A Study on the influence of Perceived Organizational Support and Psychological Empowerment to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (조직지원인식 및 심리적 임파워먼트가 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated the impacts of perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment on organizational citizenship behavior. To accomplish this purpose, the authors conducted a survey of employees in manufacturing companies in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. A total of 272 questionnaires were used for the study. Hypotheses were tested through multiple regression analysis. As a result, perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment both positively affected organizational citizenship behavior. Perceived organizational support and psychological empowerment have less been studied as exploratory variables of organizational citizenship behavior. Therefore, the results of this study have many theoretical and practical implications.

The Effects of Procedural Justice on Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Local Public Enterprises: The Mediating Role of Intrinsic Motivation (지방공기업의 절차적 공정성이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향: 내재적 동기부여의 매개역할)

  • This study examined the effects of procedural justice on two facets of OCB (OCBI and OCBO) in local public enterprises and the mediating role of intrinsic motivation in these relationships. We verified the hypothesis established by a structural equation model based on PLS. The research data were collected through a survey of 269 employees working for local public enterprises. Research has shown that procedural fairness has a positive effect on intrinsic motivation, organizational citizenship behavior directed at individuals (OCBI), and organizational citizenship behavior directed at the organization (OCBO), while intrinsic motivation has a positive effect on OCBI and OCBO. In addition, intrinsic motivation has been found to have a partial mediating effect in the procedural justice-OCBI relationship and the procedural justice-OCBO relationship respectively. Finally, we present theoretical and practical implications that organizations need to activate intrinsic motivation so that members can induce voluntary organizational civic action through improved procedural fairness.

서비스접점 종업원의 조직시민행동이 호의적 구전에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 고객관점의 OCB를 중심으로 -

  • 본 연구는 기업의 성과를 향상시키는 중요한 요소로 알려진 종업원의 조직시민행동을 고객관점에서 측정하고, 관련 변수들인 서비스품질, 고객만족, 호의적 구전과의 인과관계를 실증적으로 규명해보고자 하였다. 그동안 마케팅에서 OCB에 관한 많은 연구가 있었지만, 선행 연구들은 조직의 관점에서 종업원의 OCB를 측정하는 연구가 대부분이었다. 자료 수집 단계에 있어 OCB의 효과를 좀 더 폭넓은 산업에 걸쳐 파악하고자 미용실과, 주점, 패스트푸드 점 등 다양한 서비스산업 이용자를 대상으로 설문지를 수집하였다. 분석결과, 접점종업원의 조직시민행동과 관련한 몇 가지 중요한 사항을 발견할 수 있었다. 첫째, 종업원의 OCB는 고객이 지각하는 서비스품질에 유의한 관계가 있었다. 즉, 고객들이 관찰하기에 종업원들이 규정된 역할을 초월하여 조직 내 동료들을 도와주고 고객의 편의성을 지향하며 그들이 속해 있는 조직에 대해 긍정적인 자세를 가지고 있는 것으로 판단되면, 고객들은 종업원을 신뢰하고, 또 그들에게서 제공받는 서비스품질을 높게 지각한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 조직시민행동은 서비스품질을 매개로 하여 고객만족에 간접적인 영향을 미친다는 사실을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 만족한 고객은 호의적인 구전행동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 구전은 기업의 공식적인 마케팅 전략 이상의 효과를 가지는 촉진 도구이다. 따라서 서비스조직은 고객의 성과를 향상시키기 위해 종업원의 OCB를 관리해야 함을 이해할 수 있었다.

Effects of Authentic Leadership and Perceived Organizational Support on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (진성리더십 및 조직지원 인식이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the effects of authentic leadership and organizational supports on the organizational citizens behavior of public welfare facility employee. Structural equation model with four latent variables were constructed to test the hypothetical relationships between variables. Out of 230 people from welfare facilities in Yong-in City were sampled and 216 were answered the questionnaire. Results suggests that authentic leadership and organizational support perceptions were shown to have a positive(+) significant effects on the job engagement and organizational citizenship behavior. Authentic leadership and perceived organizational support are effected as a direct positive effect on job engagement, and the influence of perceived organizational support was recognized as greater fact than the authentic leadership. Variable 'job engagement' took a intermediating role between two independent variables and organizational citizenship behavior. Based on the hypothesis test results we might conclude that welfare facility employee whose task require emotional engagement need to be supported by systematic plan of material resources.

  • 본 연구는 조직시민행동의 선행요인으로 조직관리 차원에서 주요하게 고려되고 있는 인사관리 공정성, 경영자 행동특성, 윤리경영 같은 원인(외생, 독립)변수가 매개변수인 경영자 신뢰 및 조직냉소주의를 매개하여, 이들이 결과(내생, 종속)변수인 직무태도 및 행동(조직시민행동, 직무만족, 정서적몰입)과 어떠한 인과관계를 갖고 있는지 이들의 관계를 규명하는데 주력하였다. 이에 본 연구는 포괄적인 모형을 통해 직무태도 및 행동에 영향을 미치는 변수들의 경로를 확인함으로써, 단편적인 분석에서는 알수 없었던, 직무태도 및 행동에 영향을 미치는 원인변수, 매개변수, 결과변수를 분명하게 확정짓는 실증적인 틀을 제공하고 있다. 즉 사회복지행정 분야에서 이제까지 접목하지 않았던 경영자 행동특성, 윤리경영 등 전반적인 사회복지조직관리와 관련된 변수들을 포괄하였으며, 이는 추 후 사회복지조직 혹은 사회복지사를 대상으로 진행되는 연구의 이론적인 기반을 구축하는데 기여한 논문이라는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

The Effect of Work-Life Balance on Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: The Mediating Role of Psychological Safety (일과 생활의 균형(WLB)이 조직몰입 및 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향: 심리적 안정감의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study to investigate is as follows. First, this study examines the effects of WLB on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior among domestic small and medium-sized company members. Second, this study examines the mediating effects of psychological safety on the WLB, and organizational commitment. Also, we will examine the mediating effects of psychological safety on the WLB, and organizational citizenship behavior. Third, the causal relationship between the dependent variables is verified. To test the hypothesis of this study, we analyze the statistics program using SPSS 25.0 and Macro Process. The results of this study through empirical research are as follows. First, WLB has a positive effect on organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Second, psychological safety was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between work-life balance and organizational commitment. Third, psychological safety was found to play a mediating role in the relationship between work-life balance and organizational citizenship behavior. Fourth, organizational commitment has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior.

Mediating effect of burnout between work-family conflict and organizational citizenship behavior and the moderating effect of Proactive Personality (일-가정 갈등과 조직시민행동간 직무소진의 매개효과와 주도적 성격의 조절효과)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the work-family conflict on the organizational citizenship behavior, to examine the mediating effect of burnout in that relation and to verify the moderating effect of proactive personality between burnout by work-family conflict and organizational citizenship behavior. For study samples, total 331 copies were collected from the members of hospitals and call centers in Daejeon, Sejong and Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongbuk-do. The results are as follows: firstly, it was found that, Work Interference with Family(WIF) had negative (-) effect on the organizational citizenship behavior. And, Family Interference with Work(FIW) had negative (-) effect on the organizational citizenship behavior. Secondly, there was a mediating effect of burnout between Work Interference with Family(WIF) and organizational citizenship behavior. And, there was no mediating effect of burnout between Family Interference with Work(FIW) and organizational citizenship behavior. Thirdly, proactive personality had a moderating effect between burnout due to work-family conflict and the organizational citizenship behavior. It proved that the relation between burnout due to work-family conflict and the organizational citizenship behavior through proactive personality of members concerning the negative effect of burnout caused by the work-family conflict at the workplace can be reduced by the proactive personality. It is significant in that this study proved the necessity of proactive personality of members in the work-family conflict. Therefore, more diverse personal characteristics should be considered as control variables in the future.

The Effect Organizational Justice on Organizational Citizenship Behavior focus on Nurses in Secondary Hospitals (임상간호사의 조직공정성이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 : 2차 의료기관을 대상으로)

  • Nursing service quality can vary depending on the work attitude and behavior of nurses. Nursing attitude and behavior that can be described as voluntary and proactive organizational citizenship behavior(OCB). OCB affects the work performance of nurses in clinical practice is very important and organizational justice is an important influencing factors of OCB. The purpose of this study was to determine the influential factors of organizational justice on OCB of nurses. The descriptive-correlational method was applied. The study was carried out less than a 500-bed hospital. Participants of the study included 230 nurses working in secondary hospitals. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression with the 18.0 SPSS/Window program. Considering the components of organizational justice, there was a significant positive correlation(r=.172~.540, p=.000) between OCB and distributive, procedural and interactional justice. Also, Total organizational justice explained 29.1% of total OCB with influencing factor (${\beta}$=.540) and was statistically significant(F=93.777, p=.000). The influencing factors to OCB were distributive justice(${\beta}$=.283) and interactional justice(${\beta}$=.249) except procedural justice. The findings suggest that strategies of nursing management are needed to focus on distributive justice for compensation and interactional justice for social relationship in order to induce nurses' organizational citizenship behavior.

The Effects of Employees' Emotional Intelligence upon Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Job Performance in the Foodservice Industry (외식업체 직원의 감성지능이 조직시민행동과 직무성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purposes of this study is to understand the influence of the employees' emotional intelligence in the foodservice industry on organizational citizenship behavior and job performance and to empirically analyze whether organizational citizenship behavior plays a mediating role between both the relations of the employees' emotional intelligence and job performance. Based on total 421 samples obtained from an empirical research, this study reviews the reliability and fitness of the research model and verifies a total of 3 hypotheses using the Amos program. The SEM results show that others' emotion appraisal, emotion use, self-emotion appraisal and emotion regulation among employees' emotional intelligence have a significantly positive effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Also, employees' organizational citizenship behavior have a significantly positive effect on job performance. In addition, the effect of the employees' emotional intelligence in the foodservice industry upon job performance find to be partially mediated by the organizational citizenship behavior.

  • The role of customers in product, service production and delivery is getting more important. Especially, customers' progressive participation in service circumstance bring to success of service delivery and improve service quality. Recently, the studies related to Customer Citizenship Behavior (CCB) which leaves to the discretion of customer is conducting in marketing area. However, the prior study concentrates on antecedents of CCB but it mixed antecedents of CCB and customer participation behavior. Also, there is insufficient related to the consequence of CCB in long-term relationship between service organization and customer. This study examines the effect of customer citizenship behavior on long-term orientation between service organization and customer. The results show that significant effects of citizenship behavior of customer. First, the relationship between customer's perception of justice and CCB was significant. Second, the relationship between customer's perception of support from service organization and CCB was significant. Third, the relationship between customer's perception of value and CCB was significant. Lastly, CCB significantly affect on Long-Term Orientation between service organization and customer.
