An adaptive controller with fuzzy compensator for nonlinear time-varying systems (비선형 시변 시스템을 위한 퍼지 보상기를 가진 적응 제어기)

  • 본 논문에서는 비선형 시변 시스템을 제어할 경우 제어시스템의 안정성을 보장하고 성능을 향상시키기 위한 새로운 적응제어 구조를 전개하였다. 주어진 플랜트가 선형 시불변이라는 가정하에 표준 기준 모델 적응제어기가 적용될 경우 발생되는 출력오차는 플랜트의 비선형 시변특성으로 인하여 점근적으로 0에 수렴되지 않는다. 이때 미지의 출력오차를 점근적으로 0에 수렴시키는 방법으로 퍼지보상기를 사용하였으며 결과적으로 플랜트의 비선형 시변 특성을 보상하는 효과를 얻을 수 있었다. 퍼지 보상기로는 출력오차등의 조건에 따라 이득이 변하는 퍼지 PID 보상기를 도입하여 안정하게 설계되도록 노력하였다. 또한 출력오차를 점근적으로 0에 수렴시키는 것은 표준 기준 모델 적응제어기 내부의 모든 파라미터와 신호가 유한하게 됨을 의미하기 때문에, 제어시스템 전체의 안정도를 보장할 뿐만 아니라 결과적으로 과도응답 성능을 향상시킬 수 있게 되었다. 몇가지 예제를 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 수행하고 그 결과를 분석함으로써 비선형 시변 시스템을 제어할 경우 본 논문에서 전개된 새로운 적응제어 구조의 타당성을 확인하였다.

Experimental Study of the Robot Arm Applying the Gravity Compensator (중력보상기를 적용한 로봇 팔의 실험적 연구)

  • In this paper, the structure of a gravity compensator(GC) was studied, and the 6-axis robot manipulator which is newly developed by applying the GC is presented to improve the torque performance and repeatability error of the robot joint. The kinematics analysis on the robot was presented. Also, experiments of the performance of the joint actuator of robot adopting the gravity compensator were presented by the GC to $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ joints of the robot arm. According to the experiment results, it was validated that the position errors and load torque of the robot joint actuator adopting the GC are reduced significantly.

  • To minimize the resonance frequency error when design Inset-Fed Microstrip Patch Antenna using current formulas. Especially It is found that a constant relation between Antenna patch width and frequency error. Using this relation, calculation frequency and simulation frequency are compared. Finally the comparison induced a formula of revised antenna patch width for accurate frequency in 2-10 GHz. And this formula reduced 2.54% of average frequency error. Last, the Antenna which has same variation with the simulation was producted and measured. It proved the formula's validity.

  • 본 논문은 격자구조가 가지는 모드 선택특성과 격자구조의 모양 변화가 산란/투과 모드에 주는 영향을 분석하였다. 구형파 모양의 격자가 정현파 모양으로 달라짐에 따른 산란/투과 모드의 영향을 분석하였으며 이를 이용하여 격자구조의 제작상의 오차를 추적할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • The analysis of a single stereo model is not sufficient in applying for some large structures, therefore the precise coordinate analysis photogrammetric block adjustment method should be considered. The distribution of control points has a great influence on the error characteristics of the block adjustment results. Thus, the unit model method is applied to the photogrammentric adjustment procedure to study error characterestics with different distributions of control points. Through this study, the second order polynomial equations about bridging distance and plane error are developed in block adjustment of terrestrial photogrammetry. Comparing the block adjustment method and a single model method, root mean square error of the block adjustment method is 0.44mm, and a single model method is 1.06mm.

  • A derotator VLSI which compensates for the frequency and phase errors of a received signal in digital communication systems was developed employing a CORDIC algorithm. The CORDIC circuit directly rotates the input signal according to the phase error information, thus is much simpler than the conventional derotator architecture which consists of a DDFS (Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizer) and a complex multiplier. Since a derotator needs only small phase error accumulation, a fast direction sequence generation method which exploits the linearity of the arctangent function in small angles is utilized in order to enhance the operating speed. The chip was designed and implemented using a $0.6\mu\textrm{m}$ triple metal CMOS process by the full custom layout method. The whole chip size is $6.8\textrm{mm}^2$ and the maximum operating frequency is 25 MHz.

  • This paper presents an analytic derivation of the erroneous effect when the sliding-DFT is implemented in a recursive way with the finite-bit approximation of the twiddle factors. The analysis result is obtained in a closed form equation of the noise-to-signal power ratio(NSR) employing the zero-mean white Gaussian signal as the target input of the DFT. The parameters of the wordlength used in representing the twiddle factors and the blocklength of the DFT appear in the NSR explicitly as its function variables. The derivation is based on the error dynamic equation which is derived from the recursive SDFT, and on the analytic exploration of the statistical characteristics of the approximation coefficients treating them as random variables of having spatial distributions. The analytically derived results are verified through the comparison with the data actually measured from the computer simulation experiment.

  • In this paper, we focus on the developments of complex location awareness algorithms for real-time location based service and precise/stable localization in the outdoor. In the case of using galileo satellite system along with GPS, several error factor such as the ionosphere can be reduced for an increment of used frequency and visible satellites. Therefore, localization estimation error is no longer having problems with location awareness. But, chips synchronization error induces the error of acquisition and tracking, and the performance of receiver can be decreased. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a correlator for performance improvement of receiver in the precise localization.

  • The average bit error rate of wideband CDMA in forward link is evaluated for frequency and timing errors in multipath Rayleigh fading channel. The channel BER is evaluated analytically and information BER is investigated with simulation. The performance degradation due to the code/frequency synchronization errors was obtained through simulation for particular two coding schemes - convolutional codes and turbo codes. The results show 1dB degradation due to Tc/4 timing error and 0.5dB degradation due to 50Hz frequency error, for both coding schemes.

A Study on the Analysis of Semi-infinite Array Structures for Defect Analysis in Frequency Selective Radome (주파수 선택적 레이돔 결함요소 해석을 위한 반-무한배열구조 해석 방안에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, a semi-infinite array analysis method is proposed to analyze the defects that may occur during the fabrication of the frequency selective radome. In the analysis of N×N finite array structure using 3D analysis software, much analysis time and memory are required, whereas the semi-infinite array structure analysis proposed in this paper can predict relatively accurate electromagnetic performance while reducing the analysis time. In comparison with the results of the periodic simulation, the simulation of the semi-infinite array structure confirmed the error within ±3%. To verify the results of the simulation, the results were compared with the measured results, and the same tendency at the point of performance change and similar performance degradation at the band of interest were investigated. Using the proposed semi infinite array structure analysis, it is confirmed that the analysis of defects in the electromagnetic periodic structure is possible.
