It has been several years since PMIS was implemented to improve efficiency of construction management. At the moment, it is necessary to evaluate existing PMIS and to establish a new strategy for developing it. To meet this need, In this study the concept of how to develop PMIS has been established, and the opportunity gain of applying information system by unit work has been examined through analyzing construction work. Also, the evaluating methodology of existing system has been proposed, and by applying this methodology the new strategy fur developing PMIS has been set up.

Since building up the Geographic Information System actively, we doubt whether we make good use of those system. These problems are caused by that legacy GIS is focused on the information construction and management of various facilities. So raising up the usability of GIS, we study on the GIS based on KMS that is active developed recently. First, we discuss about the concept of KMS and make the method to develop KMS with related to GIS. Then we make up the pilot system(g-KMS) according to the method for using on the filed of Construction. Consequently, we make sure that Spatial information is so important among various knowledges and find the why how to spatial knowledge build up.

This study aims to expose the current status of the transfer of public digital records. Based on the PAIMAS transfer methodology, it identified the domains of transfer in the Korean public sector. Through the result of the interviews with experts in the field, this study examined what the records centers and the National Archive of Korea had prepared using the domains. Through the examination, the expected problems and subject to be discussed were thus presented, which are expected to provide a forum for further discussions.

More than 50% of defects and errors in the software development projects are related to the requirements[14]. But the development methodologies can not provide enough supports to the requirements management and changes. In the real world, the requirements keep changing as the requirements at the early development phase are usually incomplete, the developer′s understanding of the problem will be constantly changed during the software process, and new requirements may emerge with the organizational and environmental changes. In this paper, a requirements management process that can be integrated into the development methodologies is proposed to extend the requirements management over the whole development life-cycle and to support the requirements changes at the design/implementation/test phases. To evaluate the proposed process, it was compared to the existing requirements managements processes and models, and examined through a integration test with a widely used development methodology "MaRMI" to show the expected improvements at each development phase.

The construction information used in the design and construction phases are being gradually changed by 3D objects based on virtual reality (VR). This study developed an algorithm and computerized system to visualize layer object simulation that can be used in the pre-design phase. Layer object simulation enables designer to review expecting problems, which can reappear in real construction site, by building construction structures in a VR system. This function can be used as an important tool of virtual construction system.

The research explores methodologies for the development of archival contents to support urban sustainability in the context of intensifying urbanization leading to local extinction. Through an analysis of placemaking theories, the study demonstrates that the sense of place reproduced in archival content can contribute to the formation of a unique local identity. The research proposes a comprehensive approach to constructing and organizing archival content by examining narrative and storytelling methodologies. In addition, it conceptualizes a service model that enhances the interaction between archival content and users by leveraging digital technologies. This study theoretically confirms that archival content can play a role in reconstructing and supporting placeness. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the development of archival strategies that support urban sustainability.

This study aims to set up the appropriate strategies for the transboundary river between South and North Korea. We took the example of Bukhan River which penetrates both Koreas to illustrate this idea, and applied Game Theory to get the solutions. Previous studies have mainly dealt with counterplan in case of confliction. On the contrary, this study has the premise that there could be much more cooperations. The analysis shows that the best choice is to develop the basin together. For example, they can make up development plan for Imjin basin which ranges from North Korea and South. As the result, South Korea can get the stable water volume in the river and North Korea can have the chances for economic revitalization.

Presently, the ubiquitous emergence of high-speed-network environments has led to a rapid increase of various applications, leading to constantly complicated network traffic. To manage networks efficiently, the traffic classification of specific units is essential. While various traffic-classification methods have been studied, a methods for the complete classification of network traffic has not yet been developed. In this paper, a correlation model of the network flow is defined, and a traffic-classification method for which this model is used is proposed. The proposed network-correlation model for traffic classification consists of a similarity model and a connectivity model. Suggestion for the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated in terms of accuracy and completeness through experiments.

Recently, it is expected for requirement for more scientific research of weapon systems acquisition alternatives with reliability and objectivity. For these needs, study on methodology of weapon systems acquisition alternatives is but on-going, but it is still in its early stages and is unprofessional. We compared general decision making methods, government development program decision making methods, methodologies of weapon systems acquisition alternatives research such as AHP, ANP, KAAM and proposed AHP as weapon acquisition analysis. This study guarantees objectivity and derives scientific research results reliability by analyzing and comparing comprehensive elements such as cost, effectiveness, deployment schedule, program management risk. Further study on AHP weight and other decision making methods is needed considering category of weapon systems and program characteristics.
