This paper presents exact autotransformer-fed AC electric railroad system modeling using constant current mode. The theory is based on the solution of algebraic. The proposed modeling is considered the line self-impedances and mutual-impedances. Besides, the load modeling improved results are obtained as application to the proposed constant current mode. In the analysis on AT-fed AC electric railroad system circuit, a generalized analysis method using the loop equation on a case by case. the simulation objectives are to calculate the catenary and rail voltages with respect to ground, as the train moves along a section of line between two adjacent ATs. The model contains assumptions regarding the representation of the autotransformer, the impedance of the track/catenary system, and the grounding arrangements, which all effect the accuracy of the result. The modeling results seem very reasonable. It is established that techniques for the AC electric railroad system modeling and analysis.
제안된 알고리즘의 내용은 블록킹 필터와 PLC(Power Line Carrier)의 사용에 의해서이다.
In three-phase power, when the power is supplied to the single phase load, there is the unbalance of load in the three-phase power. So the scott transformer is used in the power system to supply a single phase load in three-phase power without the unbalance of loads. Especially, the scott transformer is used in the AC substation of electric railroad. Two single phase transformers are combined by T-wiring in the scott transformer. So, two single phase voltage is provided by differing $90^{\circ}$ phase in three-phase power. The selection of related equipment and correction of protective relay are not easy from characteristic of the scott transformer when shunt and ground faults occur. PSIM(Power Electronics Simulator) is optimal simulation software in field of the power electronics and provide the simple and convenient user interface. In this paper, electric model of the scott transformer is suggested and the current of the scott transformer in shunt and ground faults is analyzed. Also, the scott transformer model is demonstrated by using PSIM.
This paper describes the development of integrated simulator with GUI(Graphic User Interface) for traction power supply system. This simulator consists of a lot of calculation modules such as TPS, train time schedule, line constant, and power supply system analysis. Each module has input and output structure respectively. The algorithms of all modules have confirmed the validity to comparison with field test that is performed on both high speed railway line and conventional line.
This paper presents a new power flow method to analyze the AC electric railway system effectively in both cases of traction and regenerative braking of the trains. The algorithm to easily solve the power flow of the AC electric railway system with the trains of regenerative braking from the system without a train of regenerative braking is derived. Using this new power flow method, the voltage characteristics of a typical AC electric railway system is easily analyzed in both cases of traction and regenerative braking of the trains. We show that the presented method can be applied effectively in order to analyze the AT-fed AC electric railway system in both cases of traction and regenerative braking of the trains. A STATCOM(Static Synchronous Compensator) is applied to the system in order to improve the voltage drop problem and this case is also analyzed to show the effect of STATCOM.
The electrified railway has various power supply schemes. Although the identical trains are operated in same condition and the impedance of track are equal, the genealogy impedance of track is changed according to composition method of feeding scheme. So, the collection voltage of train and supplying power from railway substation are greatly unlike. For simulation of collection voltage and power supply according to feeding scheme, using 6-port network analysis proposed previously simulate collection voltage and supply power according to feeding scheme(Parallel Post feeding system, normal feeding system and tie feeding system) and compare and investigate each characteristics.
This paper analyze scenario of feeder wire fault that occurs in the AC feeding system considering train position. The fault location of AC feeding system is calculated by measuring impedance. However, in this way, estimation error can be occurred because of tie connection, boosting current, etc. Therefore, it's hard to find fault location, so that it is required to detailed circuit analysis according to fault location. We analyze the short circuit impedance values with respect to feeder wire fault according to a train position. In this paper, PSCAD is used for modeling and analysis of AC railway feeding system.
