade and at good relationship group and more perceived good health and at work experience group. 4. The higher was status at c college and lower grade and lower age and at work experience group. 5. The higher was competency at c college and at good relationship group and more perceived bad health and .at work experience group. 6. The higher was contribution lower grade and more perceived bad health and at work experience group. 7. The higher was achievement at c college and at good relationship group and more perceived good health group.
