The purpose of this study was to investigate the small-group instruction of mathematics in elementary schools. For this, a sample of 742 teachers of elementary schools completed the survey. As a result, about 27.8% of the teachers reported using small group instruction while they worked with one group or they assigned to other groups worked alone. Only 2% of the teachers reported using small group in which students were encouraged to participated cooperatively. This study discusses the five issues about small group instruction in elementary school. The five issues were investigated in this survey. First, major teaching method in mathematics classroom and using of small group instruction were described. Second, frequency and period of small-group instruction were reported. Third, grouping method in small-group instruction was described. And Fourth, effect grouping practices of small-group instruction were described. Fifth, the model of small group instruction and assessment in small-group instruction were reported.

The purpose of this study is to identify the Issues of the survey on employment status at the vocational high school. For this, 19 chief teachers of employment department were interviewed with the validity of the concept of employment, the appropriateness of the survey period, the effectiveness of the survey method, and the usefulness of the survey output. The main results of research were as follows. First, in the survey of current employment situation, employment is a low standard to be recognized as an ordinary standard, and the employment counts not linked to DB are likely to be inaccurate. Second, regarding the period of employment, the current February survey is difficult to distinguish between field study and employment, and there is a limit to the study of full employment. Third, the present method has limitations on reliability and work efficiency in the survey method. Fourth, current output is not useful for school use in relation to survey output.

While the first step of the comprehensive plan for educational informationization focused on the infrastructure establishment, the second step aims to develop creativity and problem solving skills of students through the use of Information and Communication Technology(ICT). The purpose of this research is to investigate the current status of the educational use of ICT in elementary schools, and to give guidelines for future educational informationization. Four aspects of ICT(i.e., school environments, teachers' abilities to use ICT, methods for using ICT in class, and factors hindering the use of ICT in schools) were examined in the survey. From the survey, it is found that ICT is now used in schools more actively than before. However, it is also found that more efforts need to be made in some areas such as instructional strategies using ICT in class, and the design and the management of teacher training programs.
