This study aims to testify the effect of reading and writing abilities improvement program for elementary school children from multicultural families. Methods: The research design used in this study was a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest research design. The participants were divided into two groups, an experimental group(n=9) and a control group(n=8). Data were analysed by using Mann-Whinety U test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks, Cohen's d with SPSS(PASW)18.0 program. Result: Significant differences were found in scores for reading ability (z=-2.668, p=.008, ES(d)=0.6) and writing ability (z=-2.670, p=.008, ES(d)=0.5) in experimental group. Conclusion: The results indicate that the reading and writing abilities improvement program should be used with elementary school children of multicultural families to help them and to improve their reading and writing abilities.

This study suggested speech generation device(SGD) program to materialize the proper communication aids which address to language abilities by students with cerebral palsy in the stage of word recognition achievement. This SGD program aim at function of learning mediation and communication expression by synchronization not restrict aim of AAC aids' employment to the only function of communication expression. And this SGD was designed to evaluate language abilities of student with cerebral palsy through analysis of the date offered at this program, and then might utilize to set learning goals and objects, modify teaching contents. This SGD program have a meaning on contribution to possible teaching the user AAC aids, students with cerebral palsy by whole language approach in natural environment but in artificial situation at script.

The effort to generate new values in this age of digital technology characterized by rapid changes in information and knowledge demands transformations not only in the sociocultural and educational spheres but also specifically in the field of arts and culture education. One of the greatest transformations is emphasis on integration and consilience among different fields which has impacted the field of arts and culture, giving birth to the practice of arts and culture education. Digital technology actively utilizes in lots of subjects, which, also becomes a challenging factor for the field of arts and culture education. In this context, this study theoretically considered to approach music technology to use for the field of arts and culture education. Utilization of music technology takes interdisciplinary approaches combining various subjects in the field of arts and culture education. Considering the current circumstances in which there is a lack of teaching and learning methodologies which reflect the unique, specialized nature and the intrinsic originality of the field of arts and culture education. It is deemed that by accumulating more case studies applying music technology in practice to a wider variety of targets and situations. Music technology will serve the role of an important a learning tool for the arts and culture education field.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of flipped learning lesson on the human social behavior and social environment subject. In order to achieve this object, this study conducted qualitative analysis of class-evaluation and self-evaluation and quantitative analysis using the questionnaire. As a result, it was confirmed that flipped learning method works very effectively in the theoretical curriculum of social welfare. Participants assessed that their comprehension and presentation skills improved. In addition, their self-esteem improved after this class. However, this teaching may be rather negative for participants who had difficulties in pre-learning or a passive attitude. In order to improve this problems, the instructors should be prepared to make pre-learning better. As well as, they should prepare countermeasures for passive participants, and help interact well among the participants.

There is increasing interest in text analysis based on unstructured data such as articles and comments, questions and answers. This is because they can be used to identify, evaluate, predict, and recommend features from unstructured text data, which is the opinion of people. The same holds true for TEL, where the MOOC service has evolved to automate debating, questioning and answering services based on the teaching-learning support system in order to generate question topics and to automatically classify the topics relevant to new questions based on question and answer data accumulated in the system. Therefore, in this study, we propose topic modeling using LDA to automatically classify new query topics. The proposed method enables the generation of a dictionary of question topics and the automatic classification of topics relevant to new questions. Experimentation showed high automatic classification of over 0.7 in some queries. The more new queries were included in the various topics, the better the automatic classification results.

This research investigates how pre-service music teachers demonstrated pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and self-efficacy during a 16-week Music Education Course. 37 pre-service music teachers underwent peer mentoring, and prepared teaching guides and class teaching demonstrations. At the end of the course, the 37 participants' teacher self-efficacy and PCK components (namely pedagogical knowledge, representational knowledge, subject matter knowledge, assessment knowledge, student characteristics knowledge, curriculum knowledge, and context and social knowledge) were assessed. Data on their self-efficacy and PCK were gathered through a group interview and their self-reflection journals, and analyzed as phenomenological experience research. Analyses of the data show that pre-service music teachers acquired diverse knowledge. It also showed that peer mentoring enhanced the pre-service music teachers' self-efficacy, enabling them to prepare teaching guides and confidently demonstrate classes. Thus, diverse opportunities in research and practical class demonstrations contributed to pre-service music teachers' PCK and self-efficacy.

Today's elementary schools emphasize practice- and learner-based computer courses. In this research, we found solutions to the above issues by adapting a demonstration/practice teaching method led by multiple teaching assistants, expanding lessons tailored to each student's own level. We chose fourth graders from three classes at Elementary School as the subject for this research. Through this research, we have analyzed the students' study results, self-efficacy, response and interest in the computer courses by examining three groups of students: the first group led by a teacher's demonstration and practice, the second group by a teaching assistant's demonstration and practice, and the last by multiple teaching assistants' demonstration and practice. As a result, we were able to show that a computer course taught by multiple teaching assistants will help not only induce an interest and motive for a mutual learning environment among the students, but also bring positive effects on the study results and self-efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of blended learning approach on academic achievement and self directed learning skills of nursing undergraduate students. This experimental study is designed for a nonequivalent control group. The number of subjects in this research consists of 145, where 75 of the experimental group participated in blended learning program and 70 of the control group didn't do. The data was analyzed by $x^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and paired t-test. The effects of blended learning approach on learning outcomes in women's health nursing are as follows : The academic achievement of the experimental group has been more elevated than that of the control group on final examination. The experimental group has made increase in self directed learning skills. The blended learning approach on learning outcomes in nursing major are effective. This study has significant implication in that it identified the availability of the blended learning program and that it would be a useful teaching and learning method to achieve learning outcomes.

Due to the recent changes in the education market and Corona, Consumers have moved to the tutoring and online learning markets, and the large-scale education service franchise business is reorganized into a small-scale franchise, a business model that maximizes the profit structure from a position where sales are important. Recently, a new learning balance model that can provide individualized services from teacher-centered to student-centered, motivate students is required. In this paper, we propose a new mathematical franchise model (K-MODEL) that can improve a company's profit structure while satisfying the recent education trends and consumer needs from the point of view of the franchise. K-MODEL expects franchisor and franchisees to have a stable profit structure by developing differentiated content and services, learning and operating processes, and various programs to improve learning achievement.

The purpose of this study is to develop and apply the web contents about the optical characteristics of rock forming minerals. The web contents developed in this study are fundamentally made up so as to show clearly the learning objective and the teaching and learning contents, and to review one content easily and search for another content freely. In addition to the web contents, the photos and moving images of the optical characteristics of rock forming minerals cited in the middle and high school textbooks are demonstrated for the students to recognize the mineral characteristics on the screen. The analysis on the quality level and teaming effect of teaching and teaming materials based on the investigation of the MALSAM after the application of the web contents to the class, showed that most students evaluated were effective for understanding the optical characteristics of the rock-forming minerals. About 62% of the students who used the web contents were able to identify the rock-forming minerals on the thin section under the polarizing microscope.
