Data were collected from March 23 to 30, 2015, and analyzed by the t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and multiple regression. It was found that there were significant differences in the ego-resilience depending on the gender, satisfaction with nursing major and relationships among fellow students during clinical practice. There was a significant positive correlation between ego-resilience and communication skills. The meaningful variables which influence the ego-resilience were communication skills, satisfaction with nursing major, relationships among fellow students during clinical practice and gender. These factors were responsible for 38.9% of the total variance in the ego-resilience of the nursing students, and communication skills were the most influential factor. In conclusion, to increase the ego-resilience of nursing students, it is necessary to develop effective communication training programs and strategies to improve their satisfaction with the nursing major and relationships among fellow students during clinical practice.
The National College of Art. Craft and Design of Sweden founded in 1811 is one of the oldest schools in the world and has taken very important role in the development of Scandinavian design This college usually called "Konstfack" in Sweden was transformed under the influence of Bauhaus into a modern design institute and the experiment:li curriculum and its unique teaching system was completed in the middle of 70' s The phrase "Insight och Flit" in the emblem of this school shows the Konslfack spirit which stresses the creative insight and endless diligence Korea is much different from Sweden in cultural aspects as well as in political and economic ones. In the later half of 19th century Sweden was one of the undeveloped countries in Europe and she just entered the Industrial Hevolution. Swedish culture at the time was also the barbarian one in comparison with English and Frech cultures. Even she had the difficulty in founding her own cultural identity So the Swedish intellectuals in early 20th century tried to find out "What is Swedish\ulcorner" and as the result they produced the Swedish Modern Movement style in 1950's. In this process Konstfack as well as the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design and the Svensk Form. the design magazine. has played the leading role. To look over the history and educational system of this school will be helpful for our design education. will be helpful for our design education.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the questions of earth science knowledge presented in elementary science textbooks. In group activities, The questions were created by preservice elementary teachers assuming that they were teaching the earth science knowledge in science education classes at university of education. Types, frequencies, and sources of the cognitive background knowledge of the questions were analyzed. The results demonstrated the followings. First, types, concentrations, and sources of the cognitive background knowledge of the questions were different depending on the domains of earth science. Specifically, in astronomy domain, the frequencies and concentrations of the questions showed different trends compared with other domains in its individual lessons. It suggests that instructional strategies that reflected the difference found in each lessons be appropriately designed and used. Second, it was found that 'schools' was the most dominant sources of the cognitive background. 'Friends' were also found to be very important sources, thus promoting students' interaction with their peers would become an important strategy in science teaching. It was also found that mass media such as 'internet' and 'TV' were roughly rated the same as 'schools' which illustrated that mass media could be utilized in science instruction. Third, since types, concentrations, and frequencies of the questions were diverse in the lessons of units, it is suggested that diverse instruction strategies also be taken into account as an educational approach in teaching the subjects in teacher education.

Changes are expected in the future, and the future society will expect changes in education. Science curriculum needs to reflect such demands for changes in the future of education. Hence, this study explored ways to reflect the changes demanded by the future society in science education. In this study, we investigated the major issues and directions for improvements based on the findings from questionnaires given to 447 primary and secondary school science teachers as well as in-depth interviews with 12 experts. We explored the problems of the 2009 revised national science curriculum including organization of science elective courses, fusion 'science' as an elective course, intensive course-taking of science, career-focused science curriculum, variation of completion units in science elective courses, and fairness of science elective course selection in college entrance. In addition, we proposed ways to organize science curriculum around core competencies and STEAM education suggested by science teachers. According to the results, we need to add such key competencies as basic learning abilities, self-identity, and moral competencies to science curriculum in addition to existing key competencies including problem solving and communication. Regarding the fusion science, experts contended that convergence of science courses should come before that of science and other subjects, and that STEAM with science as the axis was the desired form of convergence. We also need to establish a curriculum development center that exclusively focuses on science curriculum research and development.
This research is how students and teacher apprehend mathematics education, pointing out problem areas as a basis on how to improve students understanding of mathematics through improved guidance by teachers in the future. 1107 high school students and 105 teachers from around Daejeon and Choongnam province were surveyed and the results were as follows. 1. 77 %( 852) of students viewed the "application of problem solving methods" as understanding mathematic problems. 2. Replies to the question on understanding the study of mathematics resulted in 85.7% of teachers saying "it is the understanding of the basic concept to which you solve the problems" 3. For questions relating to the large difference in-class mathematics achievements and mock University entrance exam achievements, students' response that "for in-class tests you only have to learn problems with similar form but the mock tests are not like that" pointed out the problem in the area of mathematics education. 4. For future mathematic education teachers will have to "explain better and more completely the basic principles and concepts before solving problems" , and make an effort to stimulate students by "creating a more fun atmosphere" . There will also be the need to prevent as much as possible, the use of "formula or memory driven problems" and encourage students to initiate problem solving for themselves.; and encourage students to initiate problem solving for themselves.

The purpose of this study is to find out the measures to improve the curriculums of the specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration through estimating whether they have satisfied the purpose of the aids and analyzing the related factors. Among specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration, 49 technical high schools which comprised the largest proportion were chosen as subjects for this study. Among the 49 subjects, 57.1%(28 schools) are reported to be suitable, 36.7%(18 schools) so-so, and 6.2%(3 schools) unsuitable for the curriculums. The curriculums of specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration were mostly associated with the local strategic business. However, many of them implemented the pre-existed curriculums because they didn't reflect the job analysis of the business properly. To establish more effective curriculums of the specialized vocational high schools aided by Small and Medium Business Administration, most of all, guides for them should be prepared in its level. Also, midium and long-term development plans of school departments should be made to reorganize the current departments which hinder the specialization in curriculums by government or offices of education. The aim of this study was to investigate middle school students' perceptions of dietary education in Technology-Home Economics classes. Out of the 444 survey respondents of 3rd grade middle school students in Gyeonggi area, 78.1% of them appeared to have obtained knowledge and information on diet and nutrition primarily from the dietary education delivered in Technology-Home Economics classes. Specifically, 62.6% stated "The current dietary education was useful." and 67.3% said "School dietary education was necessary." However, 88.7% was not even aware of the current Dietary Education Support Act, which was enacted in 2009. On the basis of the 28 subject categories in dietary education, in general, the more interested students were in a specific subject, the more actively they applied their knowledge of that subjects in real situations. In all categories, female students had a greater degree of interest and were more likely to apply that know lodge than male students. Among the 28 subjects, they had greatest interest in 'Dining Manners and Etiquette' and 'Nutrition and Meals for Adolescents' while they expressed relatively little interest in the subject of 'Cooking and Culinary Education'. Their perception of the necessity of dietary education was most highly influenced by their interest in the subject 'Nutrition and Meals for Adolescents', which was followed by gender difference and 'Dining Manners and Etiquette' as the most influential subjects.
