  • Education focus on cultivating creative talent in the rapidly changing knowledge and Information society. Algorithms of computer science students to logical thinking and problem solving to find the best solution is an effective learning content. But the algorithm often educate at the University of reality when considering the level of elementary school students' cognitive structure and it is very important for teaching. In this study, based on the principle of the algorithm with an educational content for students to understand the principles of their own problems as the best way to resolve the situation with the ability to want to kidney. Content that contains elements of the game interesting for students to participate actively interested in effective teaching methods to the understanding of the principles of the algorithm will be a big help.

  • The programming(algorithm) automated assessment system is to evaluate automatically the accuracy and time/space efficiency of user's solution to the problem which is provided. This system gives the immediate feedback of the solution, real-time ranking. So, in the course of data structure and algorithm, we can apply the knowledge which we have learned to the problem solving. Especially, in the basic course of learning the syntax of the programming language, the novice student can learn in easy and fun by solving the simple problem. The university students can understand in the easy way the meaning of asymptotic analysis of algorithm in data structure & algorithm course.

An Instructional Method of Computer Algorithm Concept using Elementary Mathematics Problems (초등 수학문제를 이용한 컴퓨터 알고리즘 개념에 대한 교수방법)

  • Algorithm is a fundamental concept for all related research areas in computer science. Though many researches have paid attention to computer algorithm in solving applied problems, few researches have been conducted on how to effectively instruct the computer algorithm concept. This paper proposed the instructional method for the computer algorithm concept by using mathematics problems of the fourth grade, elementary school. We have applied our the instructional methodology to classroom, and empirically tested the effectiveness of our methodology. The results show that the effectiveness of instructional method, compared to the traditional instructional methodology.

  • This paper proposes elementary Dolittle programming problems using the algorithmic thinking-based problem model with material factors in the elementary Dolittle programming. And this paper proves the validity of developed Dolittle programming problems in defining them as algorithmic thinking-based problems through experiments. The experimental results are analyzed in views of variety and effectiveness evaluation of answer algorithms and suitability of allocating degrees of difficulties to the developed Dolittle programming problems.

  • 학습자가 수학적 지식이 정말로 가치 있고 유용한 것이라는 실감을 갖게 하기 위해서는 학습자가 학습의 주체로써 능동적인 참여 기회와 환경의 제공해야 할 것이다. 그러나 지금까지의 수학 학습은 주로 교과서에 제시된 내용과 순서에만 의존하여 교사가 자신의 관점에 근거하여 학생들을 가르치기 위해 수업을 설계하고 실행하고 평가함으로 해서 이미 만들어진 수학을 전수 받아 이를 암기하고 반복 연습하는 경우가 많았다. 특히 수학학습에서 가장 기본 ${\cdot}$ 기초가 되는 알고리즘 학습의 경우 학생들이 가지고 있는 기존의 경험이나 지식에 근거하여 그들 스스로 알고리즘을 구안 ${\cdot}$ 적용해 볼 수 있는 기회를 통해 문제를 해결하는 경험이 중요하다고 보겠다. 이런 맥락에서 본고에서는 인간의 창조적 활동의 산물인 표준화된 알고리즘을 직접적으로 도입 ${\cdot}$ 적용하기에 앞서서 학습자의 수준에서 창의적으로 알고리즘을 고안 ${\cdot}$ 활용해 볼 수 있도록 하기 위해 초등학교 수학에서 알고리즘을 지도하는 방안에 대해 알아보고자 한다

  • 본 논문은 SVM(Support Vector Machine) 학습알고리즘을 이용하여 자동차 썬루프 장치의 볼트 유무를 검사하는 자동차 부품 검사 장비에 관한 것이다. 자동화 시스템은 높은 정밀도와 생산성을 위한 빠른 처리 속도를 요구한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 선형 SVM 학습알고리즘을 활용하여 자동차 썬루프 장치의 볼트 유무를 검사하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. SVM 알고리즘은 분류를 위한 알고리즘이지만 ROI(Region-Of-Interest) 내의 모든 윈도우에 대한 분류를 수행하여 검출기 역할을 할 수 있도록 한다. 볼트가 있는 경우와 볼트가 없는 경우가 아닌 네거티브 샘플을 확보하기 위해 검출 대상 물체 주변에서 다양한 네거티브 샘플들을 추출한다. 그 결과 물체가 예상 위치에서 다소 빗나가는 경우에도 볼트 유무를 판별할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 볼트의 위치까지 검출할 수 있고, 처리 속도에서 자동화 시스템이 요구하는 수준에 도달함을 실험 결과를 통해 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 교육용 가상환경에서 학습자들에게 좀 더 효과적인 학습 효과를 주기 위해 학습 중에 보고 촬영했던 사진들을 자동으로 정리해서 사용자가 교육용 가상환경에서 체험했던 학습내용을 사진을 통해서 복습할 수 있도록 해주는 알고리즘을 소개한다. 기존의 날짜, 장소, 키워드 등의 정보를 이용하여 사진을 정리하는 알고리즘과는 달리, 본 논문에서는 사용자가 학습을 하면서 기억해야 할 중요한 내용이나 사용자의 관심도에 의해 사진 정리를 함으로써 사용자의 학습 효과를 높이는 것을 목적으로 하는 사진 정리 알고리즘을 소개한다. 이에 따라 알고리즘에서 학습적으로 중요한 사진을 뽑는 기준과 사용자의 관심도, 인지율 계산에 대해 설명하고 이 알고리즘을 기반으로 구현한 시스템을 설명한다. 또한 사용자 실험 분석을 하고 향후 연구방향에 대해 논한다.

Analysis on the Effectiveness of Algorithm Visualization System for Structured Programming Language Education (구조적 프로그램밍 언어 교육을 위한 알고리즘 시각화 시스템의 효용성 분석)

  • Programming is an area that many students have difficulty on because it requires various skills, such as problem analysis, logical thinking, and procedural problem-solving skills. In this paper, a system visualizing algorithm was used to set up algorithmic concepts easily and effectiveness of the system was analyzed through scholastic achievement test and survey after learning through this process. For evaluation, we divided students who take courses on programming language and algorithm in 3 universities into 2 groups with 6 teams in each group. The group that trained this system visualizing algorithm had scored 17.4 points higher in terms of scholastic achievement than the group that did not train such method. Moreover, according to the survey, the group had higher scores in terms of interest level, concentration level, comprehension, effectiveness, and convenience.

  • This paper presents the cyber education system which aims to improve the effect of cyber education that remains limited by uniform educational course being provided to all students. In this respect, a cyber English educational program has been provided to all individual students in different levels through combining CRM with WBI. The paper has analyzed the academic interest of each learner in the process of education using the algorithm that this paper proposes. Here the CRM algorithm enables the study to categorize the degree of learners interest in the process of education and utilize this in cyber education. The frame of education program based on the students' interest which is introduced in the paper is expected to contribute as one of the cyber education strategies that will increase the learners' academic interest.

  • Sorting algorithms are the basic building blocks that computer science students need to learn. In recent years, sorting algorithms also have begun to be taught in K-12 classrooms using "the educational sorting game" described in CSUnplugged. However, although the educational sorting game was developed for students aged 8 and up, it is hard for K-12 teachers to play with their students because it is difficult for teachers to understand all of the algorithms and some popular algorithms do not work well in the educational sorting game. In this paper, we discuss what teachers should know, and experimentally analyze the performance of the existing algorithms when applied to the educational sorting game.
