While watching the movie, the audience halts between ideas whether to go back to "primary ego", or to play the unconscious hypocrisy or the ingrained social behavior which is to resolve the internal conflicts while they face two contrary opinions; one is the obedient subject to obey fatherness, as a symbol of historic value and convention in a society, and the other is the resistant body to break the bond of convention. • This paper analyzes the views of Gyeongjae O Chiik on Classical Studies. O is the second son of Noju O Heesang (1763-1833). The characteristics of his views are as follows. First, unlike his father, Gyeongjae is more interested in Chinese Textual Criticism than in Hsing-li hsüeh. Therefore, he provides textual interpretation in detail with erudition in his Manrok and Munjip on the formation and problems for such classics as The Four Classics, The Classic of Poetry, The Book of Changes, The Rites of Zhou, The Book of Rites, and The Spring and Autumn Annals. Second, his openness. He didn't canonize The Book of Changes. Also, he thought that the analysis of Jeongja in his Annotation on the Book of Changes and Zhuxi's Original Interpretations, the absolute authority of the time, were not the only interpretation possible. He argued that other interpretation is possible depending on perspectives and it is desirable. We can see that Gyeongjae had transcended the world view of Zhuxi Studies. Third. he put the emphasis on the theories during the Han dynasty. He showed the inclination toward the Yuheung theories rather than Zhuxi theories in regard of the discussion of names in The Analects of Confucius. Fourth, unlike other Confucius scholars in Chosun, he showed interests in Gongyangjeon and Gokryangjeon. He compiled Gonggokmunseon with beautiful writings from both works. Fifth, he was interested in the dynamics of constant numbers. He grasped that what is important in the Book of Changes is not right principles but constant numbers and points. Thus he compiled Sangjeomyuhoe. Besides, he was also interested in the Rites of Zhou.

  • In order to identify the factors and problems in which military sexual violence is a continuous and repeated blind spot, this study conducted a content analysis focusing on articles of military sexual violence incidents covered in Internet news from January 2010 to June 15, 2021. carried out. As a result of the study, structurally unequal power relations, authoritarian and closed military organizational culture, internal military response system that is distrustful of passive responses to sexual violence, and enveloping family-friendly investigations and tolerant punishment of perpetrators are blind spots despite the Ministry of National Defense's efforts to improve. factors that exist. Underlying this, the compensatory spirit caused by the conscription system and the negative effects of the patriarchal system are embodied in the national sentiment, suggesting that the sense of crisis of division and an overly permissive attitude toward the military act as a factor that slows change. As an improvement plan according to the results, it is necessary to entail the establishment of a civilian-centered judicial institution, strong punishment of perpetrators, and limited pension payment, as well as honorable punishment such as 'class demotion' in the military culture with a clear hierarchical relationship. Taken together, we can see that most military sexual violence is caused by a hierarchy, and it strongly suggests that the main cause of sexual violence is unequal power relations.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the interactive patterns between teacher and students in middle school earthh science classroom, identify difference of discourse types between earthh science classes taught by majored and non-majored teacher, find the relationship between the discourse pattern and the type of teachers' questions. For that purpose, the participants in this study included four teachers and their students of three middle schools in Seoul. The data consisted of two parts. First, we categorized interaction between teacher and students into the types of discourses by the use of Mortimer and Scott's analytical framework(2003). Second, we classified teachers' questions into four different types of question based on MNeill & Pimentel's classification scheme(2009) to examine for the relationship between the discourse pattern and the type of teachers' questions. As a result, all teachers used interactive/authoritative discourse most in middle school earth science class. Therefore, there was more authoritative discourse to non-majored teacher in comparison with majored teacher. And study demonstrated that the discourse pattern was more related to feedback about student's response rather than the type of teachers' question. In other words, the dialogic discourse showed up more frequently when the teacher used delayed feedback with positive and accepting attitude.
