Metadata registry (MDR) is the international standard, developed by ISO/IEC for exchange and sharing data between databases. Many MDR systems are used in diverse domains such as medical service, bibliography, environment for sharing and integrating data. However, those systems have different physical structures individually because the MDR standard defines only the metamodel for registering and storing metadata. It causes heterogeneity between the system structures and requires additional cost to maintain interoperability. ISO/IEC 13249-8 Metadata Registry Access (MRA) is developing as an international standard to provide a consistent access facility to data stored in different metadata registries. However, MRA does not consider the relationships between the concepts (classes) defined in the MDR specification. It causes that incorrect query results returned from MDR systems. It also requires additional cost of modeling and rewriting queries to reflect each physical model. Therefore, this paper suggests eMRA which considers the relationships between the concepts in MDR. The comparative evaluations are described to show the advantages of eMRA. eMRA has superior performance in query modeling and referential integrity than MRA defined by the relationship between the concept of MDR.

This study is was conducted for 37 first-year students (including 27 males and 10 females) enrolled in the engineering product design class opened as a regular class in the second semester of 2018 at 'A' University in Seoul to examine creative problem solving experiences in class using design_thinking. In this study, creative problem-solving ability was divided into creative personality and problem-solving ability and in the results of examining the difference in pre- and post-creative problem solving abilities through Hotelling's T-square test and t-test, among the creative personality, the tolerance & passion, humor, curiosity, and progressive attitude were found to significantly increase after class. Next, in the results of examining the process of creative problem solving through the reflection journal, in the empathy and prototyping and testing stages of design thinking, more activities for problem solving appeared, and at the stage of problem definition and idea generation, it can be seen that more activities expressing creative personality appear. The results of this study show that creative problem-solving abilities can be improved through design thinking, suggesting that instructional support for effective design thinking should be designed.

This study was conducted to find out whether excellent and non-excellent players could be distinguished by the achievement goal orientation(task-orientation, ego-orientation) test and the self-management(physical, interpersonal, training, mental management) test targeting youth soccer players. The subject of this study were 299 players(144 middle school students, 155 high school students) including 131 representative players by age and 168 general players who registered with the Korea Football Association. The questionnaires for data collection include the Task & Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire(TEOSQ) developed by Duda and Nicholls(1989) and the athlete self-management questionnaire(ASMQ) developed by Heo Jeong-hoon(2003) was used. For data analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and discriminant analysis were performed using SPSS 23 version. As a result of analyzing the data, task orientation and ego orientation, which are sub-factors of achievement goal orientation, were both confirmed as tests that did not discriminate between excellent and non-excellent players. On the other hand, the self-management test was confirmed as a test that can discriminate between excellent and non-excellent players in body management, training management, and mental management excluding interpersonal management among the sub-factors of self-managemnet. In particular, among self-management, mental management was identified as the most important factor in discriminating between excellent and non-excellent athletes.

Deep-sea fisheries in Korea play an essential role in supplying popular seafood and providing food security. Countries, as well as the IMO (International Maritime Organization), have attempted to establish an internationally harmonized safety standard for fishing vessels. However, starting with the adoption of 'The Torremolinos International Convention for the Safety of Fishing Vessel 1977', the '2012 Cape Town Agreement' was adopted, but the requirements for enforcement were not met. However, with the 2019 Torremolinos Declaration, the effect of the agreement became visible. Korea is also about to ratify the agreement, and deep-sea fishing vessels are subject to the agreement. The length of the hull or the gross tonnage can be selected as the criteria for applying the 2012 Cape Town Agreement, and this is also partially applied to the existing vessels. Analyzing 188 deep-sea fishing vessels registered as members of the Korea Overseas Fisheries Association to confirm the effect on the existing vessels showed that the application of gross tonnage had little impact on the ratification of the agreement. In addition, laws must be revised for the compulsorization of GMDSS facilities such as two-way VHF and radar transponders and for the safety familiarization of fishermen. In the industry, the facilities required by the agreement must be provided, and the fishermen must be familiarized with safety.
To raise awareness of carbon reduction in climate change, the Korea Forest Service has developed and adopted a forest carbon offset program, which aims to reduce carbon levels based on forest management. However, to maintain the forest carbon offset program, challenges such as the lack of a forest monitoring system to manage and maintain the program, must be faced. In this context, we investigated the limitations of conducting forest carbon offset programs using a number of interview techniques, including in-depth interview and questionnaire survey methods. The questionnaire surveys were developed based on the results of a literature review along with a preinterview and in-depth survey of the people in charge of the forest carbon offset program. The Irving Seidman technique was adopted for the in-depth interviews. Additionally, descriptive and frequency analyses were conducted to identify the characteristics of perception. Lastly, logistic regression was used to identify the limiting factors that affect the willingness to perform forest carbon offset monitoring activity. Results showed that the project managers or people in charge of the forest carbon offset program lacked expertise in forest carbon offset programs, which negatively affected their willingness to perform monitoring activity. Additionally, the study revealed a number of limiting factors that hindered the monitoring of forest carbon offset projects. Improving understanding using the approaches presented in this study may contribute to increasing the benefits associated with the forest carbon offset program in South Korea.

In modern society, there is a tendency to emphasize efficiency and lead to detailed planning of team projects and individual tasks within organizations. In a 24-hour routine, the ability to use time effectively is considered an indicator of conscientiousness, and people try to imitate planned and organized people and utilize various systems to manage their daily lives. The reason why you want to perform a given task efficiently is because it affects the success or failure of the project by completing the task within a set period of time. Neglecting the project schedule is considered a major risk that threatens a successful outcome. This applies not only to large-scale organizational projects but also to individual life, and utilizes a variety of schedule management tools that emphasize time-based efficient management. In project management, it is necessary to carefully understand the detailed work progress rather than simply based on Today. In this paper, we propose an Android application that can manage schedules by accessing the user's project in units of tasks rather than dates, and introduce its implementation. The application we implemented in this paper can manage the project's goals and schedule by registering the project to which the user belongs. In addition, it provides the ability to approach work efficiently by visualizing the progress of the entire project or individual goals. As a result, users can use the application we propose in this paper to focus on their projects and manage schedules by task, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the project.

In this paper, we investigated the number of domestic patent applications by year, the number of domestic patent disclosures by year, and the number of domestic registrations by year regarding smart factories. The number of patent applications by applicant type was investigated. Based on the patents studied, it was found that the IPC appearing in the most patents was G05B 19/418. In addition, through social network analysis of smart factory patented IPCs, it was found that G05B 19/418 was the IPC with the highest degree of centrality. From the above, if the IPC of the core technology of the patent submitted for smart factory is G05B 19/418, the technology combined with G05B 23/02, that is, the technology combining "factory control" and "monitoring" is the most patented. When the IPC of the core technology was G06Q 50/04, it was confirmed that the technology combined with G06Q 50/10, that is, the technology combining "manufacturing" and "service" was the most applied for patents. Through this, it was found that in order to apply for a patent for a smart factory, it would be necessary to file a patent application that takes into account the connectivity between IPCs.

Currently, in Korea, there is a growing interest in improving the learning ability of the education target group due to the low birth rate and aging population. The dilemma of a shrinking population ultimately causes the burden of having to come up with a plan to efficiently maximize the use of available population resources. Accordingly, this study explores the impact of learning motivation (activity-oriented motivation, learning-oriented motivation) on learner characteristics (learning value, learning efficacy) and learning satisfaction, and as a result, intention to continue participating in lifelong learning (recommendation intention, relationship continuation intention). As a results of the analysis, it shows that learning motivation had a significant effect on learning satisfaction, and the emotions formed in this way had a positive effect on recommendation intention and relationship continuation intention. In addition, the results show that learning-oriented motivation had a significant effect on both learning satisfaction and learner characteristics, but that learning efficacy had no effect on recommendation intention. This study is significant in that it presents the basis for an educational system based on relationship maintenance and learner characteristics by considering the learner's orientation, individual achievement direction, recommendation intention, and relationship continuation intention.
Steroids have a temporary skin improvement and whitening effect by controlling vasodilation, but they also cause side effects when used for a long time. Therefore, steroids were designated and managed as raw materials that cannot be used in cosmetics in Korea. However, steroids are continuously being detected in cosmetics, causing social issues. In this study, we developed a certified reference material (CRM) for the determination of steroids such as hydrocortisone in cosmetics. A cream-type cosmetic CRM was manufactured and subsequently certified following the guidelines outlined in ISO Guide 35. Homogeneity, short-term stability, and long-term stability were evaluated using isotope dilution mass spectrometry (ID-MS). The certified values were determined by using NIST's primary reference material to ensure traceability. From now on, we intend to supply the certified reference material as a cosmetic CRM to national and international companies, as well as research institutes after certification as certified reference material from KOLAS and registering on COMAR.
During more than 20 years of practice, Civil Aviation Law has experienced three times of amendments since it was enacted in 1995. But these revisions are limited to the technical level. The problems and limitations have become increasingly prominent in its implementation. Firstly, the civil aviation law is the result of interests game among several departments and some legal issues was left behind and the regulation was very vague as a result. Secondly, the process of aviation legislation is the process that the country has undergone profound changes and social transformation. The 20 years is long enough for the society to undergo tremendous changes and 1995 version of civil aviation law does not keep pace of development of economy. There was a serious lag between reality and the law. In order to actively promote the development of the aviation industry and overcome implementation issues of the Civil Aviation Law, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) initiated modification procedure the law and published new draft of Civil Aviation Law in August 2016. The spirit of this modification is to learn and absorb new achievements of domestic and foreign legislation and the International Convention on civil aviation. Furthermore, the purpose of the revision is to provide favorable policy for the development of civil aviation industry and improve aviation safety and supervision, strengthen and protection of consumer rights and interests, to enhance the safety of civil aviation activities, and promote the development of general aviation. This revision concerned to the 78 articles which are revised or deleted and 24 articles added. The highlights of the draft include but not limited to the enhancement of security management, clarification of the main responsibility for production safety. And also it added the provisions related to the construction of effective tracking capability of public air transport enterprises and license system on the transport of dangerous goods. Compared with the existing civil aviation law, the draft has made a great improvements. But there are several deficiencies and limitations in the drafts. These problems need to be supplemented and perfected through further amendments in near future.
