The Content Analysis of the Energy and Transportation Technology Domain about Technology.Home Economics textbook of the 7th National Curriculum (제 7차 교육과정 기술.가정 교과서의 '에너지와 수송기술' 단원 내용 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the Energy and Transportation Technology Domain about Technology Home Economics textbook Contents of the 7th National Curriculum. 'Jackson's Mill Industrial Arts Curriculum Theory' was used for the content analysis criteria. The results of the study are as follows: First, the sub-systems 'input' and 'process' in contents of the textbooks was represented frequently. However, the 'output', the main contents in transportation technology, was not represented. Second, components of the knowledge, materials, energy and Capital are included in Inputs system. The highest frequency and intensity of the energy and materials were showed. Third, the frequency of the Productive Processes that showed the most. The highest frequency and intensity of Transporting/Moving in Productive Processes were showed. The rest of systems that require the ratio of the intensity values do not meet.

A Study on Objective and Content Domains of Marine Education in the Fish and Marine High School (수산·해운계 고등학교 해양교육의 목표영역과 내용영역에 관한 연구)

  • In this research, there was an investigation about the objective and content domains concerning marine education in the Fish and Marine High School. Also, validity and guidance level on the classification were analyzed. According to the analysis, analyzing guidance level of Marine related contents which are included in school marine education is as follows. There are 971 information and knowledge domains, 710 skill domains, 5 value and attitude domains and 8 behavior and participation domains in the objective domain in school marine education. The number of the knowledge domains was most while attitude domains was least. Content domain of school marine education consists of 774 ocean human and marine ecology domains, 461 artificial marine environment and facility domains, 290 marine resource domains, 76 marine pollution domains, 123 marine conservation and measure domains. So, ocean human and marine ecology domains were most while ethics of marine conservation domains were not included.

  • 현재의 정보통신기술교육은 정보 활용적인 측면과 다른 교과에 대한 도구적인 성격이 짙다. 정보통신기술교육에 새로운 활력을 불어넣기 위하여 ACM과 IEEE의 공동보고서인 Computing Curricula 2003을 통하여 컴퓨터 교과에 대한 관점을 조명해 볼 필요가 있다. 컴퓨터 과학에 대한 내용학적인 접근을 통하여 교과에 대한 정체성이 확립되는 밑거름이 될 수 있다. 미래 사회의 주역인 학생들의 정보화 마인드 형성을 위하여 정보교육은 내용선정부터 체계적으로 시도되어져야 한다. 여러 분야 중에서도 컴퓨터 구조교육의 내용을 단순화, 정교화시키는 과정을 통해 정보에 쉽게 접근할 수 있고, 정보적인 사고가 가능할 수 있도록 프로토타입(Prototype)을 구성하고자 한다. 기존의 구조교육의 형태와 내용을 분석하여 학습 내용을 선정하여 요소를 추출하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • Textbook is a tool that helps achieve the learning objectives based on the content of the curriculum. The contents of the textbook will be constructed newly because revised curriculum 2015 was announced. The aim at this study is to provide an indication of the textbook writing. To achieve the objectives, we conducted a pilot study in order to analyze the content of the textbook of informatics currently being used in middle schools and to derive the direction of access to the newly configured physical computing unit. Analysis of content elements was used Romey. The pilot studied makes lesson harmonized with H/W and S/W by utilizing the robot. According to the results of the analysis, there is one textbook among the currently used textbooks that is suitable to help students develop their thinking and in the case of physical computing unit, inquiry instruction showed positive results. This study suggestions necessity of writing types that sets importance on activities in the form of textbook.

  • This study aims to review and analyze the contents related to environment among curriculum of Technology$.$Home Economics subject; to produce multimedia learning materials and web-based materials for effective environmental education: and to find the way to effectively utilize them in schools. The data were analyzed by t-test with SPSS Win 10.0 program. The results of this study are as follows; First, the textbook carries a lot of contents concerning the environment. Second, the multimedia materials help students to understand environmental issues and strengthen their attitudes of environmental problems very effectively. Third, after using the instructional multimedia materials, the students showed significantly different results.

4D AI Convergence Education Model (4차원 인공지능 융합 교육 모형)

  • In this study, a model that can converge with artificial intelligence in each subject as software and artificial intelligence education become mandatory in the curriculum revised in 2022 is proposed. The proposed AI convergence education model is based on the content of the subject (accomplishment standard + subject). The second axis is artificial intelligence tools, the third axis is artificial intelligence technology, and the fourth axis is data applied in daily life. In order to apply artificial intelligence to each subject, it is necessary to apply artificial intelligence tools, artificial intelligence technology, and data in daily life to the achievement standards and content of each subject. If the achievement standards and subject contents are structured in this way, it can be seen that the convergence with each subject is good. Therefore, when composing textbooks by achievement standards and topics, it is necessary to add artificial intelligence tools, artificial intelligence technology, and daily data.

A Comparative Analysis of the Intensive Quantity Covered in Elementary Mathematics, Science and Social Studies from a Pedagogical Perspective (초등 수학과 과학, 사회에서 다루는 내포량에 대한 교수학적 비교 분석)

  • The current elementary mathematics curriculum does not include intensive quantity. However, other subjects also deal with intensive quantity. In order to find a solution to this problem from a pedagogical point of view, the curriculum of mathematics, science, social studies, and elementary textbooks were compared and analyzed, focusing on intensive quantity. As a result of the analysis, the learning contents of intensive quantity were not explicitly presented or the term was not used in the elementary mathematics curriculum. However, intensive quantity was used as a material of activity and word problems in elementary mathematics textbooks. In science and social studies, it was also found that the learning order and content did not match, such as calculating the intensive quantity. For effective learning, it is necessary to consider presenting intensive quantity in elementary mathematics, and to be careful in the composition of learning order and content.

Comparative Analysis Study of Introduction to Industry textbook for Technical High School (전문계 고등학교의 현행 공업입문 교과서 비교연구)

  • The major purposes of this study were 1) to present a desirable guideline for writers who would develop the new Introduction-to-Industry textbook through the comparative analysis of 4 different kinds of current Introduction-to-Industry textbooks, 2) to help educators, who make national college entrance exam in the vocational inquiry area, make good exam items with the results of the study, and 3) to offer effective methods of teaching and learning in the field of industrial education with them. Research method used in this study was mainly literature review with the scrutinization of the literature related to the Introduction-to-Industry textbooks. Results of this study showed that all textbooks compared do mostly comply with the national writer's specific guidelines for the Introduction-to-Industry textbooks. However there were varieties for the all textbooks in a sense of deployment balance for the contents of the textbook chapters. There were also considerable differences for the deployment of supplementary materials, evaluative materials, visual materials and etc. according to the characteristics of each textbook. The degree of the connectivity between the textbooks and the national college entrance exam in the area of the vocational inquiry was similar for the each textbook. However, it was not good enough for the students to study one textbook for the preparation of the exam in the vocational inquiry area because the problems in the exam were set in the range of covering the all different kinds of textbooks by the examiners.

The Analysis of Duplicated Contents and Sequence between Science and Technology·Home Economics Curricular and Textbooks in Middle School about 'Digestion' and 'Energy' (중학교 과학 및 기술·가정 교과의 교육과정과 교과서에 제시된 소화와 에너지 단원의 내용 중복 및 연계성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to deduct implications for national curriculum and textbook by analysing the duplicated contents and sequence between science and technology home economics subjects of the 2009 revised middle school curriculum. For duplication analysis, overlapped achievement standards and themes were examined by comparing the science and technology home economics curricular. Next, analysis of duplicated concepts is performed by comparing science and technology home economics textbooks through the concept map. The result of analyses of the achievement standards showed 4 standards related with 'digestion', 'energy' were duplicated. The other results of studying duplicated contents in textbooks suggested overlapped concepts(terms) were existed as following: digestion(22 contents), Energy(9 contents). In science textbook, the duplicated concept is usually described in detail. In contrast, the technology home economics textbook explain the duplicated concept briefly with providing various type of examples and cases. There are differences of using terminology between two subject textbooks. The findings of this study may provide educational insights into teaching of the duplicated contents between science and technology home economics.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the contents of housing area in Technology Home Economics textbooks of the 2007 revised curriculum which was published in 2011. The structure and the contents of housing area which are consisted of housing/living environment and use of housing space were analyzed. This study aims to examine the changes in the newly revised textbooks as well as suggesting advice for the more improved revised one in the future. For this purpose, this study employed 11 different textbooks and the results were the followings: each textbook had different quantity of pages dedicated to housing area but commonly had the wide range of terminology, plentiful amount of tables/diagrams, reading and activity materials sufficient to have students to carry out in practice. Also, the newly added contents of local area and eco-friendly life are analyzed to be well reflecting the 2007 revised curriculum. In future textbook development, it will be important that the issue of low birth rate, population ageing and green-life to be included as well as emphasizing the content of the network within the local area in order to actively prepare for the environmental issues.
