  • 실린더로부터 Prandtl수가 0.7인 주변공기로 전달되는 혼합대류 열전달현상을 Stream-Vorticity 함수로 표시된 재배방정식으로부터 유한차분법으로 분석하였다. Nusselt수와 실린더 주변의 온도분포가 조사된 제1편에 이어 Reynolds수와 Gradhof수가 실린더 주변의 공기속도분포, 경계층 박리지점(Separation point), 실린더 표면에서의 마찰계수 및 실린더 주변에서의 압력분포에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 다의어의 현실적인 의미 분포의 결정에 대해 이야기 하고자 한다. 수동으로 구축한 의미체계인 사전이나 시소러스들은 그 의미구분의 경개가 모호하고 비현실적인 부분이 많아서 언어처리 시스템의 적용에 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 그러므로, 본 연구에서는 대용량 코퍼스에서 추출한 공기정보와 자동 군집화 방법들을 사용하여 실질적인 다의어의 의미 경계를 발견하는 방법을 제안하였다. 수동 구축된 사전과 코퍼스 기반 사전의 다의어 의미 분포와 비교해 본 결과, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 결과가 코퍼스 기반 사전의 의미 분포와 매우 유사한 결과를 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Applicability of the Decision Aids for Tunneling (DAT) technique is investigated in this study to better understand the efficiency of the decision making process during tunnel construction. For this, a traffic tunnel under construction is adopted and information on the construction procedure, i.e., overall geology, unit cost and construction time for each excavation process, is provided periodically. Various scattergrams in which cost-time simulation results are plotted are obtained according to the simulation methods and final prediction on the construction time/cost is made. It is found that the uncertainty in the cost distribution is greater than the uncertainty in the time distribution for each cycle simulation and the uncertainties in time and cost for the one time simulations are comparable. Future work will be concentrated on the updating scheme using the face mapping data and various parametric studies will also be performed.

  • In the study, aeroelastic behaviors and aerodynamic performances of flexible airfoil in low Reynolds number environment are evaluated. To facilitate the present study, flexible airfoil in modeled through attaching massless membrane in portion of the upper CLARK-Y airfoil surface, which is often proposed low Reynolds number airfoil. The behavior of membrane in governed by aerodynamic forces and membrane equilibrium equation. Nondimensional parameter deducted by nondimensionalizing the membrane equilibrium equation, which represents the interaction between fluid and membrane has a great influence on membrane aeroelastic behavior. Changing the starting point of the membrane is conducted on aerodynamic performances. As a result, the value of nondimensional parameter should almost linearly increase according to moving the starting point of the membrane surface toward the trailing edge.

  • 미분탄 연소시 발생하는 질소산화물(NOx)은 석탄의 형태 및 등급에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 석탄에 함유되어 있는 질소 성분은 준역청탄인 경우 촤보다 휘발분에 많이 분포되어 있으며, 역청탄인 경우 촤에 많이 분포되어 있음을 확인하였다. 석탄에 함유되어 있는 질소의 분포에 따라 연속과정에 의해 최대로 발생할수 있는 질소산화물의 양과 질소산화물로 전환되는 정도를 예측할 수 있었다. NOx 방출은 석탄중에 함유되어 있는 질소성분의 양에 영향을 받으며, 고온 노출 시 방출되는 휘발성분의 양의 증가 그리고 공기비를 감소함으로서 질소산화물의 저감율을 증가시킬 수 있었다. 특히 질소산화물의 환원은 연료가 풍부한 조건에서 연소초기 고온으로 연소하는 경우 효과적이었다. 또한 2단 연소에 의한 방법으로 1단에서는 저공기비로 유지하고 2단에서 추가적인 공기를 공급함으로서 최종 공기비는 1.2인 조건에서 효과적으로 NOx를 저감할 수 있었다.

A Study on Self-Similarity in Turbulent Hydrogen Jet Flames with Coaxial Air (동축공기 수소확산 화염의 자기상사성에 대한 연구)

  • Experiments have been performed using two-color PIV in hydrogen non-premixed flames with various conditions of coaxial air, which was classified into three cases with/without reaction. Mean velocity, turbulence intensity and Reynolds stress were analyzed using flow fields from PIV measurement First, the similarity of pure jet had a good agreement with previous results of other researchers. It was found that the decay of centerline velocity was proportional to $x^{-1}$ in coaxial air conditions. By normalizing axial distance with effective jet diameter defined by effective density, the data of centerline velocity collapsed a single line. And the radial profiles of mean velocity showed that they didn't become self-similar because the curves differed from each other as coaxial air velocity increased at fixed fuel velocity. Also, turbulence intensity became self-similar further downstream than mean velocity.

  • 현대인의 경우 대부분이 하루 중 80% 이상의 시간을 어떤 형태의 가정, 사무실, 공공건물, 학교, 병원, 지하시설물, 상가, 음식점, 자동차, 지하철 등의 실내공간에서 생활하고 있으며, 특히 어린이와 노약자, 병약자들의 경우 대부분의 시간을 실내에서 보내고 있는 실정에 있어 실내공기오염이 인체에 미치는 영향은 크다고 할 수 있다. 실내환경에는 대기환경과는 달리 물리적, 화학적, 생물학적으로 매우 다양한 오염물질들은 복합적인 배출원에서 기인되며 그 배출량은 물질에 따라 상당히 편차가 있을 뿐 아니라 오염물질 농도분포 역시 시간적, 공간적 특성에 따라 다양하게 나타날 수 있으며, 실내공기의 상태는 일차적으로 외부공기의 영향을 받게 되고 이차적으로는 담배연기, 스토브, 오븐, 시멘트, 건축자재, 페인트 및 벽면의 입자상 물질 등과 같은 실내오염원으로부터 영향을 받아 오염상태가 심해진다.   • SAI(Secondary Air Injection) system has been studied widely as one of the promising countermeasure for reducing HC emission at cold start. In this paper, in order to find out the optimal position of SAI, computational thermal fluid analysis on exhaust system adapted SAI system is performed using commercial 3-D CFD code, CFX. The present results showed that SAI position strongly affected the uniformity of air distribution in front of catalyst. And also through the decision process of optimal position of SAI, new index, uniformity of air distribution($U_{\phi}$) is proposed to define it quantitively. Because $U_{\phi}$ is very simple equation and similar with flow uniformity, it is very easy to figure out the physical meaning and to apply it to practices. Finally, we applied the index $U_{\phi}$ to the decision process of the optimal position of SAI, so that we could get the clear comparison results.

  • Temperature and velocity controlling of air at inlet position of Ramjet combustor is important under Ramjet engine grounding-test condition since temperature of inlet air increases due to compression process by supersonic flow at inlet position of Ramjet combustor. In this study, Vitiated Air Heater methodology was used to control temperature of air that is inducted into Ramjet combustor. Temperature and velocity of air at Vitiated air heater exit, which is inducted into Ramjet combustor, were measured to evaluate Vitiated air heater system developed in this study. It is shown that temperature and velocity of inducted air can be well controlled using Vitiated air heater system developed in this study, and we could make a Vitiated Air which is almost same with real air.

The Experimental Study of Distribution Characteristics of Lift-force Acting under Pier Deck (잔교상판(棧橋床板)에 작용(作用)하는 양압력(揚壓力) 분포특성(分布特性)에 관한 실험적(實驗的) 연구(硏究))

  • This study describes the characteristics of distribution of lift-force acting under pier deck through physical experiment. The shape of peak wave pressure was sharp when compressed air existed but was not sharp without that. Values of lift-force was different between edge point and center point in the same block. Distribution of lift-force was expressed differently owing to dimensionless of deck length (l/L), wave steepness (H/L), clearance height per wave height (D/H). The dimensionless factor of D/H affected on the lift-force the clearance between still water surface and decks. This decided the maximum of lift-force. In the case of the same values of D/H, the lift-force are changed by the wave steepness (H/L). Because (D/H) become smaller as the wave steepness (H/L) is increased the height of decks must be decided with the condition which don't have the clearance with $D_{max}$ for the stable design of deck of pier. Effect of reducing lift force was greater in the on-shore than the off-shore according to compressed air existence. This researches points out that design of deck should retain compressed air in order to reduce wave lift force.
