This study was conducted to identify profiles of loners and those likely to suffer academic burnout among middle school students and to determine whether these profiles differed by gender, ego-resilience, ego-weakness, and school adaptation. The participants in this study were 270 middle school students in Kyung-nam. The results showed that there were four main profiles of students related to their likelihood of being loners and suffering academic burnout: the adaptive group, which had a low tendency towards both loneliness and academic burnout; the burnout group, which had a high tendency towards academic burnout but a low tendency towards loneliness; the lonely group, which had a high tendency towards loneliness but a low tendency towards academic burnout; and the loner-burnout group, which had high tendencies towards both loneliness and academic burnout. Cross-tabulation and one-way ANOVA analyses of the four groups showed that the loneliness-burnout group had a statistically lower level of ego-resilience, higher level of ego-weakness, and lower level of school adaptation than the other groups. This paper discusses the implications for counseling middle school students and presents suggestions for future research.

This study was to segment The 2014 Korean Medicine-Bio Fair visitors based on fair quality factors. From the on-site survey at the destination, a total of 308 useful sample were collected and analyzed in SPSS 21.0. From factor analysis, the result shows 5 quality types of 'fair product', 'convenient facilities', 'accessibility', 'promotional information' and 'contents.' Also Three different segmented groups were derived form clusters analysis, which are 'accessibility preference group', 'promotion preference group', and 'high quality preference group.' The result of this study indicated that there were significant differences in demographic, satisfaction and behavioral variables between these three segments. More theoretical and practical implication were discussed in the conclusion section.

To investigate the antibiotic resistant patterns of the bacteria producing ESBL, we isolated one organism of Klebsiella pneumoniae from a clinical laboratory in Busan. The organism that produces ESBL gene was detected by double disk synergy test and the presence of three ESBL genes (TEM-1, SHV-12, CTX-M-15) was confirmed by polymerase chain reaction and DNA sequencing analysis. To analyse the characteristics of three ESBL genes, we performed transconjugation, transformation and cloning experiment with the organism. The MIC of Klebsiella pneumoniae was revealed that ceftazidime, cefotaxime and ceftriaxone were $256\;{\mu}g/ml,\;128\;{\mu}g/ml\;and\;128\;{\mu}g/ml$ respectively. The MIC of conjugant (E. coli $RG176^{Na(r)}$) af was revealed that ceftazidime, cefotaxime and ceftriaxone were $256\;{\mu}g/ml,\;64\;{\mu}g/ml\;and\;128\;{\mu}g/ml$ respectively. The MIC of transformant (E. cofi $DH5{\alpha}$) was revealed that ceftazidime, cefotaxime and ceftriaxone were $128\;{\mu}g/ml,\;32\;{\mu}g/ml,\;and\;32\;{\mu}g/ml$ respectively, The MIC of cloned organism of SHV-12 gene (E. coli $DH5{\alpha}$) was revealed that ceftazidime, cefotaxime and ceftriaxone were $128\;{\mu}g/ml,\;8\;{\mu}g/ml,\;and\;32\;{\mu}g/ml$ respectively. The results indicated that MIC of conjugant was higher than MIC of transformant and also SHV-12 gene were not resistant against cefotaxime antibiotic.

As shown by the popularity of the rapid train in the Seoul Metro Line No. 9, the demand for the rapidization of the metro transit has been continuously increased. However, it needs tremendous cost to construct new additional infrastructures to the existing line for the rapidization. In order to overcome the problem, utilizing the existing infrastructures such as crossing tracks as railroad sidetracks can be considered to be a good method of reducing the cost. In this case, there is a way exploiting the existing train as an express train and the advanced train, which increases both acceleration and deceleration, as a local train, but achievable acceleration and deceleration have not been analyzed rigorously. In this paper, we analyze feasible ranges and optimal values of both acceleration and deceleration of the advanced train analytically when we consider the rapidization of the metro transit utilizing the existing infrastructures and verify the results in Seoul Metro Line No. 3. Simulation results show ranges and optimal values of achievable acceleration and deceleration exist when minimum gap between an express train and a local train is smaller than 40 seconds.

For many rears, traffic accident statistics are the most direct measure of safety for a signalized intersection. However it takes more than 2 or 3 yearn to collect certain accident data for adequate sample sizes. And the accident data itself is unreliable because of the difference between accident data recorded and accident that is actually occurred. Therefore, it is rather difficult to evaluate safety for a intersection by using accident data. For these reasons, traffic conflict technique(TCT) was developed as a buick and accurate counter-measure of safety for a intersection. However, the collected conflict data is not always reliable because there is absence of clear criteria for conflict. This study developed objective and accurate conflict criteria, which is shown below based on traffic engineering theory. Frist, the rear-end conflict is regarded, when the following vehicle takes evasive maneuver against the first vehicle within a certain distance, according to car-following theory. Second, lane-change conflict is regarded when the following vehicle takes evasive maneuver against first vehicle which is changing its lane within the minimum stopping distance of the following vehicle. Third, cross and opposing-left turn conflicts are regarded when the vehicle which receives green sign takes evasive maneuver against the vehicle which lost its right-of-way crossing a intersection. As a result of correlation analysis between conflict and accident, it is verified that the suggested conflict criteria in this study ave applicable. And it is proven that estimating safety evaluation for a intersection with conflict data is possible, according to the regression analysis preformed between accident and conflict, EPDO accident and conflict. Adopting the conflict criteria suggested in this study would be both quick and accurate method for diagnosing safety and operational deficiencies and for evaluation improvements at intersections. Further research is required to refine the suggested conflict criteria to extend its application. In addition, it is necessary to develope other types of conflict criteria, not included in this study, in later study.

This study was focused on analyzing the headway of various types of trailer in Pusan city with the high heavy vehicle rate. Then Passenger Car Equivalent(PCE) was calibrated in order to identify the impact of trailers in the traffic flow at the signalized intersections. To fulfill this goal types of trailer were classified into five categories such as full trailer semi-trailer unloaded semi-trailer semi-trailer loaded with 20ft container and semi-trailer loaded with 40ft container and Passenger Car Equivalents were identified. the Results are as follows: 1) The PCE’s were 2.64, 1.51, 2.09, 2.16 and 2.23 respectively. 2) The saturation flow rate on the signalized intersection was lower than that on the multi-lane highway in the big city of Korea. 3) The start-up delay on the thru lane was similar to the average value in our country but the start-up delay on the left-turn lane was longer than the average value in our country by the impact of container Vehicles.

재무모형의 검증과 포트폴리오의 성과측정 등에 이용할 목적으로 시장모형에 의한 베타계수를 추정할 때 대부분의 연구들은 측정간격을 달리한 수익률의 자료들 즉 일간, 주간 혹은 월간수익률의 자료들 중에서 임의적으로 하나를 선택하고 있다. 그런데 진정한 투자계획기간과 다른 기간간격에 대하여 계산된 수익률자료의 임의적 선택은 시장모형에 의한 베타계수의 추정치에는 물론 그러한 추정치를 이용한 재무모형의 검증 및 포트폴리오의 성과측정 등에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 점이 몇몇 연구자들에 의하여 지적되고 있다. 본 연구는 기업규모와 베타의 크기에 따라 구성된 포트폴리오를 대상으로 하여 수익률의 측정간격이 시장모형에 의한 베타계수의 추정치에 어떠한 영향을 미치게 되는가를 실증적으로 살펴보고 있다. 1984년 1월 4일부터 1995년 12월 27일까지의 기간(총거래일수 3515일)에 걸쳐 수익률의 측정간격을 달리하여 산출한 연속복리수익률을 이용하여 분석한 결과에 의하면, 규모나 베타가 시장평균에 비하여 상대적으로 작은 포트폴리오에 있어서는 수익률의 측정간격이 길어짐에 따라 추정되는 베타계수는 더욱 커지고, 반면에 규모나 베타가 시장평균에 비하여 상대적으로 큰 포트폴리오에 있어서는 수익률의 측정간격이 길어짐에 따라 베타계수는 더욱 작아진다는 것을 알 수 있다. 그래서 월간수익률과 같이 장기수익률의 자료를 이용할 경우에 시장모형에 의해 추정되는 베타계수는 규모가 작을수록 크게 나타나지만, 일간수익률과 같이 단기수익률의 자료를 이용할 경우에는 규모가 작다(크다)고 해서 추정되는 베타계수가 반드시 크게(작게) 나타나지는 않는다. 그리고 본 연구는 수익률의 측정간격을 달리함에 따라 추정되는 베타계수에 차이가 나타나는 주된 원인이 각 포트폴리오의 단위기간수익률에 있어서 시장지수의 단위기간수익률에 대한 시점간 교차상관의 상대적 강도에 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다.

The longitude and latitude of a geosynchronous satellite are not defined as a point in space because of various external perturbations. To perform the missions of a satellite for a communication and broadcasting, the satellite must be positioned within a predefined station keeping box in given limited space longitude. In this study, we propose east-west station keeping box larger than that of north-south station. By using the derived error equation, we verified the Koreasat station keeping box allocation by assuming one week and two weeks of station keeping cycle.

Recently, the government has adjusted the 4th National Master Plan in an effect to achieve balanced national land development. However, the current traffic accident index ranks among the lowest in OECD countries, ranking 25th out of 29 countries. Therefore, this study is aimed at indicating problems with National Expressway and local roads developing a solution by analyzing the problems and suggesting the most appropriate design speed for inter-changes where the traffic accidents occur frequently. With the results, it is to obtain a design speed decision formula at interchange branch points to prevent traffic accidents, secure safe and optimal road conditions and maximize traffic load capability.
