  • This study aims to prove the value of SNS tourism information by confirming the relation between SNS tourism information and perceived risk and by verifying its influence on the intention to switch tourism destination. The data was collected from 302 tourists. For data analysis, SPSS 18.0 program and AMOS 18.0 were conducted. First, functional characteristics of SNS tourism information have been verified to have no relationship with the tourist's perception of risk, and therefore the functional tourism information is thought to cause individual motive regardless of tourist's perception of risk. Second, aesthetic value and economic benefits of SNS tourism information have been analyzed to reduce perceived risk of tourists. Third, a symbol of SNS Tourism information has proved to be an element that increases the risk perceived by tourists, indicating that various kinds of tourism information provided by other channels including SNS can serve as a momentum to make tourists recognize new risks the other way round as new tourism information is accumulated, which acts as new motivating factor.

A survey was conducted to the Korean tourists departing to China at the In-Cheon international airport, which results in collecting 305 usable questionnaires. The results show that the perceived familiarity toward China positively affects the degree of preference to China as a tourism destination. As to the impacts of familarity on the perceived risks, the results reveal that the degree of familarity is negatively associated with several risk perceptions. Lastly, the degree of perceived familiarity is positively related to the one type of preferred tourist activity, visiting nature historical sites. The results of this study support the role of familiarity as a significant factor in understanding other tourist perceptions.

  • The tourism industry is well on its way to returning to pre-pandemic levels all over the world. This article aims to investigate the factors that affect tourists' traveling intentions towards Korea. TAM model is used when doing the data analysis and we added some key external variables: trust, information quality, and personal innovativeness, to better fit the real-life scenarios. By using SPSS and AMOS, we analyze with the structural equation modeling method and find out that perceived risk is not significantly related to intention. We find out that perceived risk is not significantly related to purchasing intention, suggesting that consumers might prioritize convenience over perceived risk. And many other factors become potential mediating factors between these two.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of fast food customer's perceived risks on risk reduction behavior, attitude and purchase intention. A total of 268 usable surveys were collected using a stratified random sampling method. Descriptive analysis and factor analysis was then conducted using SPSS 12.0, and a Cronbach's $\alpha$ was generated to estimate the internal consistency of the survey items. Multiple regression analysis was used to evaluate the relationships among variables. The results indicated that fast food safety and monetary risks had a negative effect on customer feelings and satisfaction with fast food, which had a positive effect on buying purpose and recommendation purpose. Conversely, obesity and monetary risks only had a negative effect on buying purpose. An improved menu more effectively reduced the risk perceived by the fast-food customers than an improved image.

  • The majority of research on lifestyle has been conducted based on a variable-centered approach. However, over the last decades, there is a growing body of research on lifestyle in terms of a person-centered approach. Hence, this study identifies senior generations' profiles based on the combination of the five realms of lifestyle. More specifically, this study utilized a Latent profile analysis(LPA) to explore both quantitatively and qualitatively distinct types of senior generation' lifestyle profiles. As a result, the five distinct types of senior lifestyle profiles were identified and these five profiles were then contrasted with traveling attitude and behavioral intention(traveling intention). In addition, this study attempted to identify similarity in the patterns of relations with theoretical antecedent, correlate and outcome variables. Results showed that even though senior generation belonging to profile groups pertaining to the high level of all five types of lifestyle were associated with a high level of attitude and behavior intention, there was no differences among the profiles. This means that regardless of the patterns of senor generation lifestyle profiles, there was no similarity. Nevertheless, it should be considered that senior generation consider a security when making a travel ling decision regardless of the patterns of lifestyle profiles. This results suggest that senior generation' traveling satisfaction is more likely obtained with the experience of safety and convenience during their travel. At last, this study discusses some implication tourism theory related to lifestyle, practices and future research on tourism profiles.
