Coastal ferry routes are very important because they connect the mainland to islands, offer transportation for islanders, and bring tourism to islands. In particular, the recent increase in national income, prevalence of a culture that emphasizes work-life balance, and introduction of the five-day workweek have stoked interest in travel as a leisure pursuit, and demand for tourism from Korean people in islands has increased. As the number of passengers using coastal passenger terminals increases due to changes in the coastal tourism environment, the importance and need for coastal passenger terminal facilities and services is growing. Under these circumstances, it is necessary for the management organizations of coastal passenger terminals to manage and efficiently operate the terminals in such a way that budgets can be reasonably implemented and the convenience of passengers using the terminals is enhanced. This study primarily analyzed the management efficiency of coastal passenger terminals in terms of profitability and public interest using data envelopment analysis. The eight passenger terminals achieved low management efficiency in terms of profitability. These terminals should improve profitability by increasing income from terminal office rental and ancillary businesses and revenue from terminal fees by boosting island tourism and expanding overseas passenger transportation. The eight terminals with low management efficiency for public interest should increase the number of passengers by promoting island tourism, developing tour packages to Japan and China's coastal areas, developing new routes, and introducing super-high-speed ships.

The value of Its visitors is very important factors on selection of a Spa & Resort. The first detailed purpose of this paper is to analyse the differences of select behaviors of a Spa & Resort according to the types of values of the visitors. The second aim is to conduct a research on the characters of select behaviors of the visitors. The third aim is to analyse the degree of satisfaction of the visitors, re-visitation and the intention of recommendation. The fourth purpose is to provide useful materials on analysis about the values of the visitors at various Spa & Resorts and to trigger dramatic effect of recuperation, relaxation with its visitor's needs met, the maximum of hotel's management profit at Spa & Resort's area and programs to activate the region's economy. Factor Analsis Routine of SPSS Windows Version 10.0 was applied to accomplish the issues of the study. The Applied analysis by research process are as follows; This paper applied Frequency analysis to figure out interviewee's demographic characters and various using types of the visitors, using their experience of visiting, Select influence, Visiting period, Accommodation they use, Accompanyist, Costs, Season, Transportation, The necessary time. This paper showed important correlation between the visitors' select attributes and behaviors after using it, between their personal value and behaviors after using it, between their individual value, motive of use and their select behavior of destinations. In accordance with it, Managers or developer of a Spa & Resort should make a plan after a sufficient review of the visitors' individual value. The visitor's value is changing continuously according to the change of spatial, occasional environment and should be assessed by those changes.

Local festivals form the regional cultures and atmosphere of communication; they increase the demand of domestic tourism businesses and thus, have an important role in ripple effects (e.g. regional image improvement, tourist influx, job creation, regional contents development, and local product sales) and economic revitalization. IoT (Internet of Thing) technologies have been developed especially, beacon-one of the IoT services has been applied as plenty of types and forms both domestically and internationally. However, notwithstanding expansion of current digital mobile technologies, it still remains as difficult for the individual to track the information about all the local festivals and to fulfill the tourists' needs of enjoying festivals given the weak strategic approaches and advertisement activities. Furthermore, current festival-related mobile applications don't function well as delivering information and have numerous contents issues (e.g. ways of information delivery within the festival places, independent application usage for each festival, one time usage due to one time event). This research, based on the background mentioned above, aims to develop the local festival mobile application and data analysis system applying beacon technology. First of all, three algorithms were developed, namely, 'festival crowding algorithm', 'visitor stats algorithm', and 'customized information algorithm', and then beta test was followed with the developed application and data analysis system. As a result, they could form the database of visitors' types and behaviors, and provide functions and services, such as personalized information, waiting time for festival contents, and 'hot place' function. Besides, in Google Play store, they also got the titles given with more than 13,000 downloads within first three months and as the most exposed application related with festivals; and, thus, got credited with their marketability and excellence. This research follows this order: chapter 2 shows the literature review of local festival related with technology development, beacon service, and festival application. In Chapter 3, design plans and conditions are described of developing local festival mobile application and data analysis system with beacon. Chapter 4 evaluates the results of the beta performance test to verify applicability of the developed application and data analysis system, and lastly, chapter 5 explains the conclusion and suggests the future research.

최근 잦은 기상이변과 대규모 태풍(2002년 루사, 2003년 매미 등)에 의해 기존 댐의 안정성이 미흡한 것으로 판단됨에 따라 최대가능홍수량(PMF) 유입시 소양강 댐의 수문학적 안정성 확보와 용수공급량 및 발전용량의 확보, 댐 주변 노후시설의 자연 친화적 개보수에 의한 친환경적 공간창출과 이로 인한 관광 수요 증대에 따른 지역경제 활성화를 목적으로 기존 여수로에 추가하여 보조여수로가 계획되었다. 보조여수로는 수리적 특성, 지반조건, 인문사회적 여건 및 문화재 등 기타 기반여건을 감안하여 1,276.4m와 1,206.4m, 2련 14도 완경사 터널식 여수로로 설계되었으며 터널은 폭 $14{\sim}25m$의 대단면으로 계획되었다. 보조여수로는 유입부 및 유출부 구조물, 천이부터널 및 일반터널, 개착터널로 계획되었으며 각 구조물의 수문학적 안정성을 바탕으로 설계되었다.

The plan of developing a fishing village and port will be indirectly funded by the government. In the short term, there will be five different multi-functional fishing village models which are based on the first industry to attach to the third industry of marine sports experience tourism. In the long run, they have to be reached gradually. The popular scenic spot of the marine sports experience tourism is made by human resources and fundamental installations considering that it must be done in unpolluted water. It is necessary to separate the fish harbor into two sides. One side is an existing fishing industry. The other side is made up of several pontoons for the marine sports equipment of the marine mooring. It is necessary to build facilities, such as the mooring facility, the storage facility, the repair-check facility, supply-cleaning facility, information booth, accommodations, education facility, and a marine culture exchange facility.

This study attempts to propose ways for activated methods of Sancheong tourist resort with Traditional Oriental Medicine(the following this resort) by examining the placement plan, space plan and characteristics of this resort. The results of this study are as follow. First, the accessibility has to be improved for safe and quick transportation between this resort and nearby areas. The curved roads must be replaced by straight roads at least partially. Second, an experiencing space like herb farm is necessary to activate the function of the tourist resort in the aspect of the arrangement planning for this resort. Third, the roads within the complex must be improved into Ring Roads for the circulation of cars to use the space in the tourist resort in a reasonable and positive way. Fourth, various places for tourism must be developed in the rear for sightseeing tours. Moreover, the development of tourism area together with the residents must be achieved with the active participation of the local people in the festival.

Objectives: This study aimed to assess the priorities among the environmental factors on, and to build core strategies for fostering Korean medical tourism. Methods: We used an A'WOT hybrid method which combined SWOT with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), that is, the strategic factors in each strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats group were selected by medical tourism experts' opinion, and then the importance of the factors in each SWOT group were pair-wise compared. Results: The results presented that the opportunities and the strengths groups are relatively more important than the other groups. The key competitive factors include high-quality human resources of traditional medicine, modernized system of Korean medical institutions, and local governments' willpower to promote herbal industries. Conclusions: Based on the results of analysis, it is suggested for government to build a timely strategic plan, to enhance cooperative activities with the private sector, to organize local resources, and to provide marketing support.

The purpose of this study is to analyze activating factors of medical tourism at Busan, and then decide on priority on the factors. As research methods, this study deduced priority of specialists' opinions by AHP analysis technique through structuralized questionnaire on the medical tourism's factors having been suggested from existing prior studies. The analysis results were same as followings. First, as a result of analysis on the main criteria, relative levels of importance were appeared high such as 'competitiveness', 'policy assistances from the government', 'medical care's infrastructure', and 'connectedness with regions' in order. Second, as a result of integrated results analyzing detailed criteria on the main evaluation standards, relative levels of importance were appeared high such as 'medical quality', 'health-related institution's improvement', 'medical infrastructure', 'medical charge', 'tourism-related institution's improvement', 'convenience', 'medical cooperation possibilities', and 'local industry compliance' in order. In conclusion, it is judged that activation of medical tourism shall be propelled after considering relative levels of importance on many policies or activating factors same as suggested in this study.

Masan Port, which is a main entrance to Korea, has undergone the tough time these days. Many problems are mainly due to the deterioration of harbor facilities, the shortage of waterfront area and the decrease of the trading volumes. Especially the trading volumes are seriously affected by the Busan New Port, which was not only very close to the Masan Port but constructed in a large scale. For the Masan Port to develop continuously, therefore, it is vital to modernize harbor facilities, redevelop the old harbor, expand its waterfront, construct green port and develop harbor for sightseeing. At the same time, Masan port should be ready to develop a higher value added port. To vitalize Masan port's economy, we have to push forward a differentiation strategy that makes Masan port specialized harbor for distributing goods like hard and heavy cargo.

21세기는 생명, 환경, 정보를 주제로 새 시대를 맞이하고 있다. 20세기 절대빈곤에서 벗어나기 위한 성장제일주의의 경제개발정책은 짧은 시간에 성공적으로 달성되어 높은 문화수준과 산업사회를 이룰 수 있었다. 한편, 국민생활향상과 산업발전에 결정적 역할을 해왔던 수자원개발은 동강에서, 시화호에서, 지리산, 인천 앞바다에서 개발 부작용으로 생태와 환경이 심한 몸살을 앓기 시작하고 있다. WTO에 의한 시장개방으로 생산구조가 붕괴되고 농촌지역이 공동화될 것을 걱정하고 있다. 누군가는 농촌에서 농사를 짓고 살아야만 국가의 산업구조가 유지되고 아름다운 국토의 자연환경을 보전할 수 있다. 농촌은 식량생산을 위한 공간과 인간생활을 위한 공간 등 두 가지 기능을 가진 공간이다. 쾌적한 농촌을 이룩하려면 농업생산성을 향상시켜 농업소득을 높이고, 농공단지의 활성화와 농촌관광과 휴양시설에 의한 농외소득을 강화해야 한다. 또한, 농업은 식량의 안정적 공급은 물론 홍수 및 토양침식 억제, 수자원함양, 수질정화, 대기정화, 생물 다양성 등 환경보전적 기능이 WTO에 대응하여 쌀시장을 지킬 수 있는 논리로 새롭게 평가받고 있다. George Brokeway (경제인의 종말, 1991)의 “ 이윤극대화라는 경제원칙이 인간의 자연파괴와 기상이변 앞에 모순을 드러내고 있어 경제학의 인간화를 요구하고 있다.”는 지적에 비교우위론자들은 다시 한번 귀기울여주기 바란다.
