A Study on the Delay Analysis Methodologies in Construction of Korea High Speed Railway (경부고속철도 건설사업의 공기지연분석에 관한 연구)

  • To analyze delay, Seoul - Daegu line of Korea High Speed Railway was divided into three sections and analyzed independently by the business characteristics. The analysis on the project delay reasons was performed on macro and micro scales. This analytic method was named as 'Macro-Micro Delay Analysis Method (MMDAM)'. The macro scale analysis has three approaches, which are (1) scheduling, (3) structural characteristic, (3) and responsibility of project administrative works. Micro analysis also has three, methodologies which are (1) As Planned Method, (2) As Built method, (3) Modified Time Impact Analysis for analyzing the most influential section which the largest delay occurred. Using elicited project delay reasons from above analysis, the questionnaire was carried out for analyzing the influence of project delay reason. The reasons of the delay were driven from two different aspects (1) structural characteristic and (2) responsibility of the people involved in the project. The reasons that were identified from aforementioned three sections are the factors of the delay of the large-scale government driven projects. Finally, the author suggested the methodology of identifying the project delaying factors. The author also analyzed delay reasons in both the overseas and domestic cases of high rapid railway construction and has elicited some benchmarks for the future projects.

Accurate Assembly and Concurrent Design of Airframe Structures (항공기체구조의 정밀조립 및 동시설계 기술)

  • In design and manufacturing airframe structures which are composed of a lot of sub-assemblies and large complex profile shapes it is difficult to reduce so called hardware variations. Accordingly cost increasing factors for manufacturing airframe parts are much more than other machine parts because of the variability of fabricated details and assemlies. To improve cost and quality, accurate assembly methods and DPD techniques are proposed in this paper which are based upon using CAD/CAM techniques, the concept of KC's and the coordinated datum and index throughout the design, tooling, manufacturing and inspection. The proposed methods are applied to produce fuselage frame assemblies and related engineering aspects are described regarding the design of parts and tools in the context of concurrent digital definition. First articles and consequent mass production of frame assemblies shows a great improvement of the process capability ratio from 0.7 by the past processes to 1.0 by the proposed methods in addition to the cost reduction due to the less number of tools, reduced total assembly times and the space compaction needed by massive inventory. The need to achieve better Cpk, however, and future studies to be investigated will be addressed briefly.

  • 기후변화에 적응하기 위해 많은 나라들이 수자원 관리 전략을 마련하고 있으며, 대체 수자원 활성화 방안에 관심을 기울이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 대체 수자원 활성화 방안 중 빗물 저류지의 용량 결정 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 빗물 저류지의 용량을 결정하기 위해 메타 휴리스틱 방법 중 하나인 입자 군집 최적화(particle swarm optimization; PSO)를 선정하였다. 이는 기존 실제 설계에 사용되고 있는 시행착오법보다 시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 최적화 모형은 python의 pyswarm package를 이용해 구성하였다. 모형의 입력자료는 저류지 유입량과 목표 공급량, 목표 보장률이고, 목적함수는 빗물 저류지 용량의 최소화이다. 제약조건은 모의된 보장률이 목표 보장률 이상을 달성하는 것이다. 여기서, 보장률은 전체 모의 기간 중 목표 공급량을 공급한 기간의 비율이다. 제시한 방법론의 적용성을 검토하기 위해 실제 저류지가 설계된 인천의 청라지구 1공구를 선정하여 적용하였다. 최적화 모형의 입력 유입량은 SWMM으로 산정된 1995년부터 2004년까지의 유출량이며, 목표 공급량은 실제 설계에 활용된 용수 목적별 요구 수량이다. 여기서 용수 목적별 요구 수량은 대상지역의 노면 청소수, 화장실 세정수, 호수 유지수 등이다. 산정 결과 계산 시간은 약 30초 소요되며, 목표 보장률을 만족하는 저류지 용량이 결정되었다. 본 연구에 제시한 방법은 제약조건이 추가되어도 기존 시행착오법에 비해 간편함을 확인하였다.

A Field Construction of PSC Girders with 60MPa Cast-in-Place High-Strength Concrete (60MPa급 현장 타설 고강도 PSC 거더의 시험 시공)

  • The most effective factors that improve sections and elongate spans of the prestressed concrete girders are shapes of sections and strengths of concretes, and the concrete strength is more influenced to enhance the allowable tensile strength on top and bottom fibers than increasing of flexural strength of girders. In this study, 60 MPa high-strength prestressed concretes were constructed at the Wonsoo Bridge where in the 1st section of expanding constructions of the Nonsan to Junjoo Expressway, the high-strength concrete was placed on the eight- 35 meters simple span IPC girders of four lanes of Nonsan direction. During casting of girder concretes, quality controls were carried out with continuing controls of surface moistures and corrections of the unit water using the air-meter methods right after batching. It was confirmed that compressive strengths of girder concretes ensure the target strength and the heat of hydrations of girder concrete were measured. Though using same materials and constructing methods, there're a wide range of strengths of each girder, so, when high-strength concretes cast in the place hereafter, a countermove should be prepared.

A Study on the Improvement of Daily Inspection for the Safety of University Laboratory - Based on Delphi surney - (대학 연구실 안전을 위한 일상점검 개선방안에 관한 연구 - 델파이 조사를 기반으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a more effective daily checklist than the formal routine check before the experiment to prevent accidents in the university laboratory. To do this, we reconstructed the current daily checklist and previous research data and conducted a second Delphi survey. As a result, there were four general safeties such as arranging the laboratory, three mechanical safeties such as abnormal condition of machine and tool tightening parts, three electric safeties such as prohibition of loading around the electric distribution panel, six chemical safeties such as handling and managing harmful factors, three items of fire safety such as fire extinguisher inspection, five cases of gas safety gas container inspection, one item of biological safety such as the state of hand sterilizer management and one other item, which were provided in the daily checklist as twenty six categories in total. According to the opinions of related experts, it is necessary to have an easy and simplified daily checklist for actual daily checkups.

  • 전 세계적으로 많은 나라들이 기후변화에 적응하기 위해 수자원 관리 전략을 마련하고 있으며, 수자원의 근간이 되는 빗물의 효율적 사용을 위해 우리나라에서도 빗물이용시설이 많이 도입되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자 편의 환경(graphical user interface; GUI)을 갖춘 빗물이용시설의 용량 결정 프로그램(capacity design aid for rainwater harvesting; CARAH)을 개발하여 관련 연구와 업무에 활용성을 높이고자 하였다. CARAH는 저수지 질량 보존식과 python의 pyswarm package에 탑재된 메타 휴리스틱 방법 중 하나인 입자 군집 최적화(particle swarm optimization; PSO) 기법을 연계하여 빗물이용시설의 최적 용량을 짧은 시간에 결정될 수 있도록 개발되었다. 그리고, C#의 Windows Forms Application을 이용하여 사용자 편의 환경을 구현하였다. CARAH의 입력 자료는 모의 기간, 유입량, 목표공급량, 공급보장률이고, 출력 자료는 공급보장률-저류조용량, 목표공급량-실공급량-미달성량, 저류용량-유입량-실공급량이다. 빗물이용시설 계획에 필요한 여러 입력 자료를 쉽게 입력할 수 있도록 구현하였고, 그래프와 표의 형태로 계산된 결과를 화면에 직접 표출함으로써 사용자가 직관적으로 확인할 수 있도록 하였다. 한편, 입·출력 자료를 포함한 분석 결과는 파일로 관리할 수 있도록 기능을 갖추어 수정 및 보완 등의 반복적 활용이 가능하도록 하였다. 개발된 프로그램의 활용성을 검토하기 위해 실제 저류지가 설계된 인천의 청라지구 1공구를 대상으로 적용하였고, 분석 결과의 적절성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 CARAH는 빗물이용시설의 용량 결정에 관한 효율을 높일 수 있는 프로그램이고, 누구나 쉽고 간편하게 사용할 수 있는 프로그램으로서 향후 활용성이 높을 것으로 판단된다.

Development of Time-Cost Trade-Off Algorithm for JIT System of Prefabricated Girder Bridges (Nodular GIrder) (프리팹 교량 거더 (노듈러 거더)의 적시 시공을 위한 공기-비용 알고리즘 개발)

  • In the case of the construction industry, the relationship between process and cost should be appropriately distributed so that the finished product can be delivered at the minimum fee within the construction period. At that time, it should be considered the size of the bridge, the construction method, the environment and production capacity of the factory, and the transport distance. However, due to various reasons that occur during the construction period, problems such as construction delay, construction cost increase, and quality and reliability degradation occur. Therefore, a systematic and scientific construction technique and process management technology are needed to break away from the conventional method. The prefab(Pre-Fabrication) is a representative OSC (Off-Site Construction) method manufactured in a factory and constructed onsite. This study develops a resource and process plan optimization system for the process management of the Nodular girder, a prefab bridge girder. A simulation algorithm develops to automatically test various variables in the personnel equipment mobilization plan to derive the optimal value. And, the algorithm was applied to the Paju-Pocheon Expressway Construction (Section 3) Dohwa 4 Bridge under construction, and the results compare. Based on construction work standard product calculation, actual input manpower, equipment type, and quantity were applied to the Activity Card, and the amount of work by quantity counting, resource planning, and resource requirements was reflected. In the future, we plan to improve the accuracy of the program by applying forecasting techniques including various field data.

A Case Study of Electronic-blasting, Railroad Tunnel to Pass under Existing Highway (기존 고속도로 하부 통과를 위한 철도터널 전자발파 시공사례)

  • In this "Wonju~Jaecheon double-lanes railroad" project, a highway is located at about 13meter above a tunnel. Initially, rock-splitting method was used for the tunnel excavation in order to minimize the possible damage on the highway. The method, however, takes a long time for the tunnel excavation and that may cause other problems like large displacement of tunnel and subsidence of highway ground before the tunnel can be stabilized by supporters. Therefore, the application of electronic blasting method(eDdevII) was recommended to control the blast vibration below 1.0cm/sec as well as to prevent the subsidence of highway ground. The analysis of the influence of tunnel excavation on the highway showed that electric blasting method is permissible for the safe management of the highway. Based on that, the tunnel construction under a highway could be carried out quickly and safely without any damages on the highway.

Conceptual Cost Estimation Model Using by a Parametric Method for High-speed Railroad (매개변수기법을 이용한 고속철도 노반공사의 개략공사비 예측모델)

  • There is currently applied to the unit cost per a distance (KRW/km) for estimating the conceptual cost of civil work on basic planning stage of high speed railroad. This unit cost is an arithmetic average value based on historical data, which could be in big error. It also is difficult to explain the deficiency comparing the estimated cost derived from next basic design stage. This study provides the conceptual estimation model using by the parametric method and regression analysis. Independent variables are the distance and the geological materials (earth, weathered rock, soft-rock, hard-rock), extracting from the actual data to 36 contracts. The deviation between the unit costs estimated using the developed model and the actual cost data is presented in the range from -0.4% to +31%. This range is acceptable compared the typical range "-30% to + 50%". This model will improve the accuracy of existing method and be expected to contribute to effective total cost management and the economic aspects, reduce the financial expenditure.

  • In this paper, we design and implement a contest application that enables artists to participate in contest activities, manpower, and job information using smart-phone, and to share and systematically manage the information. While the competition is very important for the artists, it is not easy for them to search the competition information due to lack of time. Therefore, it is effective to provide them with contest information suitable for their interests and to be more immersed in creative activities by sharing them. The core function is to provide a space where artists can share contests in real time through the contest bulletin board and aims to provide a variety of functions for convenient convenience, such as buying and selling of works by artists and spoon market for purchasing materials and art tools do.
