Due to its intrinsic characteristic, exterior bus advertising is exposed to an unspecified number of the general public. Thus it influences on the urban publicness of the city, simply beyond leaving it as a personal marketing activity toward the industry's profit. Seoul city's campaign to improve exterior bus advertising has been to effective in removing advertisements of alcohols, tobaccos, and lascivious contents, however, there still are several advertisements that should be examined from the view point of publicness. For the case of UK, where exterior bus advertising is also actively utilizing owing to its high exposure and effectiveness, they are administrating it by setting up guidelines and regarding the importance of publicness. I also identified the meaning of publicness of exterior bus advertising from the aspects of 'publicness of territories', 'publicness of subjects', 'publicness of reasoning', and 'publicness of procedures'. Through this, I suggested that both commercial right of exterior bus advertising in the private sector and citizen's right of publicness can be harmoniously developed by properly controlling and administrating the exterior bus advertising. Furthermore, artistic approach to the exterior bus advertising from the viewpoint of city environment is expected to elevate the aesthetic possession and the level of design sense of citizens.

Recently, the need to introduce bus lines on a welfare basis is increasing as public intervention in bus routes is accelerated through semi-public bus system. The main objective of this study is to establish the concept of PSO (public service obligation) bus line on a welfare basis and propose a classification method of PSO bus line under semi-public bus system. We introduced 3 indexes such as "equity" in terms of bus line distribution, "publicity" in terms of age distribution, and "profitability" in terms of bus operating revenues. On the basis of 3 indexes, we introduced the PSO bus line, which is fair and public, even if it is not profitable. Based on the concept established in this study, we divided 130 ordinary city bus lines in Busan Metropolitan City into 8 PSO bus lines. Also, considering the positive impact of public buses, which are less profitable, but improve the mobility of residents and secure public community, we suggested the need to introduce public buses in bus service shortage areas.

The pandemic over the past three years has brought drastic changes in our lives, and those changes are now becoming a natural part of our daily lives. Daily life and economic activities based on online, such as video conferencing, remote classes, telecommuting, and online streaming services, have become daily routines after Corona. And the result of rapid development of communication and graphic technology is the metaverse. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to study the possibility from the perspective of public design for the correct use of the metaverse space of local governments. To this end, in this study, big data analysis was performed on 'local government', 'public design', and 'metaverse'. As a result of this study, we should actively use metaverse with high topic and potential as a space for local governments' promotion or discussion as a means to restore the reliability of local governments and overcome negative perceptions. In addition, it is necessary to actively reflect public design in order to increase the public reliability of local governments' metaverse.

In this paper, with analysis of the public facilities using solar panel, typical bus shelters are investigated. The present status of these facilities in the field of structural design, the meaning of the bus shelters in the part of structural engineering and domestic and foreign examples are analysed. Finally, we indicate some problems in the domestic bus shelters using solar panel and suggest new ideas.

As non-face-to-face elements became important due to COVID-19, the metaverse received social attention, and the MZ generation became the main users of public libraries. In light of this trend, it is necessary to introduce services for the MZ generation, the main users of public libraries, and to provide services tailored to social development. Therefore, this study investigated the perception of the metaverse through questionnaire surveys and semi-structured interviews, centered on the MZ generation, and then proposed a method for applying the metaverse to users in public libraries. According to the results of the study, the direction for the introduction of the metaverse in public libraries was suggested. First, it is necessary to provide basic education and information about the metaverse. Second, it is necessary to provide services that take advantage of the community based on communication. Third, a program that is not constrained by time and space should be provided. Fourth, services by librarians should be provided by enhancing the librarians' expertise on the metaverse. Fifth, services for generation M must be provided.

The global pandemic and the development of virtual and augmented reality technologies have led a metaverse boom that enables a lot of interactions in virtual worlds, and is being utilized in various fields such as business, government, and education etc. Despite the growing interest in the metaverse, its scope and definition are still unclear and the concept is still evolving, making it challenging to establish its governance. Governmental entities are also investing intensively in public metaverses to make public value and promote social welfare, but they are underutilized due to lack of systematic governance. Therefore, in this study, we propose a public metaverse governance framework and identify the relative importance of the factors. Furthermore, since a public metaverse should be accessible to anyone who wants to use, we explore the factors of shadow work and examine the ways to minimize it. Based on the socio-technical system theory, we derived public metaverse governance factors from previous literature and topic modeling and then generate a framework with 23 factors through expert interviews. We then tested relative priority of the factors using the analytic hierarchical process (AHP) from the experts. As a result, the top five overall rankings are: 'roles and responsibilities', 'standardization/modularization', 'collaboration and communication', 'law and policies', and 'availability/accessibility'. The academic implications of this study are that it provides a comprehensive framework for public metaverse governance, and then the practical implications include suggesting prioritized considerations for metaverse operations in the public sector.

대부분의 국가들이 노선버스의 운영을 공공부문에서 담당하고 있으나 우리나라를 비롯한 일부에서만 민간이 운영하고 있어 시민들을 위한 공익성만을 추구 할 수는 없는 입장이며 노선의 선정 또한 사업자와 공공이 협의하여 시행할 수밖에 없다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 버스노선 개편, 공동배차제 등 개선방안을 많은 지자체에서 시행하였지만 시민${\cdot}$업체${\cdot}$공공부문에서의 합의 도출은 지난한 상황이며 실행력이 없는 계획이 되고 있음을 여러 사례에서 볼 수 있다. Internet등 통신기술의 급속한 발달에 따라 통신을 통한 의사표출이 자유롭고 용이해지면서 일반지자체의 경우에 전체 민원 중 교통부문이 차지하는 민원이 $50\%$를 상회하고 있으며, 교통민원 중 $45.3\%$가 노선버스의 정시성 확보 및 운전기사의 불친절, 무정차 통과 등에 관한 것으로써 시민들이 가장 알고싶어 하는 사항이 버스의 실시간 운행상황임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실시간 버스정보제공을 통해 노선버스 이용자들의 대기시간 감소 및 이용편의를 증진시키고, 이를 통해 승용차 이용자를 대중교통수단으로 유도하여 대중교통을 활성화시키는 버스정보시스템(BIS ; Bus Information System)을 정립하며, 충주시 교통여건을 감안한 버스정보시스템 도입전략을 수립하고, 도입에 따른 기대효과를 분석하여 합리적이고 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 지방자치단체 특히 충주시의 지능형 교통정보 시스템을 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다.

This study examined the primary features of cultural program operation instances on the metaverse platform. In addition, an interview was performed with librarians in charge of the public library culture program to get their perspectives on the viability of using the metaverse platform for each sort of cultural program. Ultimately, we intended to provide guidelines for organizing and administering a cultural program on the metaverse platform in a public library. The results showed that there are seven types of cultural programs using the Metaverse platform: library tours, education, reading, exhibits, performances, games, and events. librarians in charge of the public library culture program responded positively to the future use of library tours, exhibitions, games, and events. Education can be used depending on the character of the educational program while reading and performances are less likely to be used in the future. Regarding how to use the Metaverse platform, Zepeto was most likely to be used for tours, and Gather and Zep for education, exhibits, games, and events.

This study had been carried out based on the users' behavioral pattern in order to survey characteristics of bus station, a public facility. As a detailed analysis, quantification theory type 3 was performed based on 50 number of samples installed at each local governments as targets in order to evaluate bus station attributes and to survey its characteristics. As a result of this experiment, it was revealed that installation pattern of bus station would differ depending on characteristics of four axis of migrating population density, functionality and simplicity, metropolitan city of densely populated companies, local city with strong locality, the front of school with dense migrating population, secluded rural village, specific place like museum, rural area with dense migrating population. Therefore, in this study, detailed items were suggested comprehensively so that the design considering local environment and users' characteristics, in addition to modeling features of bus stations suitable for local characteristics, could be progressed. If any design and model complying with local environmental features based on above contents should be applied, bus station would be assessed by the users more positively in the future.

This study aims to analyze usability of public libraries' metaverse platform. This study also examines factors that affect usability and immersion of metaverse platform of Gangbuk culture information library, Hanbat library in Daejeon, and Mapo Central library. In order to conduct this study, 60 college students participated in online survey and experiment. There was a statistically significant positive relationship between learnability and usability, and between GUI and immersion in every library. Learnability and usability of Gangbuk culture information library were statistically significantly higher than other libraries. On the other hand, GUI score and immersion of Hanbat library was significantly higher than other libraries. However, given that there were few users connected to metaverse platform, there was no significant difference in interactivity among libraries. This study examines characteristics (including strengths and weaknesses) of metaverse platform of each library. It is expected that the results of this study could contribute to the improvement of usability of public library's metaverse platform.
