Product placement is growing due to its advantages that it is cheaper than general advertising and free from restrictions from exposure time. Considering that, this study includes variables reflecting high importance and characteristic changes in product placement. The study selects fashion involvement, celebrity involvement, bald exposure, and exposure strength as variables reflecting the unique characteristics of product placement, observance of ethics and consumer deception as ones reflecting ethical aspects, and program popularity and media familiarity as variables reflecting means of using product placement. As a result, celebrity involvement and program popularity have a positive influence on purchase intention, and consumer deception has a negative impact. However, fashion involvement, bald exposure, exposure strength, observance of ethics, and media familiarity do not have a statistically significant impact. Purposes of this study were to identify the relationship among involvement in COVID-19 (IiC), attitude toward advertisement (AtA), and behavioral Intention to social distancing (BItSD), and to investigate the mediating effect of AtA in a loss versus gain advertising context. The participants were 379 adults who have been consecutively living in Korea since January 2020. The participants were randomly assigned to one of two advertisements using an online survey system. We found that IiC affects BItSD since Korean adults recognize the risks and seriousness of COVID-19 infection or transmission through IiC. Induced positive attitudes or emotions through involvement in the COVID-19 preventive behaviors including social distancing and vaccination are helpful to increase the BItSD. Thus, health care and information providers should give an accurate message, which induces a positive attitude, to recognize that our world is a risk of the COVID-19.

As the media environment changes rapidly, the size of the online advertising market is growing rapidly. However, consumer's trustfulness in online advertising is much lower than that of old media, and there is also a phenomenon of advertising avoidance. Thus, in this study, advertising skepticism, advertising appeals, involvement, and FCB Grid theory were used to provide Youtube and advertisers with implications for advertising strategies. It was intended to provide a way to lower consumer advertising avoidance. As a result of Research 1, consumers with high advertising avoidance showed low advertising attitudes, brand attitudes, and attitudes toward products. In addition, there was no difference in gender, and when the frequency of online video viewing decreased and the age increased, advertising avoidance increased. Research 2 shows that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism showed a high level of advertising attitude when the level of involvement was low and transformational appeal was high. In the FCB Grid model, consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism are found to be suitable for transformational appeal advertising. These results mean that Youtube and advertisers should think important about advertising skepticism, which is the cause of advertising avoidance, and that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism should be presented with advertisements suitable for each type of product in the online advertising market.
