Clothing Purchase Behavior of Adolescents by the Consumer Awareness (청소년의 소비자 의식과 의복구매행동)

  • To investigate the consumer awareness and clothing purchase behavior of adolescents, questionnaire was administered to 639 middle and high school students in Daegu. The results were as follows. 1. The consumer awareness of adolescents was analyzed to 4 factors. consciousness of right. consumer information, brand-orientedness and responsibility. Respondents were clustered into three groups : utility-oriented group, brand-oriented group, and consumerism-oriented group. 2. Respondents bought their clothes at specialty stores primarily. They used ´products´, ´family's or friends advices´, and ´purchase experiences´ as information sources. The important criteria for selecting clothes were ´design´, ´price´, and ´suitability´ for oneself. Dissatisfactions after purchasing clothes were with ´price´, ´service´, ´sewing´, and ´size´. The complaining behaviors which respondents did mainly were ´telling friends about dissatisfaction with their purchased clothes´, ´asking for change dissatisfying products or asking for refund´ and ´asking for mending´. 3. Information sources were categorized into 3 factors: ´neutral information source´, ´personal information source´ and ´commercial information source´. Criteria for selecting clothes were factor-analyzed into ´harmony´, ´fashion´ and ´management of clothes´. ´The factors of dissatisfactions with purchased clothes were ´appearance´, ´quality´ and ´service´. 4. The differences by the consumer awareness in clothing purchase behaviors among consumer groups : In information sources. criteria for selecting clothes, complaining behaviors. purchasing places. three consumer groups were different significantly.

  • The pattern of liquor consumers started to change as the well-being trend and great interest in health have risen for the last few years. In particular, consumption of wine is gradually increasing with the findings revealing that drinking proper amount of wine is good for preventing various adult diseases such as sclerosis of the arteries, heart disease and aging. Accordingly, this study aims at understanding the importance of wine buyers' choice attributes when buying and drinking wine in order to contribute to satisfying customers, popularizing wine and expanding its base. From December 1 to 31 in 2008, it made a survey on natives and weekly settled population living in Seoul area who had bought wine at a wine retail shop with literature and positive researches. It made an application of SPSS 12.0 to analyze the importance of wine buyers' choice attribution based on the demographical characteristics and use behavior with such analysis methods as the frequency analysis, the factor analysis, the reliability test, ANOVA and multiple regression. The results are summarized as follows. First, it showed that there are significant differences between buying and drinking wine by producing countries, buying places, prices, companions except for the number of drinking times, drinking places, and information sources. Second, it showed that wine buyers' choice attributes such as brand characteristics and effects on health have a positive effect on customer satisfaction.

  • Location-based services have distinctive service characteristics compared to the past online commerce used on the desktop. In any place, mobile communication devices can be used to access online and utilize online shopping, and it is more convenient for users. In addition, by providing shopping and service information specific to each location, it is possible to provide convenience to the consumers according to their locations. In addition, it provides scarcity of information as well as location, thereby increasing consumers' desire to purchase. In this study, we investigated the effect of scarcity on the Purchase intention of consumers in location-based services. The steps of scarcity are: first, a step without scarcity, Second, providing time limit information, Third, providing quantity limitation information, Fourth, the experiment was designed to provide time and quantity limitation, and 4 groups were analyzed through experimental stimuli The purpose of this study is to verify the moderating effect of the dependent variable on the degree of scarcity by adding 'ubiquity', 'interactivity' and 'privacy' which are characteristics of location-based service. As a result of the analysis, scarcity of time and scarcity of quantity limitation scarcity stimuli showed a moderating effect on ubiquity, interactivity and consumer's purchase intention, and these variables also directly or indirectly affected positively. Consumer confidence was found to have a negative effect on consumers' purchase intentions.

  • 인터넷을 통해 물품 / 서비스 / 정보를 거래하는 것이 이제는 더 이상 새로운 현상이 아니다. 즉, 정보활용기술의 급진적 발전으로 인터넷을 통한 상거래는 시간과 장소 그리고 취급 품목의 제한 없이 필요한 거래를 할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나, 인터넷 쇼핑은 컴퓨터를 물리적으로 인터넷에 접속되어 있어야 만이 필요한 내용을 검색하고 주문하여 구매를 할 수 있어 21 세기를 바쁘게 살아가는, 많은 이동이 수반되는 사람들에게는 물리적 인터넷 접속은 하나의 큰 제한이 되고 있다. 따라서 소비자들을 이러한 한계를 초월할 수 있는 무선으로 인터넷에 연결하여 이동 중에도 핸드폰을 통해 쉽고 간편하게 그리고 더욱 편리하게 상거래 행위를 유도하는 것은 자연스러운 현상이라고 할 수 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위해 일본과 한국에서 이동전화를 이용하는 사람들의 특정을 살펴보고 1) 이동 전화사용의 주목적, 2) 이동전화가 편리한 이유, 3) 이동전화 형태의 선호도, 4) 이동전화 사용의 심리적 안정, 5) 이동전화 사용의 문제점 등에 대한 내용을 설문조사를 통해 조사하여 추후 이동전화를 통해 물품 / 서비스 / 정보를 구입할 의향에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 가를 조사하는 것이다.

  • 모바일 결제시스템의 다양한 특성에 힘입어 많은 사용자는 언제 어디서나 시간과 장소의 제약에서 벗어나 다양한 제품을 손쉽게 구매할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 모바일 결제시스템 사용자들의 특성(인구통계적 특성, 모바일 결제시스템 이용특성)에 따라 모바일 결제시스템이 갖추어야 하는 특성(보안성, 호환성, 효율성, 경제성, 신뢰성)에 대한 인식도가 어떻게 달라지는가를 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 한국과 중국의 모바일 결제시스템 사용자들을 대상으로 설문지를 활용한 실증분석을 실시한 결과, 사용자들의 성별과 국적에 따라 모바일 결제시스템의 일부 특성에 대한 인식도에 있어서 차이가 존재하고 있음을 확인하였다.

Food consumption behaviors of women by marital status: focus on the 2015 consumers survey data on food consumption behaviors (여성의 결혼여부에 따른 식품소비양상 연구 : 2015년 식품소비행태조사의 식품주 구입자 자료를 이용하여)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze food consumption behavior of women by marital status based on the 2015 consumer survey data on Food Consumption Behaviors of the Korea Rural Economic Institute. Methods: We analyzed data describing 3,312 women aged 19 ~ 75 who were the main buyers of foods in their household. The food purchase patterns, dining-out behavior, and use of food-delivery and take-out were investigated. Results: Overall, 40.5% of unmarried women shopped for food once per week and 37.4% spent 200,000 ~ 400,000 won per month. Additionally, 43.1% of married women shopped 2 ~ 3 times per week and 26.6% spent 400,000 ~ 600,000 won (p < 0.0001). Dining-out frequency and one-time cost per person of dining-out for unmarried women were higher than those for married women. With delivery/take-out food frequency, 2 time per week was the highest rate among married women (34.6%) and once per week was the highest among unmarried women (31.2%) respectively. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate food consumption behaviors and trends of Korean women by marital status. This study provides basic data that will be useful for food industries establishing marketing strategies to better meet consumer demands.

A Study on the Use Realities and Purchasing Behaviors of Cosmetics in Adolescents (청소년들의 화장품 사용실태 및 구매행동에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we examined the use of cosmetics among adolescents in our country and their purchasing behavior, as the use of cosmetics has increasingly been prevailing in the younger generation. The aims of this study were to investigate the state of the youth cosmetics market, to grasp the needs of youth and ultimately to suggest the right directions for the youth cosmetics market. The subjects in this study were 1,092 boys and girls from 10 selected secondary schools in Seoul. After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 1,074 respondents were gathered, and the collected data were analyzed by the statistical package (SPSS WIN 18.0). The vast majority of the teens participated in the survey were answered to use basic cosmetics daily, and there was a gradual increase in the frequency that they used color cosmetics. They started to use cosmetics earlier in ages than the older generations. Most of them were in trouble due to acne, and the most dominant way to get rid of their skin troubles was by using cosmetics. The most common place at which they purchased cosmetics were brand shops, and they gave priority to the function of the products when they bought cosmetics. The adolescents were still told by their schools to abstain from using cosmetics, and that was the case for social climate as well. Yet they definitely wanted to be allowed to use cosmetics.

  • 최근 웹 상에 정보가 폭발적으로 증가함에 따라, 사용자의 취향에 맞는 정보를 선별하여 제공하는 추천 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 추천시스템은 사용자의 관심정보를 기술한 사용자 프로파일을 기반으로 동작하기 때문에 정확한 사용자 프로파일의 생성은 매우 중요하다. 사용자의 암시적인 행동정보를 기반으로 취향을 분석하는 대표적인 연구로 사용자가 이용한 웹 문서를 분석하는 방법이 있다. 이는 사용자가 이용하는 웹 문서에 빈번하게 등장하는 단어를 기반으로 사용자의 프로파일을 생성하는 것이다. 그러나 최근 웹 문서는 사용자 취향과 관련 없는 많은 구성요소들(로고, 저작권정보 등)을 포함하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 내용들을 모두 포함하여 웹 문서를 분석한다면 생성되는 프로파일의 정확도는 낮아질 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자 기기에서 사용자의 웹 문서 이용내역을 분석하고, 동일한 사이트로부터 얻어진 문서들에서 반복적으로 등장하는 블록을 제거한 후, 정보블럭을 식별하여 사용자의 관심단어를 추출하는 새로운 프로파일 생성방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 보다 정확하고 빠른 프로파일 생성이 가능해진다. 본 논문에서는 제안방법의 평가를 위해, 최근 구매활동이 있었던 사용자들이 이용한 웹 문서 데이터를 수집하였으며, TF-IDF 방법과 제안방법을 이용하여 사용자 프로파일을 각각 추출하였다. 그리고 생성된 사용자 프로파일과 구매데이터와의 연관성을 비교하였으며, 보다 정확한 프로파일이 추출되는 결과와 프로파일 분석시간이 단축되는 결과를 통해 제안방법의 유효성을 입증하였다.)으로 높은 점수를 보였으며 내장첨가량에 따른 관능특성에서는 온쌀죽은 내장 $2{\sim}5%$ 첨가, 반쌀죽은 내장 $3{\sim}5%$ 첨가구에서 유의적(p<0.05)으로 높은 점수를 보였으나 쌀가루죽은 내장 $1{\sim}2%$ 첨가구에서 유의적(p<0.05)으로 낮은 점수를 보였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해 온쌀은 2%, 반쌀은 3%, 쌀가루는 4%의 내장을 첨가하여 제조한 전복죽이 이화학적, 물성적 및 관능적으로 우수한 것으로 나타났다.n)방법의 결과와 비교하였다.다. 유비스크립트에서는 모바일 코드의 개념을 통해서 앞서 언급한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 문제점을 해결하고자 하였다. 모바일 코드에서는 프로그램 코드가 네트워크를 통해서 컴퓨터를 이동하면서 수행되는 개념인데, 이는 물리적으로 떨어져있으면서 네트워크로 연결되어 있는 다양한 컴퓨팅 장치가 서로 연동하기 위한 모델에 가장 적합하다. 이는 기본적으로 배포(deploy)라는 단계가 필요 없게 되고, 새로운 버전의 프로그램이 작성될지라도 런타임에 코드가 직접 이동하게 되므로 버전 관리의 문제도 해결된다. 게다가 원격 함수를 매번 호출하지 않고 한번 이동된 코드가 원격지에서 모두 수행을 하게 되므로 성능향상에도 도움이 된다. 장소 객체(Place Object)와 원격 스코프(Remote Scope)는 앞서 설명한 특징을 직접적으로 지원하는 언어 요소이다. 장소 객체는 모바일 코드가 이동해서 수행될 계산 환경(computational environment

The Research on Recommender for New Customers Using Collaborative Filtering and Social Network Analysis (협력필터링과 사회연결망을 이용한 신규고객 추천방법에 대한 연구)

  • Consumer consumption patterns are shifting rapidly as buyers migrate from offline markets to e-commerce routes, such as shopping channels on TV and internet shopping malls. In the offline markets consumers go shopping, see the shopping items, and choose from them. Recently consumers tend towards buying at shopping sites free from time and place. However, as e-commerce markets continue to expand, customers are complaining that it is becoming a bigger hassle to shop online. In the online shopping, shoppers have very limited information on the products. The delivered products can be different from what they have wanted. This case results to purchase cancellation. Because these things happen frequently, they are likely to refer to the consumer reviews and companies should be concerned about consumer's voice. E-commerce is a very important marketing tool for suppliers. It can recommend products to customers and connect them directly with suppliers with just a click of a button. The recommender system is being studied in various ways. Some of the more prominent ones include recommendation based on best-seller and demographics, contents filtering, and collaborative filtering. However, these systems all share two weaknesses : they cannot recommend products to consumers on a personal level, and they cannot recommend products to new consumers with no buying history. To fix these problems, we can use the information which has been collected from the questionnaires about their demographics and preference ratings. But, consumers feel these questionnaires are a burden and are unlikely to provide correct information. This study investigates combining collaborative filtering with the centrality of social network analysis. This centrality measure provides the information to infer the preference of new consumers from the shopping history of existing and previous ones. While the past researches had focused on the existing consumers with similar shopping patterns, this study tried to improve the accuracy of recommendation with all shopping information, which included not only similar shopping patterns but also dissimilar ones. Data used in this study, Movie Lens' data, was made by Group Lens research Project Team at University of Minnesota to recommend movies with a collaborative filtering technique. This data was built from the questionnaires of 943 respondents which gave the information on the preference ratings on 1,684 movies. Total data of 100,000 was organized by time, with initial data of 50,000 being existing customers and the latter 50,000 being new customers. The proposed recommender system consists of three systems : [+] group recommender system, [-] group recommender system, and integrated recommender system. [+] group recommender system looks at customers with similar buying patterns as 'neighbors', whereas [-] group recommender system looks at customers with opposite buying patterns as 'contraries'. Integrated recommender system uses both of the aforementioned recommender systems to recommend movies that both recommender systems pick. The study of three systems allows us to find the most suitable recommender system that will optimize accuracy and customer satisfaction. Our analysis showed that integrated recommender system is the best solution among the three systems studied, followed by [-] group recommended system and [+] group recommender system. This result conforms to the intuition that the accuracy of recommendation can be improved using all the relevant information. We provided contour maps and graphs to easily compare the accuracy of each recommender system. Although we saw improvement on accuracy with the integrated recommender system, we must remember that this research is based on static data with no live customers. In other words, consumers did not see the movies actually recommended from the system. Also, this recommendation system may not work well with products other than movies. Thus, it is important to note that recommendation systems need particular calibration for specific product/customer types.
