본 논문에서는 21세기 신성장 동력산업으로 세계적인 관심을 받고 있는 의료관광에 대해서 살펴보고자 한다. 의료와 관광이 협조적인 구도하에서 시너지 효과를 가져오게 되는 의료관광은 2009년을 원년으로 도약하기 시작하여 2012년 현재 괄목한 성장을 보이며 성장하고 있다. 본고에서는 성장하는 의료관광시장을 조망해보고 향후 지속적인 발전과 글로벌 한국의료의 성장을 위해 발전적 제언을 하고자 한다. 이를 위해서한국의 5대 대형병원의 의료관광객 유치에 대해 살펴보고 이를 근거로 의료비의 투명한 관리와 적극적인 서비스를 위한 홈페이지 구축, 의료업계와 관광업계의 협력구도제안 및 의료커뮤니케이션의 활성화를 제안한다. 즉 질병위주의 치유목적적 의료관광객의 정확한 의사소통을 위한 전문의료 통역사의 양성과 의료관광의 원할한 진행과 서비스를 위한 국제의료코디네이터양성의 이중 채널 커뮤니케이션이 필요하다. 또한 의료계에 비해 상대적으로 열악한 관광업계의 인프라 구축을 위한 창의적인 노력이 필요함을 지적하였다.

Purpose: This study proposes preventive strategies for factors affecting the work impairment of international medical tourism coordinators. Methods: Data for this study were collected via an online questionnaire survey involving 296 international medical tourism coordinators in South Korea, considering the impact coronavirus disease 2019. The survey was conducted from 25th April 2022 to 22nd July 2022 and data were analyzed SPSS/WINdows software version 22, including statistical, reliability, factor and regression analyses. Results: This study focused on occupational stress, health problems and job efficacy among international medical tourism coordinators in medical tourism research. The main objective was to examine the factors that influenced their work impairment. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the importance of factors such as occupational stress, health problems and job efficacy in influencing work impairment among international medical tourism coordinators. The identified factors account for 30% of explanation power. An intervention program tailored to the characteristics of domestic and international medical tourism coordinators is recommended.

This research seeks opinions and development plan in forceful measures of qualifying examinations analyzing awareness of people in charge of medical tour about the qualifying examination system of international medical tour coordinator. The result of research shows the relatively positive awareness towards the qualifying examination and its system of international medical tour coordinator. Regarding the examination subjects, score about the necessity of subject where medical professionalism is considered marked high(4.01). About whether they would take the test or not, there was careful difference in the awareness of examination system(0.019) and operation method(0.004.). For the qualifying examination to be settled and thus to reinforce the professionalism, it is considered essential to have improvement in the problems of treatment towards acquisitors of certificate and awareness of field regarding the certificate, and review of supplementary subject aimed at the reinforcement of medical professionalism in terms of examination subjects.

본 연구는 의료경영계열 대학생의 직업가치와 직업선택의도에 대해 알아보기 위하여 자가 보고식 설문 조사법을 이용한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 본 연구는 부산광역시에 소재하고 있는 4년제 대학교 3곳의 의료경영계열 대학생을 대상으로 조사하였다. 총 139부의 유효설문지를 통계분석 자료로 이용하였고, 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS statistics version 25.0 for windows를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 직업가치가 병원 원무·행정직으로의 직업선택에 있어 사회헌신과 안정추구가 유의하게 나타났고, 직업가치가 의무기록사로의 직업선택에 있어 사회헌신과 안정추구가 유의하게 나타났다. 직업가치가 국제의료관광코디네이터로의 직업선택에 있어 인간관계중심과 체면유지, 안정추구가 유의하게 나타났다. 직업가치가 보건교육사로의 직업선택에 있어 사회헌신만 유의하게 나타났다. 일반적 특성에 따른 직업가치를 비교한 결과, 성별의 경우 지식추구와 사회헌신에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학년의 경우 사회헌신, 안정추구에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종교 유·무의 경우 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 경제적 수준의 경우 경제우선만이 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 의료경영계열 대학생을 대상으로 한 직업가치에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지지 않았기 때문에 본 연구를 통해서 전문 의료경영인으로서 직업사회로의 첫발을 내딛기 위해 준비하는 의료경영계열 대학생들이 직업가치 인식의 필요성을 인식하고 직업선택에 있어 좀 더 나은 방향으로 갈 수 있도록 기초자료를 제시하고자 한다.
