Comparison to Rainfall Runoff Rate in Sand Loam Alpine Fields (사질양토 고랭지 밭의 강우에 따른 유출량 비교)

  • 강원도 평창군 대관령면 횡계리에 위치한 고랭지 밭 2개소를 2009년 3월부 2009년 12월까지 유출이 발생한 강우사상에 대하여 모니터링하고, 유출량을 비교하였다. 모니터링 지점 A에는 콘크리트 배수로가 설치되어있어 밭에서 발생한 강우유출수가 유입되면 빠르게 하천으로 배수되기 때문에 17.2 mm ~ 36.2 mm의 강우에도 유출이 발생하였다. 모니터링 지점 B는 콘크리트 배수로로 유입되기 전 자연(흙) 배수로가 존재하기 때문에 밭에서 발생한 강우유출수가 자연(흙)배수로로 침투되어 적은 강우에서는 유출이 발생하지 않고, 60 mm 이상의 강우에서만 유출이 발생하였다. 특히 7월 9일 발생한 강우에 의하여 모니터링 지점 B의 자연(흙) 배수로가 토사로 메워졌으며, 메워진 토사에 의해 자연(흙)배수로의 기능을 상실한 후부터 지속적으로 유출되었다. 이는 자연(흙) 배수로의 관리가 매우 중요하다는 점을 더욱 강조시키는 결과이며, 강우 발생 후 토사의 제거 등의 관리가 이루어졌다면 강우유출수와 비점오염물질의 유출이 더욱 감소하였을 것으로 판단된다. 자연(흙) 배수로는 식생에 의해 강우타격력과 유속이 작아지기 때문에 자연(흙)배수로의 공극이 막히는 현상이 줄어든다. 공극 막힘 현상이 줄어들면 토양 침투력이 보호되어 강우유출수가 저감된다. 강우유출수의 감소는 비점오염물질의 유출도 저감시킬 수 있는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 고랭지 밭 지역의 최적관리방안으로 무분별한 콘크리트 배수로의 설치보다는 자연(흙) 배수로의 유지와 관리에 초점이 맞추어져야 할 것으로 판단된다.

Soil Physicochemical Properties by applied with Mixed Ratio Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) Casts (동애등애 분변토의 혼합비율에 따른 토양이화학적 특성)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the mixture ratio of a soldier fly casts (SFC), compost and cocopeat on the soil physicochemical properties. The mixture ratios of soil amendment were 0%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 10% (V/V) incorporated with sand which met to the USGA particle standard. To analyze the effects of amendments on soil chemical properties, pH and EC were measured. The porosity, capillary porosity, air-filled porosity, bulk density and hydraulic conductivity also measured to analyze the physical properties. Chemical properties were significantly different by mixture ratios of a SFC, compost and cocopeat. Capillary porosity was a factor involved in soil physical properties by blending with a SFC and compost. It was affected on the volume of porosity or hydraulic conductivity. To analyze the correlation of mixture ratio versus to physical characters, the ratios of SFC were significantly different in capillary porosity, air-filled porosity, and hydraulic conductivity. These results indicated that mixing ratios of SFC were affected on soil physicochemical properties such as porosity and hydraulic conductivity of the root zone on the USGA sand green.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차 전장용 3상 BLDC 전동기의 출력특성 향상을 위해 비대칭 공극 구조 설계 방법에 대해 연구하였다. SPM 타입 BLDC 전동기의 공극을 비대칭적으로 설계함으로써 자기적 토크 외에도 릴럭턴스 토크가 발생하게 된다. 따라서 전류 당 토크의 증가로 인해 출력특성을 향상시켰으며 2D 유한요소해석을 통해 본 논문의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 공극이 있는 인덕터의 임피던스는 공극 내에 도전율이 있는 물체가 삽입 될 때, 와전류가 발생하여 임피던스의 변화가 생긴다. 이 현상을 이용하여 도체의 종류 및 불순물을 판단할수 있는 장치를 구현하였다. 이를 위해 자기회로법을 이용하여 인덕터를 설계하였고, 전자장 시뮬레이션을 통해 특성을 해석하였다. 또한 실제 시스템을 구현함으로써 해석결과와 실험결과를 비교하였다.

Effect of Fractionated Organic Matter on Membrane Fouling (분류된 천연유기물질을 이용한 막 오염 특성 평가)

  • As a results of this research, the Nakdong River consisted of 43% of hydrophobic fraction, 39% of hydrophilic fraction, and 18% of transphilic fraction. The hydrophobic fraction in this raw water was mostly fulvic acid. Fulvic acid comprised of 62% and the rest was humic acid(38%). There was more carboxylic acid functional roup(64%) than phenolic group(36%). HPI-N and HPI-C comprised of 17% and 22% in the hydrophilic portion, respectively. The results of the membrane fouling test using UF membrane according to NOM fractions. HPI-N caused more fouling than HPI-C. Humic acid caused more fouling than fulvic acid probably due to higher adsorption capacity. Since humic acid has higher adsorption capacity than fulvic acid, it would be more adsorbed onto the membrane pores. The carboxylic acid functional group caused more fouling than the phenolic group.

A Case Study on Spatting Distresses in Cold Regions (추운 지역의 스폴링 파손 사례에 관한 연구)

  • Field and laboratory investigations were performed for concrete pavement of the Yeongdong Expressway located in western part of the Kangwon Province where lots of the substantially large spatting distresses were found. The spatting distresses were investigated to the naked eye in the field, and splitting tensile strength, air void, and neutralization tests were performed for the cores obtained from the pavement. In addition, load transfers at joints and dynamic bearing capacities at slab centers were measured to identify the lowering of the structural capability of the pavement. It was judged that the investigated concrete slabs were affected by freezing and thawing action because the air voids of the cores were substantially low. Therefore, it was concluded that the low air voids affected the lots of the large spatting distress in the pavement located in the region of cold winter.

Dynamic Response of Underground Openings Considering the Effect of Water Saturation (지하수의 영향을 고려한 지하공동구조체의 동적응답)

  • Three-dimensional dynamic analysis of underground openings subjected to explosive loadings considering the effects of water saturation is carried out in this study. The surrounding rock mass is assumed to be the limestone with 13.5% of porosity. Two calculations are compared using as identical explosive charge; the first in dry rock of 13.5% porosity, the second in the identical rock, but in a fully saturated condition. It is shown that velocity, displacement, and stress time histories are higher in saturated rock than those in dry rock through numerical studies. It is also shown that underground openings in saturated rock masses could be significantly more vulnerable to the potential damages associated with shear failure than those in dry medium.

  • Anisotropy observed in sedimentary rock such as sandstone is mainly caused by existence of bedding consequently influencing on its hydraulic characteristics. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of locally changing pore structure due to bedding on the hydraulic anisotropy of sandstone, in terms of localized porosity. X-ray CT scan is applied to observe the internal pore structures which is hard to be seen by other experimental methods. Permeability test is also conducted for samples cored at every $15^{\circ}$ from $0^{\circ}$ to $90^{\circ}$ with respect to bedding plane. As a result, the permeability anisotropy is manifest having 1.8 of anisotropy ratio ($k_{90^{\circ}}/k_{0^{\circ}}$) and corresponds with the anisotropy of porosity due to bedding.

Analysis for Steel Corrosion-Induced Damage in Cross-Section of Reinforced Concrete (철근부식에 의한 철근 콘크리트 단면의 손상 해석)

  • In this study, a development of the rust formation arising from steel corrosion was modelled to quantify the structural impact in steel reinforced concrete. The interfacial gap, cover depth and diameter of steel rebar were taken for variables in modelling. It was found that the interfacial gap was the most influencing on the structural limit at steel corrosion, followed by steel diameter and cover depth. At 75 mm of cover depth with 20 mm of the steel diameter, the rust amount to reach cracking accounted for 16.95-27.69 ㎛ to 1-10 ㎛ of the interfacial gap. It was found that there was no risk of cracking and structural limit until the rust was formed within the interfacial gap. With a further formation of rust, the concrete section was successively behaved to yielding, cracking and failure. Additionally, the interfacial gap was the most dominant parameter for the rust amount to reach the cracking of concrete at the interfacial zone, whilst the cover depth had a marginal effect on cracking but had a crucial influence on the rust to failure.

  • 본 연구는 자기부상력의 선형 및 비선형효과가 이동중인 자기부상열차의 부상공극에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 자기공극의 피드백을 포함한 1자유도 차량에 대한 운동방정식을 구성하고, 최적능동제어기법을 적용하여 수치해석을 수행하였다. 해석결과 차량의 속도가 증가함에 따라 자기부상력의 선형 및 비선형효과가 자기부상차량의 부상공극에 미치는 영향에 뚜렷한 차이가 발생함을 알 수 있다. 결국 자기부상열차의 정확한 해석을 위해서는 자기부상력의 비선형효과를 고려한 해석이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
