  • 국내 주거의 주종인 아파트의 구조형식은 벽식 철근콘크리트조로 경제성 때문에 대부분 고층으로 지어지고 있다. 철근 콘크리트구조 건물을 구체공사비중 상당부분이 거푸집공사에 투입되고 있다. 구체공사의 공기(工期)는 층당 소요일수로 산정할 수 있는데 공사비 절감 및 공기단축을 통한 시공효율상의 향상을 위해서는 지주시스템의 효율적인 전용(轉用)이 필수적이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 벽식구조 아파트의 현장조사를 토대로, 현재 사용되고 있는 지주시스템 및 바닥슬래브에 대한 응력해석을 수행하고, 이를 분석하여 공기단축의 가능성을 검토하였다.

  • Despite continuous efforts by the construction industry to achieve better quality, it doesn't seem that much has been improved. This is mainly because current specifications do not satisfy a change in the market environment, which is that a higher level of quality is now demanded by users. Quality improvement efforts have been satisfied merely to meet specifications. On the other hand, advanced countries have been experienced great success in their construction techniques and have reduced costs by introducing apay adjustment system to the construction industry, in which compensation is based on performance. Following their example, Koreashould introduce such a pay adjustment system in order to motivate the members of our construction industry to achieve better quality and a higher level of construction techniques. However, there has been a lack of a rational approach to the development of a system for cost coordination, as well as performance and quality inspection. Thus, in this study a legal and logical plan was developed that can be used to adjust the construction cost, along with the performance inspection of quality results, in order to introduce a pay adjustment system that is appropriate for domestic regulations.

  • 현재 국내에서 적용하고 있는 관내 최대유속기준 3.0m/s의 타당성을 평가하고자 SWMM 모형을 이용하여 최대유속 적용기준에 대한 우수관거 수리분석 연구를 수행하였다. 강우시 모니터링 지점의 우수유입에 따른 관내 실측결과와 검 보정을 통하여 모형을 구축하였으며, 설계빈도(10년 빈도) 홍수 유입시 관내 수리특성을 분석하였다. 관 최적 설계안 수립을 위한 관거 모델링 수행을 통해 관 경사, 조도계수 변화에 따른 관내 최대유속 민감도 분석을 수행하고 최대유속 기준 변화에 따른 최적설계안을 제시하였다. 일반적으로 우수관거 수리계산시 실무에서는 MAKESW 프로그램을 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 MAKESW가 반영하지 못하는 호우시 관거내 유속, 유량변화 시계열을 SWMM 모형을 통하여 우수관거 수리분석을 수행하였다. 실제 사업지구의 경우 MAKESW를 이용하여 설계된 관내 최대유속이 3.0m/s 이하 일지라도 월류, 압력류, 배수영향을 종합적으로 고려하는 SWMM 모형의 수행결과는 일부 관거에서 설계기준 이상의 유속이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 설계빈도 홍수량 유입시 관 경사, 조도계수 변화에 따른 관거 내 최대유속 민감도 분석을 수행한 결과, 관 경사가 5‰ 증가할 때 관내 최대유속은 약 4~26% 증가했으며, 관경사가 완만한 경우 관 경사 증가에 따른 최고유속의 증가 민감도는 더 커졌다. 관 조도계수에 따른 최고유속 분석결과 관 조도계수가 0.005 커질 때 최고유속은 약 30% 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 현재 국내의 최대 유속기준을 준수하려면 규정보다 훨씬 많은 맨홀 또는 암거의 낙차공을 설치해야 하기 때문에 공사비 증대를 초래할 수 있다. 아직 기본적인 연구단계지만 본 연구결과와 보완연구를 통하여 최적의 관내 최대유속 기준조건을 우수관거 설계계획에 반영한다면 공사비 절감, 공기단축 등의 효과가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The major objective of construction process control(CPC) is to provide construction managers with operational information that will help reduce project duration and save project cost. However, the CPC in Korea is being applied to construction projects with some basic problems such as the inconvenience of CPC S/Ws and the process control unconcerned with construction information classification system and computer system to integrate cost and schedule. This study analyzes the present condition of CPC including the basic problems, and then suggests the reform measures in technical and operational viewpoints to reduce construction risk. The focus of study is on the technical improvement for the application of construction information management system applicable to both cost estimating and schedule management.

  • The Construction New Excellent Technology was introduced to promote the development of domestic construction technology and enhance national competitiveness, by inspiring the development desire of technology developers in 1989. Domestic Construction New Excellent Technology is first introduced in 1989, the total 596 cases were assigned to the new technology and it was used the construction site. Also, it was achieved the quantitative performance of thirty-hundred applications and was effected to the domestic construction industry. However, the systematic analysis about the introduction effects of Construction New Excellent Technology are none. Therefore, the quantitative analysis of economic effects in construction industry have to a justification in according to operation of Construction New Excellent Technology system and verification of superiority. And then, the Construction New Excellent Technology system needs a developing base in the future. In this study, The Economic Impacts of Construction New Excellent Technology were analyzed in quantitatively such as a cost savings effects, the employment effects, the effects on Value-added, the import substitution effects due to use of Construction New Excellent Technology. This study will be used promotion of economics and superiority in the Construction New Excellent Technology.

Development of Precast Hollow Concrete Columns with Non-Shrink Mortar Grouting Type Splice Sleeve (무수축 모르타르 충진형 슬리브를 사용한 중공 프리캐스트 교각 개발)

  • In general, the precast columns can obtain its homogeneous quality as they are produced in a factory with a hollow concrete block type by using high strength concrete, so that they can generate the reduction of dead load. Such a method of precast hollow concrete columns is already implemented in USA and Japan and used for connecting between blocks which use PC tendons. However, it is inevitable to have uneconomical construction with excessive cost in early stage when PC tendons are used. This study aims to develop an economical precast column with high quality and constructability which consists of only splice sleeve and general reinforcing bar without using PC tendons in order to reduce the construction period and cost. To achieve this goal, this study tested the performance of total 5 minimized models in the experiment with the variables such as hollowness, diameter of main reinforcement bar and cross-sectional size for the cross section of precast column by using grouting type splice sleeve which is a new type joint rebar. And it also verified the performance of column in the experiment for a large-sized model in order to overview its applicability by excluding large scale effect.

  • Modular construction is one of the arising issues in the Korean construction industry due to shorter construction period and higher productivity on site. It is also expected that modular construction market would expand rapidly because of increasing demand of small houses by nuclear families and eco-friendly construction. However modular construction cases have been limited in Korea because of little demand in the market and the construction prices are even higher that the regular reinforced concrete methods. Even worse, because there is no standard bill of services exists in the industry, it may lead to the risk of construction expenses. So, the purpose of this study is focused on the development of bill of services which reflects characteristics and process of modular construction. In order to do this, the concepts and process of modular construction, WBS and CBS are analyzed. Analyses of the case studies and experts interview were executed so that proper principles for organizing bill of service of modular construction is established. Finally according to the 3 steps of modular construction, factory manufacturing, on-site modular construction and on-site general construction, the standard bill of services were suggested with the related coding system.

An Empirical Study for Cost Saving Effect Analysis When Using Seismic Reinforcing Bar (내진 보강용 철근 사용 시 비용 절감 효과 분석을 위한 실증적 연구)

  • Due to the enlargement and high-rise of reinforced concrete structure, the application of high functional material is required. However, high-strength bar is recently introduced to the country and the material is insufficient to measure the variation of quantity of rebar quantitatively when using high-strength bar. For these reasons, this study is to provide useful data in cost decision making when applying high-strength bar at a stage of architectural project planning. For residence-commerce complex buildings, we set up six types of conditions such as in case of using only rebar, in case of using only high-strength bar, in case of using rebar mixed with high-strength bar and so on. With the standard of study model 1 that applies only SD400 regardless of rebar diameter, the analyzed result of rebar variation and the cost change of construction in other study model is as follows. When the rebar amount and cost in study model I was 100%, each ratio was 88.3% and 90.5% in study model II, 80.2% and 83.4% in study model III, 91.9% and 93.5% in study model IV, 88.9% and 87.7% in study model V and 82.4% and 85.5% in study model VI. Therefore, in case of rebar amount and construction cost, study model III was evaluated as the best that was applied only SD600.

A Study of Improvements in the Standards of Cost Estimate for the New Excellent Technology in Construction (건설 신기술의 원가산정기준 개선방안에 대한 연구)

  • The New Excellent Technology (NET) designation system, introduced in 1989 for the purpose of promoting the development of domestic construction technology and enhancing national competitiveness, reviews the statement of construction cost of new technologies. And the cost reduction effect such as design, construction, and maintenance cost and the effect of reducing the construction duration are evaluated as an evaluation criteria of economic feasibility. However, in this evaluation process, differences of opinion between the institution of construction cost estimating standard management and the new technology developer about unique technologies frequently occur. In addition it is difficult to objectively compare the construction duration with existing similar technologies because there is no information on productivity as the current cost estimating standards for new technologies only present the required amount per unit quantity. In this study, the current state of cost estimating criteria review procedure, evaluation criteria, and cost estimating standards establishment method were analyzed when screening for the designation of a new construction technologies, and compared with overseas cost estimating standards, measures to improve the cost estimating standards of current construction new technologies were suggested. Through the improved cost estimating standards of this study, it is expected that cost information on new technologies will be provided to clients in more detail than the current ones, and the availability and applicability of new construction technologies would be improved by simplifying the construction cost calculation process more.

Experimental Study on Structural Behavior of Tapered non-compact Frame with Snug-tightened Conditions (밀착조임 볼트체결에 따른 판폭두께비가 큰 변단면 프레임의 구조성능에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Current trends in steel construction include using tapered, non-compact sections to minimize the use of excess material as much as possible by choosing the cross-sections instead of the classical approach of using prismatic members. In addition, snug conditions, especially the end-plate type, have the advantage of incurring less construction costs and shorter assembly times as opposed to full pre-tensioned conditions. On the other hand, it is important to predict the collapse of the PEB system due to over-loading. Large-scale tests of tapered steel portal frames with non-compact sections were conducted. The primary test parameters included the bolt connection method and the loading condition (vertical and horizontal load). The test results on initial stiffness and load capacity were investigated. Furthermore, comparisons between the analytical and experimental data for load-displacement curves were initiated. In addition, we evaluated the applicability of a snug bolt for the PEB frame in the field.
