  • LG건설의 ‘자이’ 아파트 광고 등 최근의 광고이미지들은 미래적인 이미지들을 선전하는데 집중하고 있음을 볼 때, 어느새 현실로 다가오고 있다. 세상이 그만큼 빠르게 변하고 있는 것이다. 2000년대도 벌써 다섯 해를 지나고 있다. 이 시점에서 우리를 미래로 내몰고 있는 패러다임 전환에 대해 점검해 볼 필요가 있다. 이러한 시대 변화를 제대로 인식하지 못하면 어느새 ‘원시인’으로 전락하는 게 요즘 세태다. 이에 최근의 변화를 메가트렌드를 통해 조망해 보자.

Global Advertising Creative Trend Based on 2019 Cannes Lion Winners (2019 칸 국제광고제(Cannes Lions)를 통해서 본 글로벌 광고 크리에이티브 트렌드)

  • This study, after analyzing 2019 Cannes Lion winners, suggests five creative trends. It was found that these global five creative trends are multi-sensory experience, integration between data and creativity, real humanism, brand activist, and consideration for socially disadvantaged. Not only visual impact or stimulus, but audio or scent could be utilized in an effort to stimulate consumers and promote brands. In 2019 Cannes Lions advertising campaigns which sought to find consumer insight through data and apply it to creativity received applause from Cannes Lions judges. In addition, advertising campaigns based on real humanism suggest that attitudes are best changed through positive experiences. Nike's 'Dream Crazy' campaign is a good example which shows a company's philosophy and brand purposes. Brands are becoming activists and are being encouraged to take real action, and for good reason. Lastly, projects such as Ikea's 'ThisAbles' and Microsoft's 'Xbox Adaptive Controller' are contrived for the socially disadvantaged.

GS건설 자이). 아파트가 한층 가파르게 진화하고 있다. 밋밋하고 획일화된 주거공간의 대명사였던 아파트가 달라진 소비자들의 눈높이에 맞춰 '환골탈태'를 거듭하고 있는 것이다. 최근 등장하는 아파트 TV 광고를 눈여겨보면 주택 시장의 트렌드가 어떻게 바뀌고 있는지 한눈에 엿볼 수 있다. 건설업체들의 품질 경쟁도 어느 때보다 치열하다. 그렇다면 아파트 품질은 과연 어떻게 변모하고 있을까. 최근까지 주택 시장의 주요 트렌드는 친환경 공간이 중시된 '웰빙 아파트'나 첨단 편의시설을 갖춘 '유비쿼터스 아파트'가 주도했다고 볼 수 있다. 이어 올해 주택 시장의 키워드로 손꼽히는 3대 트렌드는 '커뮤니티 아파트' '기둥식 평면 구조' '발코니 확장형 아파트'로 요약할 수 있다.

The Analysis of the Influential Factors on Design Trends and Color Trends in the Late 20th Century (20세기 후반 디자인 트렌드의 형성요인과 색채 트렌드 분석)

  • The aim of this research is to find out the flows of mega-trends and design trends by analyzing the factors that influence trend and design trends in the late 20th century. Moreover, it is to forecast and recommend design color trends by evaluating color trends in design trends for the near future. Secondary and primary research were used in parallel. In the late 20th century, mega-trends were analyzed from secondary research based on PEST. Design trends were analyzed from case studies in fashion, space, product and visual design. On this basis, design color trends were analyzed. Also, color trends were forecast for the near future. The results are as follows. Firstly, the main trends in the late 20th century were 'female thinking', 'back to the nature' and 'heaven of peace'. Second, main design trends in the 1970s were modernism, post-modernism and high-tech. In the 1980s, with those of the 1970s, ecology was introduced In the late 1980s. In the 1990s, modernism rose again and ecology had an influence. The trends of 'female thinking' and 'back to the nature' controled the design in the early 2000s. Third, design colors in the late 20th century changed from Red to Purple Blue. Tones changed from 'grayish' to 'dull' Finally, it was forecast that Purple Blue, Yellow Red and Green colors with 'grayish', 'dull' and 'deep' tones were going to be used mainly in the near future. Also, achromatic colors with female and warm nuances would be reflected in design parts. This research will be very useful in that it has built a concrete database reflected on design trends forecasting in the near future by organizing academically a methodology to identify trends reflected on design and identifying relation between mega-trends and design trends based on analyzing factors that influence trend.

Analyzing the Trend of False·Exaggerated Advertisement Keywords Using Text-mining Methodology (1990-2019) (텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용한 허위·과장광고 관련 기사의 트렌드 분석(1990-2019))

  • This study analyzed the trend of the term 'false and exaggerated advertisement' in 5,141 newspaper articles from 1990 to 2019 using text mining methodology. First of all, we identified the most frequent keywords of false and exaggerated advertisements through frequency analysis for all newspaper articles, and understood the context between the extracted keywords. Next, to examine how false and exaggerated advertisements have changed, the frequency analysis was performed by separating articles by 10 years, and the tendency of the keyword that became an issue was identified by comparing the number of academic papers on the subject of the highest keywords of each year. Finally, we identified trends in false and exaggerated advertisements based on the detailed keywords in the topic using the topic modeling. In our results, it was confirmed that the topic that became an issue at a specific time was extracted as the frequent keywords, and the keyword trends by period changed in connection with social and environmental factors. This study is meaningful in helping consumers spend wisely by cultivating background knowledge about unfair advertising. Furthermore, it is expected that the core keyword extraction will provide the true purpose of advertising and deliver its implications to companies and related employees who commit misconduct.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate how the advertising campaign is spreading in social networks, and how the advertising model plays an important role in advertisement diffusion. In order to grasp the diffusion patterns of advertising, a text mining and social network analysis were conducted using the beer brand 'Kloud' as a collection keyword. After analyzing the social data for two months since the on-air of 'Good Body' advertisement, which was the first ad that "Sulhyun" appeared in. After the launch of the ad, Kloud has been mainly associated with keywords such as 'yavis & trendy style', 'beer brand', 'beer matching food', 'luxury beer drinking place', 'leisure trend', and 'SNS activity', etc. In addition, "Sul Hyun" also showed that an advertising model contributes to the spread of advertisement on social media in terms of image transition as well as brand's name and unique selling point.

  • The recent increase in virtual reality (VR) technology around the world has been VR work in cooperation with technology from other sectors to form new trends. In the case of advertising, it is difficult to trace if VR users viewed a certain piece of advertisement because the current technology does not allow them to interact with the screen. Eye tracking technology can act as a solution to the problem of tracing advertisement views as it allows for data extraction in relation to which advertisements were viewed and for how long. The research paper suggests a method of how to track the eyes of users in VR advertising. The suggested method includes communication between a server and VR HMD (virtual reality head mounted display) as well as a screen of output from the server.
