  • Companies, to establish a proper brand image of it, and to appeal to consumers effectively, mobilize advertisement and other publicity means through various communication media. In terms of access rates and degrees of interest of viewers among broadcast media, television is higher than other important media such as radio, newspaper, magazine, and DMB, etc. Since consumers get access to much commercials on television, television commercial activities of companies ultimately have effect on their brand images. Thus, this study, focusing on the screen image expression types among all the expression types of television commercials, examined what brand images consumers favor, and sought to know what characteristics in television commercials in Korea works as important factors in the formation of brand images.

  • In this study, the difference in specific family of six countries for the representation of the elements of the global advertising through investigate the degree of standardization. National and cultural background, social and economic situation compared to the differences that appear here, would you want to see. Thereby global advertising on the message expressed in this and identify the limiting factor family By country looks for any difference illustrates. The analysis shows various contrasts and differences in products group and countries. But there is no need to pursue standardization of advertising in the global market. Why standardization is needed in terms of efficiency of communication in order to achieve cost savings, and the homogenization of preference. To do this, need to find a way to communicate in a global market of consumers can relate to. After all, this is simply not the standardization of advertising is determined that the communication environment and market conditions to build.

  • 멀티미디어(Multimedia) 시대에 있어 메시지(Message)를 통한 사회적 상호작용, 즉 커뮤니케이션 (Communication)은 시각적인 요소, 색채, 형태, 시간, 움직임 뿐 만 아니라 청각적인 요소도 메시지를 전달하는 표현요소로 자리 잡고 있다. 왜냐하면 시각이나 청각 어느 하나만으로 메시지를 전달할 때보다 시 청각을 조화시켜 메시지를 전달 할 경우에 인지도가 훨씬 높기 때문이다. 그리하여 본 연구는 영상 커뮤니케이션이 가지고 있는 시 청각적 요소들의 연관성을 찾고자 하였다. 오늘날 TV 이나 영화 인터넷 등등의 멀티미디어에서 우리는 정보전달과 설득의 영상 메시지들을 쉽게 접할 수 있다. 그 중에 특히 영상메시지의 역할을 극적으로 나타낼 수 있는 광고영상에 속한 시각적 요소 타이포그래피와 청각적 요소 사운드를 통해서 시 청각적 요소의 연관성에 대해 연구하였다. 먼저 다양한 광고영상을 소구방법과 내용에 따른 분류를 통해 분야별로 나누고 그 분야에 따른 시 청각요소의 사용 빈도와 유형을 조사하였다. 타이포그래피는 전달방법에 따라, 사운드는 사용 유형에 따라 나누어 빈도와 유형을 조사하였다. 영상의 시각요소와 청각요소의 적절한 사용이 수용자로 하여금 선호도 및 인지도에 높은 효과가 있다는 분석 결과를 가지고 국내와 국외 광고영상의 시 청각요소의 분포도를 조사, 분석하였다. 그리하여 향후 효과적인 영상 커뮤니케이션의 역할을 하기 위해 시 청각요소의 연관성을 고려한 효율적인 광고영상 제작방향을 제시하고자 한다.

A Study on Advertising Expressive Factors of Fashion Products on Brand Equity -Focused on Mediate Role of Brand Personality- (패션제품 광고표현요소와 브랜드 자산에 관한 연구 -브랜드 개성의 매개효과를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of advertising expressive factors on brand equity and to investigate the role of brand personality as a factor mediate variable. The subject used for this study were 352 female university students. The data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and confirmatory factor analysis using SPSS program and Amos program. As the result, model fit index showed $X^2$=57.824, df=19, GFI=0.969, CFI=0.959, NFI=0.942, and RMSEA=0.076, providing good model fit. Out of the advertising expressive factors, sophistication and model preference factors gave impact on brand personality. Also, among advertising expressive factors, novelty, sophistication, model preference, information factors affected brand equity. Finally, brand personality influenced on brand equity. Brand equity was affected directly by advertising expressive factors. It was also affected by brand personality which is a mediate factor between advertising expressive factors and brand equity. The results of this study would provide advertising strategy for fashion brand.

  • 'Hoon's family story' is worth analysing because it is appreciated one of excellent advertising campaigns made success of gaining social sympathy and inducing interaction on media. And advertisements expressions have been regarded as the tort that we should analyze by semiotic methods. This paper provides possibilities of the advertisement analysis matrix for analysing significations of this campaign based on theories of Roland Barthes and Roman Jakobson for advertising planners and designers.

  • 지난 2008 한경광고대상 수상작들의 키워드는 '꿈과 희망'이었다. 외환위기 당시보다 더 강도 높은 불안이 밀려오고 있는 이때, 고객들이 가장 갈구하는 것은 '희망과 행복'의 메시지였다. 좋은 광고 역시 고객의 이 같은 마음을 읽어내고 이를 아름다운 화상으로 표현해 내는 것이다. 최근 인쇄광고에 견주어 영상광고의 효과를 과대평가하는 경향이 있다. 기억에 잘 남는 훌륭한 광고는 모두가 인쇄광고다. 그러나 인쇄매체는 영상매체보다 훨씬 힘들다. TV는 조명, 액션, 음악, 댄싱, 옵티칼효과 등 도움을 받을 수 있는 보조 요소가 한두 가지가 아니다. 그러나 인쇄매체보다 훨씬 힘들다. An Analysis on Humor Expression in Internet Banner Advertising (인터넷 배너광고의 유머 표현 분석)

  • As the Internet market develops and grows, the Internet advertising has emerged as a critical medium of advertisement and become important in a modern society. In addition, the Internet advertising is more fascinating and attractive than other media in terms of diversity and absorption. In the Internet banner advertising, for example, various expression methods which attract attention from users have been more than just visual advertisement, arousing curiosity and interest. Especially, humorous expressions in the Internet banner advertising have brought a new paradigm to advertising market. Therefore, this paper has investigated the patterns of humorous expressions in banner advertising and analyzed the related case studies to make a contribution to the effective production of the Internet banner advertising, which induces user awareness and selection. For this, it has been attempted to analyze humorous patterns and involvement that are found in humorous banner advertisings such as CIA Athletica, Panadol, Toy & Stok, Adidas and Lipton among the banners which have relatively high preference in Banner blogs.

  • As games have been used throughout the advertisement design in diverse ways, the paradigm of the internet advertising has also been changed. At the same time, there has been a growing tendency among companies to maximize the purpose of advertising by using game-like internet banner advertising, which provides internet-users with the information of the advertisements by exposing specific information, brands, characters, or image. In spite of the quantitative expansion of the game-like internet banner ads, according to a survey with regard to their click-through rate(CTR), the result indicates the CTR is less than 0.5%. Therefore, this study aims to examine what types of displaying elements of the game-like banner ads gaining in popularity can leave the users with a strong impression, and also to explore what types of displaying elements need to be highlighted for the users' active and aggressive access to internet banner advertisements. Currently advertised game-like banner ads on the internet web sites in different fields are selected. Then, they are analyzed by using seven categories. The findings are expected to lay out systematic and practical guidelines for the future production of game-like banner ads.

Classification of Online and Offline linked Advertisements in 4th Industrial Revolution (4차 산업혁명 시대에 따른 온라인과 오프라인 연계 광고의 유형화)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the value and type of online and offline linked advertisement, which is a new advertisement type that emerged with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution. In this study, based on literature research, we understood the marketing method that evolves from "4P (product, price, place, promotion)" to "4C (co-creation, community, conversation, currency)" and extracted derive 4C elements. Based on this, we analyzed what elements of 4C showed online and offline connectivity through the investigation of on and offline linked advertisements. Through the analysis results, online and offline linked advertisements were classified into 4 types and 14 detailed types according to how they were connected to the number of 4C elements. In this paper, as a final result, we verified that 4C elements of marketing that appeared in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution are represented in advertisements and suggested the typology of advertisements accordingly. This study is expected to contribute to providing new insights to advertisers and researchers who produce and study online and offline advertisements.

  • The discussions on Korean advertisement have been continued since 1980's. Comparing with other fields, years of research had not bear as fruitful achievements as we expected. The present situation where korean own culture has been disappearing day by day, this thesis will have significant meaning by investigating Korean culture and advertisement reflecting its culture. This thesis put emphasis on consumers who have been neglected by discussions. So I intended to study the expression of Korean advertisement and their attitudes focused on celluar phone. To investigate their attitudes, I first settled the concept of Korean Advertisement, then posed questions for identifying a shift in their altitudes. As a result of posing questions, I can see that they take friendly attitudes toward Korean advertisement regardless of their ages. And the younger they are, the less they are friendly with advertisement. The element of appeal was differentiated between ages and appeal by korean own sentiment is more effective. I think this outcome verifies the necessity to have concerns on Korean advertisement and make distinct advertisement strategy keeping step with advertisement targets.
