Influence of CSR Activity on Brand Equity : Mediation Effect of Product and Service Quality Evaluation (기업의 사회적 책임 활동이 브랜드 자산에 미치는 영향 : 제품 및 서비스 품질 평가의 매개효과)

  • Recently, Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) is essential corporate activity to establish favorable corporate image and sustainability management. But it has been a little research that investigate relationship between CSR in corporate level and marketing performance in individual brand level. This paper investigate relationship between CSR activities and brand equity, moderating effect of product quality and service quality on the relationship between CSR activities and brand equity. The SEM(Structural Equation Model) result of this paper shows positively CSR activity to product quality, service quality, and brand equity. Also, the result show moderating effect of product quality and service quality on the relationship between CSR activities and brand equity. Based on these findings, implication and future direction are discussed.

The Impacts of Design Orientation on Brand and Reputation Orientation (기업의 디자인 지향성이 브랜드 및 기업의 명성 지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • The paper aims to examine the relationships among a company's design, brand, and reputation orientations. DBR (Design, Brand, Reputation) have been regarded as invisible growth engines for companies and draws a lot of interests among Brand, PR and IR mangers recently. We have tested 3 hypotheses and have developed a relationship mechanism how to develop those three key intangible marketing assets. We have conducted 131 interviews with company managers who are involved in DBR activities, used Structural Equation Model (SEM) to estimate those relationships. It was found that a company's design orientation influenced the company's brand orientation positively and this brand one influenced reputation orientations consequently. However, design orientation does not show any significant relationship with a company's reputation orientations. Thus, there is a D->B >R chain mechanism concerning these 3 intangible marketing assets. Finally, the implications of this study and suggestions of further studies are discussed.

부동산시장(不動産市場)의 불완전성(不完全性)과 자본자산가격결정모형(資本資産價格決定模型)

  • 본 논문에서는 우리나라의 부동산시장(不動産市場)의 불완전성(不完全性)이 금융시장보다도 강한 현실을 반영하여 그것이 자본자산가격결정모형(資本資産價格決定模型) (the capital asset pricing model)에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 부동산시장의 불완전성으로서는 특히 부동산의 경우 기본적인 최저거래단위가 일반 금융자산보다도 높아 거래에 제약이 따른다는 점, 또한 최근 정부의 부동산 가격의 안정화 시책에 따라 개인의 부동산 보유한도가 엄격하게 제한되고 있으며 부동산 투자 이득에 대한 과세도 대폭 강화되고 있다는 점 등이 고려되었다. 이와같은 가정하에서 본고에서는 전통적인 자본자산가격모형을 수정 검토한 뒤, 그 모형의 틀속에서 부동산보유제한(不動産保有制限) 및 투자이득(投資利得)의 과세강화(課稅强化)같은 부동산가격 안정화 시책의 효과를 살펴보고, 그 외 자산담보대출의 담보비율 조정이 자산의 가격형성에 미치게되는 효과와 부동산 투자신탁제도의 도입효과, 부동산 기대수익률과 주식의 기대수익률의 관계 등을 검토하였다. 이러한 분석의 결과, 특히 본고에서는 현재 정부가 추진중인 불동산보유제한(不動産保有制限) 및 투자이득(投資利得)의 과세강화(課稅强化)와 같은 정책들이 경우에 따라서 부동산 가격을 안정화시키기 보다는 오히려 부동산 가격의 상승을 유발할 수도 있는 것으로 나타나 정책의 시행시 상당히 신중을 기하지 않으면 안되는 것으로 분석되었다.

An Empirical Study on the Effect of the Corporate Social Responsibility by Port Operation Organization on the Brand Asset, Reputation and Relationship Performance Perceived by Interested Parties (항만운영주체의 사회적 책임활동이 이해관계자가 지각한 브랜드자산과 평판, 관계성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of the corporate social responsibility by port operation organization on the brand asset, reputation and relationship performance perceived by interested parties. To achieve such a purpose, literature survey on various research papers and thesis, research report is carried out and also reliability analysis, validity test and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0 are used. To verify a established research model for empirical analysis and hypotheses, questionnaires are distributed to the port operation organization, terminal operators, shipping companies and NGO. Total 414 copies of questionnaires were collected and used in this analysis. The main results of the study are summarized as below. First, it was confirmed that social responsibility of the port operation organization are classified into three categories; economic, legal, and charitable and ethical responsibility. Second, economic responsibility has a positive impact on the brand awareness and reputation. Third, legal responsibility has a positive impact on the trust and commitment. Fourth, charitable and ethical responsibility has a positive impact on brand image and awareness, reputation, trust and commitment. Further additional empirical research can be extended by distributing more questionnaires including several port operation organizations in Busan and Incheon.

  • 실증적인 연구들에 의하면 고객회사(client firms)와 서비스 제공업자(vendor) 간의 파트너십의 질과 범위가 정보시스템 아웃소싱의 성공적인 구현에 결정적인 역할을 하는 것으로 알려졌다. 본 연구는 이러한 정보시스템 아웃소싱 구현에 있어서 파트너십의 역할을 좀 더 심층적으로 분석하려는 노력의 일환이다. 본 연구에서의 기본 명제는 파트너십 특성들의 아웃소싱 구현에의 효과는 아웃소싱 업무의 특성(task characteristics)과 같은 상황적 요인에 의해 영향을 받을 수 있다는 것이다. 구체적으로 본 연구에서는 자산특이성(asset specificity)과 파트너십 특성간의 상호효과(interaction effect)에 중점을 두고 조사를 하게되는데, 파트너십은 관계적거래 특성(relational exchange characteristics)에 의해 구체화되었다. 207개의 미국 회사의 아웃소싱 관계를 대상으로 한 설문조사를 기반으로 한 결과에 의하면, 전반적으로 비관계적거래(discrete exchange)보다 관계적거래에 기반을 두고 아웃소싱 관계를 운영하는 것이 아웃소싱의 성공적 구현을 위하여 필수적인 것으로 보인다. 한편 상호효과를 조사하기 위해서는 MRA와 하위그룹분석(subgroup analysis)을 시행하였는데, 자산특이성과 일부 관계적거래 특성들간에 상호효과가 유의성이 있음을 발견하였다. 발견된 상호효과를 근거로 상황 변수를 고려하지 않은 연구 결과 중 확실하지 않은 결과(inconclusive results)에 대한 해석을 시도하였다.

A Longitudinal Causal Rrelationship Study on the Elderly's Assets, Depression and Llife Satisfaction: : The Application of Autoregressive Cross-lagged Model (노인의 자산과 우울 및 삶의 만족 간의 종단적 인과관계: 자기회귀교차지연모형의 적용)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the auto-regression effect between the elderly's assets and depression and life satisfaction, and to approach the influence of assets and depression on the elderly's life from a longitudinal perspective. For this purpose, the data for the 9th year (2014), 11th year (2016), and 13th year (2018) of the Korea Welfare Panel were used. As a result of the analysis, First, the assets, depression and life satisfaction of the elderly have a lasting effect on the passage of time, and the assets, depression and life satisfaction of the previous point in time (B=.694, B=.725, p<.001), depression (B=.258, B=.331 and p<.001) and life satisfaction (B=.264, B=.265, p<.001). Second, cross-recursion coefficients show how the relationship between the assets of the elderly and depression and the satisfaction of life affects each other over time, and the assets of the older person at the previous point in time (B=.010, B=.011, p<.001), the assets of the older persons at previous times are subsequently satisfied with their lives (B=.128, B=.124, p<.001). Based on the results of the above analysis, it is necessary to support the elderly's asset management service and education to prevent depression, such as continuous asset utilization education.

  • This paper explores the extent to which property scale, in particular housing price is useful as the measure of an individual's economic status. Its main object is to compare the distributions of the measure of housing wealth and other objective or subject measures, i,e., reported income and subjective class identification. Additionally, their relations to other variables are examined. An analysis of distributions and cross-tables based upon national survey of 2005 family and the database of apartment price of Kookmin Bank are used. It is shown that the measure of housing wealth differs from other economic status measures in terms of distribution and the relations to other variables, such as attitude variables and consumption-related variables. Its results also suggest that the measure of housing wealth can be applied to various areas as a new measure of an individual's objective economic status, in such a way to improve applicability of social survey.

비정상적 위험에 대비한 자산운용방안

  • 본 연구에서는 비정상적 사건을 정의하고 이에 따른 비정상적 위험의 구체적인 유형을 파악하며, 이와 관련된 사학연금의 위험관리 체계에 대한 검토와 함께 비정상적 위험에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있는 자산운용방안을 제시하였다. 우선 비정상적 사건을 '과거 자료를 이용한 발생확률의 추정이나 발생여부에 대한 예측이 불가능하며 따라서 이의 발생 가능성을 사전에 고려하고 대비하는 사전적인 대처가 어려운 사건으로서 자산운용과 위험관리에 무시할 수 없는 영향을 미치는 사건'으로 정의하였으며, 이의 구체적인 형태로서 금융위기를 포함하는 9가지 사건 유형을 파악하였다. 동비정상적 사건들은 포트폴리오 투자를 통한 자산운용에서 개별자산군의 기대수익률과 위험 및 자산군 사이의 상관관계에 영향을 미쳐, 기존의 자산배분안의 최적성을 상실시키고 위험수준의 측정치인 VaR값을 과소 또는 과대추정하게 할 수 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 한편 비정상적 사건의 해외 사례에 대한 분석에서는 비정상적 사건의 영향이 개별 사건마다 다양한 양태로 발현되는 것이 관측되었다. 본 연구에서는 사학연금의 현행 자산배분 체계가 이와 같은 비정상적 사건의 영향에 적절하게 대응하기 어려운 상황이라고 진단하였으며, 비정상적 사건에 적절히 대응하기 위한 자산관리방안의 일환으로서 일별 수익률 자료를 사용한 비정상적 사건의 영향 평가방안을 제시하였다. 한편, 사학연금의 현행 위험관리 체계는 비정상적 사건의 발생에 적절하게 대응할 수 있는 것으로 평가되었다

Study about the Impacts of the Individual Department's Brand on the Formation of Government's Credibility (개별 부처 브랜드가 정부신뢰 형성 과정에 미치는 영향 연구)

  • This study recognized a individual central department of the government as an object that can be branded. Therefore, it was studied to understand the impact of the central department's brand equity on the credibility of the government. To evaluate the relationship between them, measurement items and hypothetical construct were developed based on the previous studies, then the impacts of the central department's brand equity on the government's credibility were assessed. To summarize, the measurement items developed based on the previous studies were refined to discover the components of the central department's brand equity. Then, factor analysis was performed. The results firstly showed that brand equity is consisted of awareness, functional and emotional assets. Secondly, it was found that awareness level of the central department has a positive impact on functional and emotional assets. Thirdly, functional and emotional assets of individual central department significantly affect the credibility of the central department. Lastly, the credibility of individual central departments positively influences the president's credibility. This study has an importance in a sense that it defines the elements of central department's brand equity, and provides a frame for an objective comparison.
