Position Control of Wheeled Mobile Robot using Self-Structured Neural Network Model (자율가변 구조의 신경망 모델을 이용한 구륜 이동 로봇의 위치 제어)

  • A self-structured neural network algorithm that finds optimal fuzzy membership functions and nile base to fuzzy model is proposed and a fuzzy-neural network controller is designed to get more accurate position and velocity control of wheeled mobile robot. This procedure that is composed of three steps has its own unique process at each step. The elements of output term set are increased at first step and then the rule base Is varied according to increase of the elements. The adjusted controller is in competition with controller which doesn't include any increased elements. The adjusted controller will be removed if the control-law lost. Otherwise, the controller is replaced with the adjusted system. After finished regulation of output term set and rule base, searching for input membership functions is processed with constraints and fine tuning of output membership functions is done.

  • The proposed new UCI syntax is compatible with the existing identifier and defines fixed length in such cases as printable ID, bar code and QR code which may entail better usage of identifier itself. For the compatibility, the identifiable metadata "key" is used for the existing UCI identifier and "UCI" element of metadata is defined for the new UCI identifier. The new UCI identifier plays roles of the resolution service and representation, and the old UCI identifier plays a role of internal DB management. Also, the object code has two types, meaningless and meaningful. The meaningful object code type can be used according the content classification standards in various field as comics, games, advertisement etc. The standardization activities can be supported by the root agency of UCI.

  • The feature of digital media's interactivity made the traditional storytelling to be evolved into a new concept of digital storytelling. Unlike films or animations, games' storytelling takes open-ended design method; thus, it is possible to create unlimited number of stones within a game depending upon the decisions of player characters. In this paper, a character-centered game storytelling system of a highly story-based RPG genre will be reviewed, and, it analyzes case studies of how a character with various story values can interact with its background story, virtual game world, and many events in its game storytelling system. Game storytelling structure and game mechanics are related to each other very closely. Therefore, it is possible to control the player's overall movement as the character's story develops according to a predictable structure or situation.

  • Pavilion(樓亭) was a Building for rest and scene appreciation in chosun dynasty. This research was to analyze construction method and the structure of Pavilion. The detail objectives of the research was ; First, the location of Pavilion and the layout of facilities were analyzed and composition principle was found. Second, Pavilion were analyzed about dimension, form, constructive method, and structure. Pavilion location was selected on the consideration of natural condition such as configuration of the ground, climate, and scene state. The Length of Building remained until present was about 8~12m, the depth was about average 3~4m. The results of these study can give deep understand of physical structure and help to reconstruct future Pavilion.

  • The industry of digital culture contents has resulted in the high growth of added value at the area of game and movie in 2004 but the markets of animation character, and music disc have been weaken. Animation industries in Digital culture contents have attracted the attention of the people as the business of multi culture contents which has the possibility to expend and to enhance the added value nut only for the field of image and character business but also for the area of the copy right on. The stable structure of market, however, has not been settked down except a few of successful projects due to the rapid decline of 2D animation and the strong market of 3D in overseas. The purpose of this study is to analyze and research the basic logic of the market structure at the domestic business of 3D animation. In addition this paper is to suggest an alternative in terms of benchmarkin in overseas. It could be expected to achieve the effective production in this field, if the result of this study could be applied to the related world as a development model at the area of 3D animation in digital culture contents.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a quantitative evaluation index of object-oriented software development productivity for EJB 3.0 and EJB 3.1. A lightweight container architecture is a newly-developed architecture in order to solve demerits that N-Tiers enterprise architecture has and to support merits therein. A lightweight container architecture is not as heavy as EJB(Enterprise JavaBeans) architecture is, whereas it provides all the functionality of the EJB container. However, there have been insufficient studies on a performance evaluation of EJB 3.0 and EJB 3.1 on an identical platform. Since a quantitative analysis has been performed only with respect to a partial LoC(Line of Code) analysis, there have been insufficient objective evaluation indeces and guidelines for a new specification released. Accordingly, there has been limited evaluation of software development productivity and on new innovations in a project. Therefore, this study designed and implemented a movie reservation system in EJB 3.0 and EJB 3.1, which was based on the same development platform environment. This study then intends to provide evaluation guidelines for an objective software development productivity cl LoC(Lineand standardization thereof by development platform environment.

Ultrastructural and Histochemical Changes of Mucous Cells in the Gill Epithelium of the Seawater-Adapted Guppy (Poecilia reticulatus) (해수에 적용된 Guppy (Poecilia reticulatus) 아가미 점액세포의 미세구조)

  • Ultrastructural and histochemical changes of mucous cells In the freshwater and seawater-adapted guppy (Poecflia reticulatus) gills were observed by the light, scanning-and transmisslon~lectron microscopes. The mucous cells were usually located in the epithelium of primary lameilne projected from the gill arch. The rough endoplasmic retIculum and Golgi complex were hIghly developed In immature mucous cells. The mature mucous cells were nearly filled with the mucous granules. In the freshwater guppy, the histochemical properties of the mucous cells were a mixture of the neutral mucin, sialomucin and sulfomucin. When guppy was adapted to the seawater, the content of acid glycoproteins (slalomucln and sulfomucin) was decreased. In addition, the number of mucous cells in the seawater-adapted group was less than a third of those in the freshwater one. These results suggest that the seawater-adapted guppy would react to the changed osmotic stress of the seawater. And also, the environmental change by the increased salt concentraion might lead to reduce the chance of infections.

  • The purpose of CIM for shipbuilding should be focused on the efficient processing of information among design, process planning and scheduling activities. The most essential technology for shipbuilding CIM is the product model. This model should not only define a physical product "ship" but also a process "ship production". Major activity for ship production is assembly, which requires intensive use of the relationships among parts of ship structure. Other production information are painting area. shape. weight, etc. The fact that major ship structure is "stiffened-plate" type, which allows us to handle the plate thickness as non-geometric information for practical purpose. Therefore. the geometric model for ship product model should handle the relationship among parts(so called topology) efficiently. We find that a face oriented non manifold data structure can meet this requirement. We apply this non-manifold data structure to the ship compartmentation, structural design, and assembly.

  • The latest volumetric technology's high geometrical accuracy and realism ensure a high degree of correspondence between the real object and the captured 3D model. Nevertheless, since the 3D model obtained in this way constitutes a sequence as a completely independent 3D model between frames, the consistency of the model surface structure (geometry) is not guaranteed for every frame, and the density of vertices is very high. It can be seen that the interconnection node (Edge) becomes very complicated. 3D models created using this technology are inherently different from models created in movie or video game production pipelines and are not suitable for direct use in applications such as real-time rendering, animation and simulation, and compression. In contrast, our method achieves consistency in the quality of the volumetric 3D model sequence by linking re-meshing, which ensures high consistency of the 3D model surface structure between frames and the gradual deformation and texture transfer through correspondence and matching of non-rigid surfaces. And It maintains the consistency of volumetric 3D model sequence quality and provides post-processing automation.

Nonlinear Static Analysis for Seismic Performance Evaluation of Multi-Span Bridges Considering Effect of Equivalent SDOF Methods (등가단자유도 방법의 영향을 고려한 다경간 교량의 내진성능 평가를 위한 비탄성 정적해석)

  • The capacity spectrum method (CSM) can be used to simply estimate the maximum displacement response of the nonlinear structures. To evaluate seismic performance of multi-span bridges using the CSM, the representative response for structural system should be derived from the multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) responses by using the equivalent single-degree-of-freedom (ESDOF) method. The ESDOF method is used to calculate the capacity curve of the structural system from the pushover curves of all piers or structural members estimated by the pushover analysis. In order to evaluate an accuracy of ESDOF methods used in the CSM, the maximum displacements estimated by the CSM incorporating the several ESDOF methods are compared to those by the inelastic time-history analysis for several artificial earthquakes corresponding to the design spectrum.
