Determinants of Actual Purchase on m-commerce Sites vs. Determinants of Satisfaction with m-commerce Sites (스마트폰을 활용한 모바일 커머스에서의 실제 구매행동과 만족도의 결정변수 비교)

  • Considering the prevalent use of mobile devices and the mobile Internet in Korea, there should be open doors for retailers to a different type of distribution if they could find out what makes consumers satisfied with m-commerce sites as well as what makes consumers purchase from m-commerce sites. Therefore, we explored: 1) the antecedents of satisfaction with m-commerce sites and 2) the determinants of purchasers vs. browsers of m-commerce. As possible antecedents of the two dependent variables, the following were utilized in the current study: the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), perceived shopping values, and interactivity. According to the results of this study, these variables related to the performance of mobile commerce sites (Perceived ease of use, Perceived usefulness, Synchronicity, Richness of content, and Contextual services) significantly affected satisfaction with m-commerce sites. On the other hand, the most important discriminator of an m-commerce purchaser vs. a browser was human-oriented interactivity, especially interpersonal communication among users. With the help of information technology.

The Effects of Decision Making Delay on Experienced Emotion for Internet Shopping and Internet Shopping Mall Satisfaction (인터넷 쇼핑 중 구매결정 연기가 쇼핑감정과 쇼핑몰 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of the delay reasons in consumer decision making on experienced emotion and shopping mall satisfaction under the Internet shopping environment. A survey was conducted for this study and 500 answer sheets were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results are as follows: First, performance risk, financial risk, and social risk significantly have a positive effect on negative emotions for Internet shopping. Second, performance risk has a significant negative effect on positive emotions for Internet shopping. Third, social risk and procedural uncertainty significantly have a positive effect on positive emotions and this shows these reasons are related to pleasure and fun. Forth, needs uncertainty has a negative effect on negative emotions for Internet shopping. Finally, positive and negative emotions that consumer experienced for Internet shopping affect Internet shopping mall satisfaction.

The psychological factors and impacts in lottery-purchasing decisions (복권 구매행동의 심리적 결정요인과 그 영향)

  • An experimental research investigated the components of lottery games affecting lottery-purchasing behaviors and the psychological consequences of the behaviors. In the experiment, participants were given a chance to purchase a lottery tickets during a series of computer games and their decision of purchasing the lottery ticket was measured. Also, the size and probability of the lottery games were manipulated and the perceived difficulty, satisfaction of the mid-outcome, and perceived probability of success in the computer game were measured in order to examine their impacts on participants' lottery-purchasing decisions. In addition, the behavioral tendency, satisfaction of the final outcome, and perceived self-capability in the computer game were measured at the end of the computer games in order to examine the effects of lottery-purchasing experiences on the variables. Participants who perceived the games as easier and estimated the probability of their success highly were more likely to buy the lottery tickets. However, the winning prize and odd of lottery tickets, perceived satisfaction of their own performance, and the performance itself did not influence the purchasing decisions. The common beliefs on the negative effects of lottery-purchasing experiences on human motivation and behaviors were not supported. The implications of the present research findings and limitations of the experimental research on lottery were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the degree of mimetic purchase on product satisfaction. In addition the present study aims to investigate the moderating role of the self esteem and public self in the relationship between mimetic purchase and product satisfaction. Taken together, hypothesis 1 is as in the following. H1 : As the degree of mimetic purchase increases, product satisfaction will increase. To reveal the moderating role of the self esteem and public self in this path, 2 research hypotheses are derived as follows: H2 : The effect of mimetic purchase on product satisfaction is moderated by self esteem. H3 : The effect of mimetic purchase on product satisfaction is moderated by public self. Results from an empirical study showed that as the degree of mimetic purchase increases, product satisfaction increase. Thus, H1 is fully supported. And the results showed that the first interaction effect(H2) between the mimetic purchase and the self esteem is significant. Thus, H2 is also supported. But the second interaction effect(H3) has been shown to be not significant.

A Comparative Study on the Recognition and Purchasing Behavior of Cosmeceutical Cosmetics and Medical Cosmetics (코스메슈티컬 화장품과 메디컬 화장품의 인식도 및 구매 행동에 따른 비교 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the differences and satisfaction of each purchase behavior by classifying cosmeceutical and medical cosmetics. A total of 861 questionnaires were distributed to males in their 20s to 50s (from 1 march 2017). A total of 446 respondents with experience using cosmeceutical cosmetics and medical cosmetics used as the final analysis material. According to the study, the term recognition for cosmeceutical cosmetics and medical cosmetics was very low. The differences in each purchase behavior were not statistically significant. but cosmeceutical cosmetic products have been found to have a significant impact on quality, price, container design, and service satisfaction among purchase preference factors (p<0.05, p<0.01, p<0.001), In particular, it was found that satisfaction with quality was the greatest. Medical cosmetics have been found to have a significant positive (+) effect on brand image, price, and container design among purchase preference factors (p<0.01, p<0.001), It was also found to have the biggest satisfaction with the brand image. Based on the results of this study, The features of cosmeceutical cosmetics and medical cosmetics are subdivided. It has been deemed necessary to develop differentiated products according to each purchase behavior and preference.

Influence of Consumers' Purchasing Selection Criteria for Golf-wear upon Clothing Pursuit Benefit and Purchase Satisfaction (골프웨어 소비자의 구매선택기준이 의복추구혜택과 구매만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze a research on the influence of consumers' purchasing selection criteria for golf-wear upon clothing pursuit benefit and purchase satisfaction. It selected people who are using golf games and golf courses in each city and county where are located in Gangwon-do Province, and surveyed targeting totally 206 people by using convenience sampling. As for data processing, the collected materials in this study were carried out frequency & percentage, reliability analysis, correlation & multiple regression analysis by using SPSS 13.0 program. The results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing socio-demographic characteristics, the similar distribution was shown by gender with 51.0% in men and 49.0% in women. By age, the age group from their 40s to 50s was indicated to be the largest. The martial status was indicated to be a litter higher in the married with 57.3% compared to the unmarried with 42.7%. By healthy condition, what tends to be healthy can be known to be the largest with 79.4%. Second, positive correlation was indicated all in correlation of consumers' purchasing selection criteria for golf-wear with the clothing pursuit benefit and satisfaction. Third, as a result of analyzing on relationship of the golf-wear purchasing selection criteria with the clothing pursuit benefit, the purchasing selection criteria were indicated to have influence upon the ideal pursuit, the fashion & brand, comfort pursuit, and youthand-individuality pursuit, which are the clothing pursuit benefits. Fourth, the analytical result on the purchasing selection criteria for golf-wear with purchase satisfaction was indicated to have significant influence upon consumers' golf-wear purchase satisfaction.

A Study on Factors Influencing Purchase Intention of Smartphones on Chinese University Students (중국 대학생들의 스마트폰 구매의도 영향요인에 관한연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting purchase intention of smartphone in Chinese university students. We have identified five independent variables that affecting purchase intention of smartphone, which include price, compatibility, security, social influence and consumer innovations. We test the degree of influence of these five variables on customer satisfaction eventually and on purchase intention. To prove the hypothesis, we performed questionnaire investigation in Qingdao University. and final date of 187 samples were analyzed by using SPSS18.0 program. The result of hypothesis verification is the followings: As the independent variables of compatibility and consumer innovations are affects satisfaction; the price, security and social influence are not affects satisfaction and the satisfaction as the parameter affects the purchase intention which is the dependent variable in this study in Chinese university students. At the end of this study, the marketing implications for advancing to China market based on the results of empirical analysis were presented.

The Effects of Internet Shopping Motivation on Information Searching Intention, Customer Satisfaction and Purchase Intention: focusing on Consumers in Beijing (인터넷쇼핑동기가 정보탐색의도, 만족도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향: 중국 북경소비자를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of internet shopping motivations on information searching intention, customer satisfaction and purchase intention. To achieve this goal, literature review and empirical studies were conducted in parallel. The results of this study are as follows: First, the motives of internet shopping of Chinese consumers were found to be in four dimensions, "seeking convenience," "seeking low-cost," "seeking variety" and "seeking pleasures", in order of large proportions, respectively. Second, Among these four internet shopping motivations "seeking convenience,""seeking variety" and "seeking pleasures" were found to have direct, significant and positive effects on information searching intention. But "seeking low-cost" has no positive effects on information searching intention. Third, information searching intention was found to have direct impact on customer satisfaction and purchase intention. Fourth, Customer satisfaction has an direct and positive effects on purchase intention.

A Study on the Brand Image and Purchase Satisfaction of Multiplex Cinemas according to the Types of Value Perceptions of Offline Movie Viewers (오프라인 영화 관람객의 가치 인식 유형에 따른 멀티플렉스 영화관의 브랜드이미지, 구매 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • The spread of Over-The-Top (OTT) service, which represents Netflix, and the social distancing caused by COVID-19, acted as an overall bad news for domestic multiplex movie theaters. In addition to this, the phenomenon of digital shifting was added, and the need for domestic offline movie theaters to seek a new market for growth emerged. This study focused on the concept of consumer value perception amid this problem consciousness, and attempted to investigate the relationship between the brand image of multiplex movie theaters and purchase satisfaction according to the type of consumer value perception. After data was sampled through a questionnaire survey to a total of 350 subjects, the results of empirical analysis according to the study model are as follows. Among the types of value perception of offline movie viewers, practicality had the strongest influence on brand image construction, and self-faithfulness had the strongest influence on purchase satisfaction of offline movie watching. In addition, the brand image of offline movie theaters had a positive(+) effect on the purchase satisfaction of moviegoers. Based on this, this study suggested a new survival strategy in the new normal era of offline Multiplex Cinemas.

The Effect of Purchase Characteristics on the Purchase Satisfaction Degrees in Cosmetics Shopping : A Focus on Mediating Effect of Social Media Activities of Supplier and Consumer (화장품 구매특성이 구매만족도에 미치는 영향: 공급자 구매자의 소셜미디어 활동의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The study aims to explore whether the Supplier's social medial activities and the consumer's social media activities mediate between the characteristics of purchasing cosmetics and the intention of purchasing. To answer this question, a total of 321 consumers participated in the study, and a self-report type of questionnaires were utilized to collect the data. For the data analysis, descriptive statistical analysis and structural equation modeling(SEM) were applied. The results from the study are as follows. First, the characteristics of purchasing cosmetics did not affect the intention of purchasing cosmetics. Second, both the Supplier's and the consumer's social media activities positively predicted the intention of purchasing, among which the consumer's activities were ascertained to make more influential impact on the intention of purchasing cosmetics. Third, both Supplier's and consumer's social media activities completely mediated between the characteristics of purchasing cosmetics and the intention of purchasing. More discussions are suggested for marketing strategies in the study.
