Analysis on the Websites of College's Teaching and Learning Center of Quality (전문대학 우수교수학습센터의 홈페이지 분석)

  • This study analyzed the websites of domestic college's Teaching and Learning Center of Quality. The title of "Teaching and Learning Center of Quality" was given to 9 colleges selected for 3 years since 2010 by Korean Council for College Education. The websites mostly consist of introduction, teaching support, learning support, e-learning support, service, media support, resources, community, and so on. This study also analyzes the similarities and differences of the websites by the degree of the webpage menu activation. This study suggests the direction of the websites functions which college's Teaching and Learning Center should have.

  • This study analyzed on web services status of World Class College(WCC)'s Teaching and Learning Center. WCC refers to colleges equipped with educational environment which can accommodate the needs of industry and growth potential and vision. Web services of WCC's Teaching and Learning Center consist of center introduction, teaching support, learning support, service, and specialized menu. This study analyzed on menu and specialized web services from 9 colleges out of total 21 colleges. This study is to propose a way of Teaching and Learning Center's web services which college's Teaching and Learning Center aims at by analyzing on web services of World Class College's teaching and learning center.

  • In this study, we analyzed student satisfaction and effectiveness regarding the Center for Teaching and Learning Support where students are using educational information. Based on the analysis, the purpose of this study was to identify the requirements for the improvement to enhance the educational support by the Center for Teaching and Learning Support. As a result, it was shown that satisfaction and effectiveness as well as requirement for improvement were different depending on school level. Therefore, it is necessary for the Center to enhance the services appropriate for each school level rather than unified services. In other words, the improvement is required to enhance the fun and interesting aspects for elementary and middle school students, and the effort is required to enhance the quality aspect of information for high school students when educational information is provided.

Exploring on the job competence of the staff in center for teaching and learning (교수학습지원센터 실무자의 직무역량 탐색)

  • This study examined the job competence of the staff at the center for teaching and learning(CTL) in university and to find out the level of job competence, which has been asked to the staff of the CTL. For that, the factor of the job competence, which is required of the staff of the CTL, was inquired through a literature review. Based on the job competence, this study examined the required job competence of the staff in Daejeon city and Chungnam province. The result suggests that the job competence required of staff are the basic job competence, planning-analysis job competence, management job competence for the project, and evaluation job competence. The first factor in basic job competence is the attitude to change and innovation. In the planning-analysis job competence, the first factor is an analysis and consultation of instruction. In managing the job competence for the project, the first factor is the management of human resources, and the first factor in evaluating the job competence is an evaluation of the effectiveness of the media. Therefore, to revitalize the CTL, there is a need to organize an expert pool, plan and support program that is suitable for professional development.

  • 최근 초고속 통신망과 같은 우리나라의 발달된 인터넷 인프라를 활용할 수 있는 e-Learning 콘텐츠 활발히 개발되고 있다. 본 논문은 기존에 개발된 콘텐츠와 평가를 포함한 교수,학습 활동 계획을 관리할 수 있는 ICT 교육 통합 지원 시스템을 구성하는 서브시스템 중 교수,학습 콘텐츠 관리 시스템을 설계, 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 이미 개발되고 중앙교수학습센터 및 시,도 교수학습 지원센터 등에서 제공되고 공유되는 학습자료를 활용하기 위해 KERIS 등에서 제시한 표준을 본 시스템의 설계에 반영하였다. 교수,학습 콘텐츠 관리 모듈은 학습객체를 분류 저장 데이터베이스화 하였으며 실제 활용이 매우 쉬어 특별한 훈련이나 교육을 받지 않아도 기초적인 수준의 PC 활용 능력만 있다면 누구나 쉽게 교수,학습 콘텐츠를 수집하여 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 시스템은 기 개발된 학습객체의 재사용으로 인한 효율성 증가는 물론 교과, 단원 학습 주제별로 구조화하여 저장 관리하여 교사의 교수활동 준비 시간을 줄임으로써 실제 학교 현장에서 활용하여 ICT 활용 교수,학습 활동 개선에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

An analysis of the Digital Reference Services of Teaching & Learning Aid Centers under the Metropolitan City and Provincial Offices of Education in Korea (국내 광역시.도 교육청 교수학습지원센터의 디지털참고봉사 제공과 이용 현황 분석)

  • Examinations and analysis were done to understand the digital reference services of the Teaching & Learning Aid Centers under 16 metropolitan city and provincial offices of education. The data used were collected from July 3. 2006 to July 15. 2006 by the direct contacts on their main homepages and recording the question and answer transcripts. It was proven that 13 of the 16 Teaching & Learning Aid Centers have done the reference services. In this study, several characteristics-whether the digital reference service was done or not, interface access level, its title, its communication tool, reference question number, reference question style, answer rate, etc-were analyzed. Tips for the future development were provided on the basis of the inadequacies and other findings revealed through this study.

  • The purpose of this study is suggesting the direction for improving web accessibility by analyzing the state of abiding by the web accessibility by the centers for teaching and learning support at the education offices in cities and provinces which provide the learning and teaching materials to the K-12 members and the interested people. For this aim, nine centers for teaching and learning support were evaluated. The primary manual evaluation by two experts and the evaluation by 18 users were conducted. The users were comprised of hearing-impaired people, visually-impaired people, brain-disabled people, the elderly, various browser users, and a variety of operating system users. As a result of the analysis, not a single center for teaching and learning support had conformed to web accessibility in the expert evaluation and the user evaluation. As a result of the expert evaluation, the errors regarding web design improvement, HTML source error correction, and provision of alternative measures for the disabled were found. This study is meaningful in the sense that it provided various discussions with regard to the direction of the future web accessibility evaluation based on the improved web accessibility evaluation method.

  • 교수학습센터는 교원의 전문성 향상과 교육정보화 기반 학교 교육 혁신을 실천하기 위한 중요한 목표를 수행하고 있다. 국내에는 대학에서부터 초등학교에 이르기까지 다양한 교수학습센터가 설치 운영되고 있다. 대상은 국가차원의 초중등 교육의 교수학습을 지원하는 중앙단위의 교수학습센터이다. 본 연구에서는 교수학습센터의 성과를 효과적이고 효율적으로 평가할 수 있는 성과 분석 모형 개발에 앞서 여러 성과평가모형의 이론 및 실천적 탐색을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 교수학습센터의 성과평가에 관련된 이론적 관점과 실천적 관점의 모형탐색을 살펴볼 수 있을 것이며, 이를 통해 모형 개발과 성과 평가를 위한 실천 전략을 수립하는데 기여할 것이다.

Analysis of Librarians' Perception of Teaching and Learning Support Services of Academic Libraries (대학도서관 교수·학습지원 서비스에 대한 사서 인식분석)

  • This study analyzed the respective teaching and learning-related services offered by the Centers for Teaching and Learning and the academic libraries to find the proper roles of libraries regarding this type of service. We interviewed librarians to collect the data. The content analysis of the qualitative interview data enabled us to identify the librarians' perceptions of teaching and learning support, service provision method, strengthening relationships with other academic units, recognition of libraries' roles within the universities, and generating more investment for the libraries. Finally, the analysis led to six suggestions for libraries' teaching and learning support functions, such as advertising the availability of specific academic discipline or unit-oriented library services, strengthening librarian's capabilities as educators, bolstering digital information literacy of the faculty members and students, injecting libraries' views into the development and maintaining fundamental knowledge-related programs, emphasizing the notion of human-centered libraries, and finding new ways to utilize library space.
