방송광고산업(放送廣告産業) 정부규제(政府規制)의 문제점(問題點)과 개선방안(改善方案)(II)

  • 본(本) 논문(論文)은 졸고(拙稿)(1989)에 이어 정부규제(政府規制)의 폐해가 특히 심각한 방송광고산업(放送廣告産業)에 초점을 두고 한국방송광고공사(韓國放送廣告公社)(KOBACO)라는 규제기구(規制機構)가 중심이 된 각종 규제(規制)의 쟁점(爭點)을 분석한 결과, 대부분의 규제(規制)가 폐지 혹은 완화되어 방송광고(放送廣告)의 시장기능(市場機能)이 활성화(活性化)되어야 함을 주장하고 있다. 조속(早速)한 시일내(時日內)에 규제개선(規制改善)이 필요한 정책과제(政策課題)는 방송광고시간규제(放送廣告時間規制)의 단계적 완화, 토막광고규제(廣告規制)의 단순화, 중간광고(中間廣告)의 허용, CATV 등 신규방송매체(新規放送媒體)의 확충, 규제요금(規制料金)의 단계적 인상, 매체별(媒體別) 시급구분(時級區分)의 자율성 확대를 통한 요금체계(料金體系)의 합리화, "rotation time"제(制) 도입, KOBACO의 수탁수수료(受託手數料) 폐지, 민간대행수수료(民間代行手數料)의 인상, 계열(系列) 비계열(非系列)의 수수료차별화(手數料差別化) 폐지, 복수대행(複數代行)자유화, 한국언론회관(韓國言論會館)의 정부광고독점대행권(政府廣告獨占代行權) 폐지, 방송광고사전심의제(放送廣告事前審議制) 폐지, 매체(媒體)의 대행사(代行社) 소유(所有) 지배(支配) 경영(經營) 차단 등이다. 한편 시청률조사(視聽率調査), ABC 등의 조기정착과 광고산업에 대한 공정거래법(公正去來法)의 적용 등은 시장기능(市場機能)의 전제(前提)가 되는 정책과제로서 제시되었다. 또한 KOBACO 독점대행권(獨占代行權)의 완전폐지, 방송광고요금(放送廣告料金)의 완전자율화, 시간규제(時間規制)의 추가적 완화 등은 이러한 규제개선을 완결시키는 과제로서 제시되었다. 본(本) 논문(論文)은 이러한 정책과제가 효율적으로 추진되려면 경제행정규제완화위원회(經濟行政規制緩和委員會)와 공정거래위원회(公正去來委員會)가 중심기구가 되어야 함을 강조하였다. 규제기능이 사라진 KOBACO의 위상변화는 본(本) 논문(論文)이 고려하지 않았던 지출기능(支出機能)의 평가에 따라 결정될 것이지만, 규제폐지에 관한 한 그 존재의의는 사라진다.

The Impact of Context Congruity, Perceived Advertising Intrusiveness, and Entertainment on Advertising Effect of Branded Advertisement for Mobile Games: Focusing on Chinese Users (모바일 게임 브랜디드 광고의 맥락일치성, 지각된 광고침입성, 광고오락성이 광고효과에 미치는 영향: 중국 이용자를 중심으로)

  • The mobile game industry is currently on the rise and is one of the major industries. Recently, advertisements among mobile games are aimed at branded content, unlike existing advertising content. In this study, we conduct a study on the advertisement effectiveness of the attributes of branded advertisements under a mobile game environment. Therefore, the impact of context congruity, perceived advertising intrusiveness and entertainment on advertising attitude, brand attitude and purchasing intention was verified through experimental research on Chinese mobile game users in the 10s and 20s. Analysis of the PLS structural equation model showed that context congruity and entertainment had a significant impact on advertising attitude, but did not have a significant impact on brand attitude. Perceived advertising intrusiveness has no significant impact on advertising attitude and brand attitude. Finally, advertising attitude had a significant influence on purchase intention through brand attitude. Through these findings, we discuss the effectiveness of mobile game branded advertisement and present effective brand advertising strategies.

  • The primary focus of Korea's advertisement policy has been on the securing of stability in the market through building categorical entry barriers whenever a new broadcaster came into the market. But the recent contraction of the advertisement market is pressing the policy makers to lift the categorical barriers to create one large-enough market. This change in the policy and the market, in turn, is triggering heightened competition among drama producers to get advertisements, at times, even at the expense of cost efficiency. The market is supposed to search for its own equilibrium in principle. This means that players, who fall behind, should be left to die out and exit, and the patient policy to let the market function on its own should be institutionalized. Separately, the fee-based public broadcasters should be banned from running advertisements.

An Exploratory Study on the Advertising Skepticism and Avoiding of Youtube Users based on Media Platform (미디어 플랫폼 유튜브 이용자의 광고 회의주의와 광고 회피 현상에 대한 고찰)

  • As the media environment changes rapidly, the size of the online advertising market is growing rapidly. However, consumer's trustfulness in online advertising is much lower than that of old media, and there is also a phenomenon of advertising avoidance. Thus, in this study, advertising skepticism, advertising appeals, involvement, and FCB Grid theory were used to provide Youtube and advertisers with implications for advertising strategies. It was intended to provide a way to lower consumer advertising avoidance. As a result of Research 1, consumers with high advertising avoidance showed low advertising attitudes, brand attitudes, and attitudes toward products. In addition, there was no difference in gender, and when the frequency of online video viewing decreased and the age increased, advertising avoidance increased. Research 2 shows that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism showed a high level of advertising attitude when the level of involvement was low and transformational appeal was high. In the FCB Grid model, consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism are found to be suitable for transformational appeal advertising. These results mean that Youtube and advertisers should think important about advertising skepticism, which is the cause of advertising avoidance, and that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism should be presented with advertisements suitable for each type of product in the online advertising market.

  • 광고의 집약체로 불리는 옥외광고는 이집트와 그리스에서 5 ,000년 전부터 이용되었던 것으로 지금도 도시나 교외지역에서 가장 널리 이용되는 커뮤니케이션 형식 중의 하나로 자리잡고 있다. 현재 옥외광고는 광고매체의 총광고비 중 3% 미만을 차지하고 있으며, 또한 게시판의 수가 점차 감소함에도 불구하고, 옥외광고 매체는 금액적인 면에서 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 더욱이 자동차 판매업, 소매업 및 금융기업들 그리고 닷컴산업과 같은 새로운 광고주들의 광고 참여를 통해 옥외광고의 수요는 날이 갈수록 증가하고 있다.

  • 디지털 기술의 발달과 함께 인터넷의 보급 확산은 다양한 미디어 소비 채널을 양산하였고, 정보취득 및 소비 형태의 다양화를 유도하였다. 최근 스마트폰, 태블릿PC 등 모바일 기기가 확산되고 스마트TV, 디지털사이니지와 같은 새로운 매체가 등장함에 따라 이들을 통해서 제공되는 광고가 시장에서 주목을 받고 있다. 또한 양방향 매체의 확산에 힘입어 광고 소비 매체의 특성을 활용한 다양한 맞춤형광고, 리워드광고, 네이티브광고, 커머스 연계 광고 등 새로운 유형의 광고 상품 및 서비스들이 제공되고 있으며 광고주들의 관심을 끌고 있다. 새로운 스마트미디어를 이용한 광고산업 활성화 및 경쟁력 확보를 위해서는 차세대 광고플랫폼, 다양한 광고 효과 측정 및 분석기술 등에 대한 개발 및 기반구축이 선행되어야 한다. 본고에서는 주요 매체별 광고 유형에 대하여 살펴보고 다양한 스마트미디어 광고 서비스 유형 및 사례, 광고효과 측정관련 이슈 및 기술동향 등에 대하여 살펴본다.

  • This study explores the characteristics and discourse of creative work in advertising and investigates women's work experience and their problem. This will reconfirm the characteristics of advertising as creative labour. For this, it conducts in-depth interviews and analyzes them through a theoretical detour and a thick description. The study found the dominant discourse that creativity is their duty and ultimate goal. This dominant discourse makes the gendering of creative roles and representation languished. In spite of this, female creators with parenting have difficulty in reducing work ability, because conflicting identities weaken their self-regulation. This means that advertising is 'self-regulationized' labour.

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, complex problems of the advertising and PR industry ecosystem, which have become more complex than in the past, are raised, and the necessity and importance of convergence education is being demanded. In this study, the usefulness and implementation plan of the team teaching method for revitalization of convergence education were studied by conducting in-depth interviews with experts in academia and practice expert. The results of this study summarized that it is appropriate to introduce a team teaching method in which academia and industry jointly participate in the curriculum of the Department of Advertising and PR. It was found to be a meaningful educational method aimed at nurturing students with problem-solving ability. This study proposed a new industry-academic cooperation model as an exploratory study of advertising and PR department and team teaching education.

News Article Analysis of the 4th Industrial Revolution and Advertising before and after COVID-19: Focusing on LDA and Word2vec (코로나 이전과 이후의 4차 산업혁명과 광고의 뉴스기사 분석 : LDA와 Word2vec을 중심으로)

  • The 4th industrial revolution refers to the next-generation industrial revolution led by information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), robot technology, drones, autonomous driving and virtual reality (VR) and it also has made a significant impact on the development of the advertising industry. However, the world is rapidly changing to a non-contact, non-face-to-face living environment to prevent the spread of COVID 19. Accordingly, the role of the 4th industrial revolution and advertising is changing. Therefore, in this study, text analysis was performed using Big Kinds to examine the 4th industrial revolution and changes in advertising before and after COVID 19. Comparisons were made between 2019 before COVID 19 and 2020 after COVID 19. Main topics and documents were classified through LDA topic model analysis and Word2vec, a deep learning technique. As the result of the study showed that before COVID 19, policies, contents, AI, etc. appeared, but after COVID 19, the field gradually expanded to finance, advertising, and delivery services utilizing data. Further, education appeared as an important issue. In addition, if the use of advertising related to the 4th industrial revolution technology was mainstream before COVID 19, keywords such as participation, cooperation, and daily necessities, were more actively used for education on advanced technology, while talent cultivation appeared prominently. Thus, these research results are meaningful in suggesting a multifaceted strategy that can be applied theoretically and practically, while suggesting the future direction of advertising in the 4th industrial revolution after COVID 19.

A Content Analysis of Internet Banner Advertisement Between Korea and China (한국과 중국의 인터넷 배너광고 내용비교분석)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국과 중국의 인터넷 광고 내용에 대한 내용분석 연구로서 문헌연구를 통해 주요변수항목에 관한 선행연구를 통해 측정항목을 도출하였으며 한-중간 인터넷 광고의 내용 차이를 분석하였다. 구체적으로 인터넷 광고 상품유형, 개인주의/집단주의, 광고소구, 소비가치, 광고컬러, 광고모델, 광고 글자 수 및 광고 컷(cut)의 길이 총 8개의 주요변수항목을 통한 분석으로 두 나라 간 인터넷 광고에 나타난 내용적 차이를 분석하였다. 그 결과 양국 간 인터넷 배너광고의 특성에는 많은 차이가 발견되었으며, 그 이유는 문화적 차이, IT인프라의 차이, 산업발전단계의 차이, 그리고 소비확산단계의 차이로 해석될 수 있었다. 마지막으로 중국으로 진출하는 한국기업들이 인터넷 광고 전략을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.
