Values of travel time reliability (통행시간 신뢰성 가치 산정에 관한 연구)

  • The term, travel time reliability, refers to variations in journey time that travelers cannot predict. This issue has been one of the main research topics in transport studies. This paper, especially, investigates the value of travel time reliability. The marginal substitution rate method is suggested as the way for the valuation and travelers' stated preference data are collected based on a choice experiment. A mode choice model is estimated using the data surveyed. The parameters of travel costs and travel time reliability from the model are used to calculate the marginal substitution rate that is interpreted as the value of travel time reliability. The value is arranged by travel areas of intercity and urban trips and by journey purposes of working and non-working types. The result of this research is expected to be helpful of conducting more cautious economic feasibility studies of transport schemes.

An Analysis of the Research Trend on Smart Mobility : Topic Modeling Approach (스마트 모빌리티 연구 동향에 관한 분석 : 토픽 모델링의 적용)

  • Recently, with the widespread expansion of convergence based on digital connectivity, the transportation and mobility fields are rapidly changing, and research related to this is also diversifying. This study aims to analyze the research trends in the mobility field and identify key research areas and topics. Topic modeling analysis has been proved as a useful approach for analyzing the research trends. The abstracts of 142 research papers concerning mobility from the Korean academic citation index were analyzed, derived 9 research topics and linked to 6 key elements of research framework. The result showed that 'Advanced vehicle and transportaion technology' and 'Linkage and integrated services among means for mobility' were most actively studied research fields. It also found that research on insurance, law, regulation for securing user's safety and conflict-resolving with the existing industry has been conducted.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze the perceptions of passengers on various topics related to passenger ship operation, by targeting the passengers (passenger ship consumers) at coastal passenger terminals in three regions, Incheon, Mokpo, and Tongyeong, where many coastal passenger ships operate in Korea. The survey period was October 1-October 11, 2019, just before the outbreak of COVID-19, and the number of samples was 277. The analysis was divided into two elements. Results of the analysis show that, for items islanders as well as the general public did not respond to more than 50% positively, a more in-depth review of policies and fare policies for transportation-disabled facilities through comprehensive fare evaluation such as the excellence of transportation-disabled facilities, the appropriateness of fares, and the appropriateness of fare guidance are necessary. It is expected that this study will contribute to the preparation for re-opening after COVID-19, as well as contribute to public transportation policy.

  • The Korean government and industry have presented a roadmap for the commercialization of UAM services and are promoting it in earnest. In order to introduce full-scale UAM services, there are various issues to be solved, such as the development of high-performance aircraft, the design of network bases and corridors, the optimization of operation management, and the establishment of related laws and systems. In this study, in terms of optimizing operation management, we will examine research trends by field, focusing on Korea, and derive research topics that need to be solved in the future. Korean researchers have suggested that research is centered on UAM service usage fees, usage intentions and acceptance models, and vertiport location selection, but operational optimization studies such as service order acceptance, aircraft repositioning, and battery charging and maintenance scheduling are needed in the future.

  • 영예의 대통령상이 수여되는 한국건축문화대상의 대상이 올해부터 '비주거'와 '주거'로 나뉘어 확대, 시상한다. 그 첫번째 수혜자로 비주거부문은 김삭식 건축사(주.금성 종합건축사사무소 대표)가 설계하고, (주)금호산업이 시공한 '광주광역시청사'가 주거부문에는 김종국(주.종합건축사사무소 건원)건축사가 설계하고, 현대산업개발(주)이 시공한 '아이파크 삼성동'이 국내 준공건축물들을 대상으로 한 2004한국건축문화대상에서 영예의 대상으로 각각 선정됐다. 또 올해 한국건축문화대상에서는 KT여의도사옥 등 6작품이 본상을 차지한 것을 비롯해 우수상 등 모두 22개 작품이 수상작으로 선정됐다. "불이 - Architecture in NatureㆍNature in Architecture"를 주제로 공모한 일반 및 신인ㆍ학생 대상의 계획건축물부문에서는 박종대, 윤새봄, 김정희(인하대학교 건축공학과대학원 건축의장연구실)씨가 공동 출품한 'Plankton House'가 금상을 차지한 것을 비롯해 은상 2팀, 동상 3팀 입선 22점 등 모두 28개 팀이 입상했다. 올해 한국건축문화대상에는 준공건축물부문 89점, 계획건축물부문 252점 등 총 341개 작품이 응모했다. 비주거 부문의 대상을 차지한 광주광역시청사는 "관 건물의 이미지를 탈피하여 하나의 문화 건물로 탈바꿈하려는 시도가 특히 돋보이는 작품으로 시공에도 많은 어려움이 있었음에도 불구하고 완성도가 우수한 작품"이란 평을 받았다. 또한 주거 부문의 아이파크 삼성동은 "아파트이면서도 주상복합의 이미지를 구현시키면서 판상형 형태에서 벗어나 탑상형 배치에 의한 낮은 건폐율 적용으로 친환경적인 단지를 이루고 있으며, 특히 시공이 매우 우수한 작품"이란 평을 받았다. 한편 올해부터 우리나라 건축문화발전을 위해 기여한 건축인을 발굴해 시상하는 '올해의 건축인상'을 제정, 그 첫번째 수상자로 김석철 건축사(아키반건축도시연구원 건축사사무소)와 이창남 건축사(센구조 건축사사무소)가 선정되어 건설교통부장관상을 받았다. 시상식은 지난 11월 24일 서울 종로구 세종로 세종문화회관 컨벤션홀에서 개최되어 대상의 비주거부문 수상작의 설계자인 김상식 건축사에게 대통령상 그리고 시공자인 (주)금호산업에게는 건설교통부장관상, 건축주인 광주광역시장에게는 국무총리상이 수여됐다. 또한 주거부문 수상작의 시공자인 현대산업개발(주)에게 대통령상 그리고 설계자인 김종국 건축사에게는 국무총리상, 건축주인 현대산업개발(주)에게는 건설교통부장관상이 수여됐다. 또 KT 여의도빌딩 등 본상 6개 작품의 설계자 및 시공자에게는 건설교통부장관상 등 정부포상이, 준공건축물부문 우수상 입상자 전원에게는 각각 대한건축사협회장상, 서울경제신문사장상이 수여됐다. 계획건축물부문의 금상 수상자에게는 건설교통부장관상과 상금이 수여되었으며, 은상과 동상, 입선작은 대한건축사협회장상과 상금이 각각 수여됐다. 아울러 동상이상 수상자 중 영어 인터뷰심사를 거쳐 2명을 선발, ARCASIA 학생잼버리대회 파견 특전이 주어진다. 건설교통부와 대한건축사협회, (주)서울경제신문이 공동주최하고 대한주택공사 등 건설관련 5개 단체가 후원하는 한국건축문화대상은 올해로 13회째 개최되고 있다. 더욱이 올해에는 대통령상을 두 부문으로 나누어 시상하는 등 그 폭이 넓어져 수상자에게 더 큰 영예를 주었으며, 시간이 흐를수록 그동안 기성 건축인들의 창작의욕 고취는 물론 건축저변을 크게 확대하였다는 평과 아울러 우리 건축문화 창달에 기여해 한국건축문화대상은 명실공히 국내 건축인은 물론 일반 국민의 대표 건축축제로 자리매김하고 있다.

Implementation of GIS-based Application Program for Circuity and Accessibility Analysis in Road Network Graph (도로망 그래프의 우회도와 접근도 분석을 위한 GIS 응용 프로그램 개발)

  • Recently, domain-specific demands with respect to practical applications and analysis scheme using spatial thematic information are increasing. Accordingly, in this study, GIS-based application program is implemented to perform spatial analysis in transportation geography with base road layer data. Using this program, quantitative estimation of circuity and accessibility, which can be extracted from nodes composed of the graph-typed network structure, in a arbitrary analysis zone or administrative boundary zone is possible. Circuity is a concept to represent the difference extent between actual nodes and fully connected nodes in the analysis zone. While, accessibility can be used to find out extent of accessibility or connectivity between all nodes contained in the analysis zone, judging from inter-connecting status of the whole nodes. In put data of this program, which was implemented in AVX executable extension using AvenueTM of ArcView, is not transportation database information based on transportation data model, but layer data, directly obtaining from digital map sets. It is thought that computation of circuity and accessibility can be used as kinds of spatial analysis functions for GIS applications in the transportation field.

  • This study is a basic research for establishing a mid- to long-term development plan for the library of the Korea Expressway Corporation that can establish the vision and core values of the library and continuously grow by taking advantage of the specialization of the road transportation field in preparation for the 4th industrial revolution and post-corona era. The current state, satisfaction, and demand of the library were conducted for users of the Korea Expressway Corporation, and based on this, a mid- to long-term development plan was proposed. As a result of the research, first, the library of the Korea Expressway Corporation should provide information services to respond to the immediate information needs of its members as a library that supports academic and research activities as well as the comprehensive collection and preservation of related materials as a national road transportation representative library. Second, it is necessary to establish a systematic collection development policy, and it is necessary to collect collections by detailed themes related to road traffic. Third, overall service development is necessary, and Korea Expressway Corporation library homepage and mobile service should be developed. Lastly, space improvement must be made through space reorganization, and it is necessary to expand the usability through the introduction of the latest technology.

  • 졸음운전으로 인한 교통사고는 매년 꾸준하게 일어나 이에 대한 다방면의 해결책이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 위 문제를 개선하고자 ChatGPT와 영상처리를 이용한 졸음 감지 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 운전자의 얼굴 부분을 영상처리로 인식하여 눈동자의 종횡비를 구해 PERCLOS 공식에 따른 운전자의 졸음을 판별시키고, 경고와 동시에 ChatGPT가 운전자에게 특정 주제를 키워드로 TTS와 STT를 통해 대화한다. 운전자의 졸음을 판별하기 위해 임베디드 보드에서 연결된 캠을 통해 졸음 판별을 하고, ChatGPT도 마찬가지로 보드에서 연결한 스피커, 마이크를 통해 운전자와 대화한다. 이를 활용하여 운전자의 졸음 자각을 통한 안전운전 및 사고 발생률의 감소를 기대할 수 있다.

A Study on the Establishment of Database for the Efficient Management of Unexecuted Urban Planning Facilities (미집행 도시계획시설의 효율적 관리를 위한 DB구축 방안에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis for classification of unexecuted urban planning facilities using the Geographic Information System(GIS) to prepare measures for systematic and efficient management of unexecuted urban planning facilities and to find ways to establish national territory information for continuous management and operation by database of spatial data of classified unexecuted urban planning facilities. For this purpose, the present state of urban management plan, thematic map, cadastral map, satellite image of Korea Land Information System(KLIS) were collected from Miryang City, and qualitative analysis of the execution and non-execution of urban planning facilities was conducted by combining the layer of urban planning facilities, satellite images, and continuous cadastral layers of cadastral maps with classified and processed owner attribute information. According to the analysis, the unexecuted facilities were derived as unexecuted facilities, as most of the private land, without any current status roads or facilities created in satellite imagery. In addition, although the current status road was opened, the facilities that included some private land were derived as facilities that were recognized and executed by the local government as the de facto controlling entity through public transportation. The derived unexecuted urban planning facilities were divided into layers of shape data and the unexecuted property data were organized to quickly and accurately identify the status of non-executed and statistical information. In this study, we proposed an analysis plan that introduced GIS technology for scientific and rational analysis of unexecuted urban planning facilities and the establishment of reliable spatial data, and proposed a plan to establish a database for connection with existing systems and use of information.
