This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of the mathematics teacher's training program: whether the training program is effective to improve mathematics teachers' professional competency of the developing assessment instrument (including items) or not. The teachers who were attendee of the program did pre-test before the program and post-test after the program. They wrote the opinions on the pre-developed items which had many errors in the beginning and discussed their opinions each others in the middle of program. The differences between pre-test and post-test and between opinions in the beginning and in the middle were analysed. The first result of the study is that the teacher's professional competency which is evaluated as self-perceived points is improved with regard to understanding the standardized test, item difficulty and item discrimination. Secondly, the proportion of the opinion with concrete reasons is increased as the program progressed. Thirdly, the effective elements of the program are the discussion in the group, discussion between groups, and feedback from the instructor. But the ineffective element of the program is the insufficient time for practicing.

This study was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of an in-service training programusing computer interface and probes for science odified by 9 science teachers Then,27 science teachers participated in the 5 days of in-service training, which ran for three hours a day. The questionnaire for investigating the effectiveness of the program after the training showed that many teachers (1 ) voluntarily participated in this program with internal motivation,(2) were satished with the level of program difficulty, professionalism of lecturer, and classroom environment,(3) gave positive responses about the achievement of the purposes of this program,(4) showed strong intention for applying this program to their school teaching.

This study analyzed the effectiveness of the forest education program for teacher training. The training program was conducted at the National Center for Forest Activities, in Hoengseong, Korea in August 2017. Presurveys and postsurveys were administered to 46, K-12 teachers who participated in the forest education program. The results showed a statistically significant increase in the teachers' environmental sensitivity, eco-friendly teaching attitude, and teacher efficacy after the program. Survey participants expressed a slightly lower confidence in terms of teacher efficacy after participating in the program. This confirms the need for a training program with a focus on practical teaching skills, which would help teachers become more confident in providing forest education. This study verifies the effectiveness of the forest education program for teachers, who play an important role in developing students' environmental sensitivity and eco-friendly attitude. Furthermore, it suggests the need to develop more effective forest education programs for teacher training.

In this study, we carried out mathematics teacher-training course. The topic of this training course is the understanding of content area reading in school mathematics. The teacher-training course is planned to guide mathematics teachers can perform effectively the teaching of content area reading. In particular, we illustrated the pre-service mathematics teacher education practice. Mathematics teachers investigated various teaching strategies that can lead their students read reading materials related to mathematics effectively. In this training courses, teachers reflects on their own experience and they have an opportunity to learn the new strategies that improve their teaching methods. Teacher educator and in-service teachers share and discuss their practices, they have a meaningful learning experiences. In this study, we presented the processes of the teacher-training course and the results of practice. Furthermore, on the basis of the limitations of this study, we suggested recommendations for the future teacher training program.

이 연구는 한국천문연구원에서 진행한 2019 하계 교원천문연수의 초급·중급과정 교육 프로그램에 대한 교사들의 인식 조사 및 개선방안을 찾는데 목적을 두었다. 교육청에서 인정한 직무연수프로그램인 2019 하계 교원천문연수는 현대 천문학의 동향과 지식을 일선 학교에 전달하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다. 이 연수는 초등교원을 주대상으로 한 초급과정은 2019년 8월 5일부터 7일까지, 중등교원을 주대상으로한 중급과정은 8월 7일부터 9일까지의 일정을 두고 실시되었다. 본 연구는 각각의 교육 과정이 교원 직무연수프로그램의 교육 목표를 충분히 따르고 있는지를 알아보자 사전, 사후조사 설문지를 개발하여 초급과정과 중급과정에서 각각 30여명, 20여명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이때 사전조사 설문지는 기본 인적정보, 연수 참여 동기, 천문 관측 활동 경험 여부에 관한 것으로 10문항이, 사후조사 설문지는 교수 학습 프로그램의 내용면에서 지적 및 정의적 만족도, 진로지도 유용성, 향후 수업 활용성, 개선사항에 관한 것으로 20문항이 개발되었다. 설문조사 결과가 도출 된다면, 본 직무연수프로그램이 내용적인 면에서 교사들의 천문학에 대한 지적·정의적 향상 및 향후 일선 학교에서의 프로그램 보급 활용성을 높이기 위해 어떻게 수정·보완해야할지 개선점을 제시해 줄 것으로 기대된다.

Learning progression is an advantageous way to describe the development of learner understanding about a topic. In the present study, learning progression is introduced to characterize novice teachers' professional knowledge and competence and to help designing teacher professional development programs in the developmental approach. The development and validation phases of learning progression are proposed in the paper. In addition a case study is presented to demonstrate the process of developing a learning progression for teaching-through-inquiry using ICT. The learning progression in novice teacher professional development can be used to assess the level of teacher understanding in specific topic and to effectively support the development of teachers' professional knowledge and competence via professional development programs in the longitudinal view.

Teacher reeducation is required to be comfortable with the 'Integrated science' subject as introduced in the 2015 revised curriculum. In this research, we designed in-service teacher training programs according to the types of secondary school science teacher's certificates, and developed ways to improve in-service science teachers' competencies. Through Delphi surveys with 22 science education experts, we investigated the features of the 2015 revised 'Integrated science' curriculum in light of its characteristics, purposes, contents system, contents, and so on, and explored teachers' competencies to teach the subject. Based on the analysis of the features of each type of secondary school science teachers' certification and required teacher competencies for teaching 'Integrated science', we developed three types of teacher training programs: in-service training courses for understanding the 2015 revised 'Integrated science' (Type A), in-service training courses for 'Integrated science' (Type B), and in-service teacher training certificate program for 'Integrated science' (Type C). For each teacher training program, we suggested the target of the training program in light of teacher certificates, operation systems, and ways to organize the program. In addition, we also suggested ways to improve 'Integrated science' teacher education programs for pre-service as well as in-service teachers, and examined ways to improve educational requirements for qualification in 'Integrated science' teaching based on the opinions of experts. Discussed in the conclusion are ways to design in-service teacher training programs for 'Integrated science' teaching and ways to improve 'Integrated science' teacher training.

This paper aims to identify factors to elevate the effectiveness of a high school mathematics teacher's training program focused on the construction of test items, and to make a blueprint for the training program development of high school mathematics teachers. This study created and executed a teacher's training program, and then twice applied focus group interviews with the teachers who participated in the program. As a result, this study identifies four factors that elevate the effectiveness of a high school mathematics teacher's training program focused on the construction of test items: the structure of the training program that allows teachers to concentrate on constructing test items, the recognition and revision of their habits related to the construction of test items, the formation of a consensus among the participants, and self-reflection on the teachers' specialties in the construction of the test items.

4차 산업혁명의 특징 중 하나는 생산과 소비의 결합이다. 이제는 소비자가 직접 구매할 물건의 생산에 관여하고, 직접 필요한 물건을 생산한다. 이는 다양한 제작도구들이 보편화되면서 가능해졌다. 이런 흐름으로 세계적으로 메이커 운동, 메이커 교육이 주목받고 있다. 메이커들은 실생활의 문제를 해결하기 위해 창의적인 문제해결 방법을 활용하여 무언가를 만들고 공유한다. 이런 공유문화는 메이커들의 축제인 메이커 페어에서 쉽게 확인할 수 있다. 창의적인 메이커를 교육을 통해 길러내야 될 필요성을 공감하고 있으며, 메이커 교육을 학교 현장에 적용하기 위한 방법으로는 디자인 사고가 있다. 디자인 사고 프로세스는 실제 제품을 사용할 소비자에게 공감하여 이해한 뒤, 다양한 대안을 찾는 확산적 사고, 주어진 상황에서 최선의 방법을 찾는 수렴적 사고의 반복을 통해 결과물을 도출하는 창의적 문제해결 방법이다. 현재 온라인과 오프라인 상에서 다양한 메이커 교육이 이뤄지고 있다. 이를 학교에 도입하여 학생들을 가르치기 위해서는 교사의 역량이 중요하다. 아무리 좋은 교육이라도 교사들이 모른다면 학생들을 가르칠 수 없기 때문에 메이커 교육을 학교 현장에 투입하기 위해서는 메이커 교육을 위한 교사 연수 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 디자인 사고 기반 메이커교육을 위한 초등교사 연수프로그램을 개발하고자 한다.

This study was conducted as a preparation for the operation of 2007 revised curriculum and an effort towards professional development for Home Economics teachers in clothing life culture area. The aim of this study was to develop an teacher training program based on the clothing life culture in three kingdoms period, apply it to teacher training, and evaluate the program by analyzing the purpose of participation, trainee expectation and gratification, change of recognition level about Han culture, trainee satisfaction, and willingness to apply to teaching and attend further training program. The characteristic of the training program was that it consisted of both highly qualified lectures on professional contents and practices with school classroom level, and it dealt with the ancient korean clothing as its central subject. The purpose of the training program was to elevate the recognition of Han culture and increase the possibility of application in the classroom situation. It showed that the trainees participated with high intrinsic motivations, aiming to improve their professionalism in subject content and expecting various subject content. It also showed that the trainee gratification was very high in professional knowledge of clothing culture area, and the trainees were gratified in most evaluation items. As to the recognition level of korean culture, even before the training program, it was generally higher than average. After the program, it increased meaningfully. Through the training program, the trainees became feel prouder of Han culture and people and themselves as Home economics teachers. The contents of the program were considered very helpful for the improvement of professionalism and the design of instruction and learning activity. It was revealed that Home Economics teachers had very high expectations of the development of instruction-learning models which could enable them to experience new and interesting ideas, help enhance their professionalism, and be applied to their teaching. Therefore, continuous development and operation of the teacher training program relating to the life culture such as clothing, food, and housing life are needed.
