현대 사회가 급변하면서 가족 구조와 형태가 다양해지고, 여성의 경제 활동과 맞벌이 부부가 증가함에 따라 영유아 대상 돌봄에 대한 요구는 다양하게 변화하고 있다. 그러나 보육기관 증설 및 운영 시간 연장 등으로 보육의 공공성을 강화해 나가는 것에 반해, 유아 교육기관의 질과 영유아 상호작용에 큰 영향을 미치는 유치원 교사의 근무 여건 개선은 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 유치원 교사는 영유아의 성장과 발달에 결정적이고, 무조건적인 영향을 미치기 때문에 교육의 질을 결정하는 가장 중요한 요인이라 할 수 있다. 그럼에도 긴 근무 시간, 저임금, 학부모의 지나친 요구, 부진한 복지제도 등의 열악한 근무환경에서 직무스트레스와 그에 따른 심리적 소진을 경험하고 있다 본 연구에서는 유치원 교사가 지각하는 직무스트레스와 심리적 소진의 관계에서 자기자비와 마음챙김의 조절 효과를 규명하여 유치원 교사들이 흔히 겪을 수 있는 일반적인 어려움을 예상해보고 그 요인을 찾아 분석함으로서 유치원 교사의 스트레스를 예방하거나 감소시키기 위한 지원 방안 및 유치원 교사를 위한 교육프로그램 개발의 기초 자료로 활용되는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 내 유치원에 근무하는 교사 200명을 대상으로 직무스트레스척도(MTOSFQ), 심치적 소진척도(MBI), 자기자비척도(K-SCS), 마음챙김척도(FFMQ)를 사용하여 설문을 실시한 후 SPSS v22, 독립표본 t검정, 일원배치 분산분석, 선형회귀분석과 매개효과 검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the required concept in the architectural competition for public library and its application in design process. The research is based on the 27 design guideline of architectural competition for public library from 2009 to 2013 and, as a case study, the project for the Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Library, the prize winner in 2014. Three required concepts; symbolism, function, and sustainability, are categorized through the analysis on the design guideline of 27 competitions and are identified. Symbolism is expressed by landmark forms based on the local characteristics. The function of public library means to provide services to everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, religion etc., as a local community. Sustainability is related to passive architecture for the maintenance and management of buildings. These three concepts for public library applied on the design process of Chungcheongnam-do Provincial Library and design elements in each process are categorized in three concepts. The results shows not only how closely the locality and a user are related, but also the changes in the appearance of a public library as time passed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between public library use and the individual's personal value system. The personal value system was measured by Schwartz's (1992) Theory of Basic Human Values. The theory includes ten universal values, which can be categorized into four higher-order values: namely, self-transcendence vs. self-enhancement; and openness to change vs. conservation. The data were collected on the web from 1,000 Korean adults who were 18 years old or above using a quota sampling method with respect to the distributions of gender, age, and geographic locations of the general Korean adult population. The collected data were analyzed using multi-dimensional scaling method, t-tests, and multiple correlations. The results showed that the public library is more likely to be used by the individuals who value "openness to change" (representing self-direction and stimulation), and "self-enhancement"(representing achievement, power, hedonism/sensuous pleasure) than those who value "conservation" (representing safety, stability of society, conformity to rules, tradition) and "self-transcendence" (representing interest in other's well-being, and tolerance, welfare of humanity and community). The findings suggest that public library uses reflect the characteristics of major library services, such as reading and self-learning, which are very autonomous and individualistic in their nature. The findings are valuable in understanding the nature of the functions performed by the current Korean public libraries that are reflected in the personal values of Korean adult library users.

This research aimed at comprehending influence among education participants' characteristics (followership, sense of community, conscientiousness), organizational effectiveness, and investigating mediation role of communication. The results are as follows: First, followership and sense of community play an important role for communication. But conscientiousness did not affect communication. Second, communication has directly affected job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, the relation between education program characteristics and organizational effectiveness were mediated by communication. The findings of this study suggest the educational program is designed and developed based on employee's attitude of mind.

Recently in accordance with Government 3.0 policy, public data is being released in large quantities and entrepreneurs are succeeding in utilizing this policy to develop products and apps that increase the convenience of the people to use the information. As libraries belong to the public domain, libraries must open a variety of data to the public in accordance with the Government 3.0 policy, and make the various applications utilizing the data. Therefore, this study investigated the government 3.0 Policy, classified the success cases of the applications according to specific criteria, identified data having high availability from the library data, and tried to discover data that can increase the utilization value through the library from other subject areas. An awareness survey was conducted of librarians of the University and Special Library and the results are as follows: First, librarians' awareness about the Government 3.0 was more than the average of 3.6, whereas for the initiatives presented in 3.0. Second, those responding that the government 3.0 policy would have a positive effect on libraries were six times higher than those responding negatively. Third, the respondents listed the ways that the policy can be effectively utilized in the library, in order, as providing to the user public open data classified by topic, providing user education about utilizing method of public open data, and privacy-related user education regarding open data utilization. Fourth, there was overall agreement by the respondents that public open data would be helpful in improving the library's changing role and image, with 60% responding in a positive way.

도서관정책을 총괄하고 있는 문화관광부는 2월 5일 「도서관 발전 종합계획」수립계획(안)을 발표하고 금년 상반기 중 관계부처와의 협의를 거쳐 동 계획을 확정할 예정이라고 밝혔다. 이러한 계획이 수립되면 도서관 육성과 진흥에 대한 도서관계, 시민단체, 언론 등의 여망을 기반으로 각 부문에서 산발적으로 추진되어 온 도서관 진흥 정책을 종합하여 관계부처간 협력을 통해 효과적으로 추진해 나가는 계기가 될 것으로 기대된다. 그 동안 문화관광부는 1991년부터 지난해까지 도서관 건립지원에 769억원, 공공도서관의 콘텐츠 확충에 228억원(1995~2001)을 투입하는 등 도서관 육성 및 진흥을 위해 지속적으로 지원해 왔으며, 그 결과 1991년 267관이던 공공도서관이 2001년에 485관(건립중 포함)으로 2배 가까이 증가하였다. 이처럼 절대 부족한 도서관의 확충과 함께 지식정보화시대 도서관을 지식정보유통의 핵심기관으로 확성화시키고자 2000년부터 관계부처와의 역할 분담을 통해 공공 및 학교도서관 정보화기반 조성 및 도서관 소장자료의 디지털화(콘텐츠 확충) 등 '도서관정보화 종합계획'을 추진하고 있다. 계획수립은 한국문화정책개발원이 주도하여 도서관계 전문인사와 공동연구로 추진하고 자문위원단을 구성하여 계획의 기본방향 및 내용에 대한 각계의 의견을 수렴하게 되며, 문화관광부, 국립중앙도서관, 한국도서관협회 등이 지원기관으로 참여하여 정부정책으로 연계되어 그 활용성을 높이는데 주력할 계획이다. 이번 계획에서는 기본적으로 국립중앙도서관 및 공공도서관의 발전방안을 중심으로 학교 및 대학 도서관 부분에 대해서는 관계부처간 효과적인 정책협의체계 구축을 통한 정책적 지원부분에 초점을 두고 정보화 시대에 부응하는 도서관의 역할과 기능 재정립, 도서관 관종 간의 협력 프로그램 개발을 통한 도서관 운영활성화 등 도서관의 조직ㆍ기능ㆍ인력ㆍ프로그램 등의 측면에서 현황분석을 통한 문제점 도출과 개선방안을 마련, 궁극적으로는 도서관및독서진흥법 개정 등 도서관발전의 법ㆍ제도적 지원 토대를 마련할 방침이다. 한편 도서관정보화 부문에 대해서는 2003년부터 2단계 도서관정보화사업 추진을 위해 관계부처와 협력하여 현재 민간 컨설팅업체를 통해 추진중인「도서관 정보화전략계획(ISP)」을 종합계획에 반영할 계획이다. 또한 교육인적자원부를 중심으로 정부 6개 부처가 '학교도서관 활성화대책 기획단'을 구성하고 학교 및 대학도서관 발전 계획을 수립 중에 있다. 그리고 대통령자문 교육인적자원정책위원회에서 4월 3일 '도서관 정보인프라 활성화 방안'을 대통령에게 보고한 바 있다. 우리 「도서관문화」에서는 도서관 및 관련 부문의 각계 인사들에게 정부 「도서관 발전 종합계획」등 계획 수립에 바라는 바를 알아보았다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the professionalism of dental hygiene students as dental hygienists, who received education to become dental hygienists. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. Concerning the relationship of degree programs to the factors of professionalism, there were statistically significant gaps in use of the professional organization as a major reference, beliefs in service to the public and autonomy according to degree programs(p<0.001), and statistically significant gaps were found belief in self-regulation and sense of calling to the field according to degree programs(p>0.05). 2. As for connections between geographic region and the factors of professionalism, there were statistically significant differences in use of the professional organization as a major reference and sense of calling to the field(p<0.001) according to geographic region. Statistically significant gaps were found in beliefs in service to the public and autonomy(p<0.01), and there were statistically significant differences in self-control(p>0.05). 3. Concerning links between the background of the establishment of the educational system and the factors of professionalism, there were statistically significant differences in use of the professional organization as a major reference, beliefs in service to the public, sense of calling to the field and autonomy(p<0.001), and a belief in self-regulation(p<0.05). 4. In regard to the background variables of the students, there were statistically significant differences in their background variables according to bachelor's degree programs(p>0.05), and statistically significant gaps were found according to geographic region and the background of the establishment of the educational system(p<0.001).

Despite much recent researches on career development or career movement, research on domestic librarians' career development are rarely conducted. Therefore this study examined the career movement of directors of public libraries as one aspect of research for librarian workforce. This study surveyed directors of public libraries and analyzed the following points; age of first job, initial type of career, age when they became the director. Factors affecting career move, career paths, working years by career steps, the number of changing department before director, training opportunities for manager, and so on. This study also analyzed what kinds of efforts they exerted to become a director. The result showed 45.1% of respondents made an effort to increase knowledge and skills, 23.6% undertook an effort to improve their honesty and gain their integrity, 12.8% underwent an effort to increase competence and self-management efforts in about the library. Through analyzing the career development process of public library directors, we can find the ideal path for career development to become a director of public libraries.

This study aimed to examine multicultural acceptance of librarians and to investigate the factors affecting librarians' multicultural acceptance. For this, this study collected its data through a questionnaire conducted for the public librarians. The total 319 questionnaires were collected and 292 were finally analyzed. The results showed that the factors affecting the multicultural acceptance of the librarians were the experience of overseas residence, of multicultural service and of multicultural education. Based on the results, the ways to cultivate librarians' multicultural acceptance were discussed.

When the primary function of private security is to protect lives and property of clients, emergency management should be included in the security service and many countermeasure services should be carried out for that purpose. In theses contexts, private security should develop and maintain a educational program to meet their responsibilities to provide the protection and safety of the clients. Conclusionally, private security industry employers in Korea has not concerned with the importance of training and education by lack of recognition and has been passive about qualified guards. And the authorities supervising and the administrating the guards has not recognized the importance of private security and has neglected the training of the guards. In theses contexts, private security should develop and maintain a educational program of emergency management to meet their responsibilities to provide the protection and safety of the clients.
