  • The purpose of this study was to examine the path model of child's sex, temperament, maternal parenting behavior, and child's emotion regulation on child social behaviors. The subjects were 286 elementary school children. Data were gathered through questionnaires reported by mothers and teachers. Path analysis revealed that (1) mother's overprotective or coercive parenting behaviors effected neither child's emotion regulation nor social behaviors (2) child's sex and activity level effected child's aggression both directly and indirectly through child's emotion regulation (3) child's 'activity level' and 'avoidance' temperament effected child's social withdrawal both directly and indirectly through child' emotion regulation. Findings underscore the role of emotion regulation as a mediator in predicting child aggression and social withdrawal.

  • This study examined the pathological phenomenon of smartphone addiction and prevention. The smartphone provides many conveniences but it also brings psychological and physical problems, such as failure of learning capacity, maladjustment, and impulsive actions. To provide actual proof, this material included correlation analysis among physical, verbal aggression and smartphone addiction factors through high school students. Using SPSSWIN 22.0, frequency analysis, mail factor analysis, T-test, correlation analysis, regression analysis were also included. The main factors of smartphone addiction discrimination were divided into 'aim for imaginary', 'daily obstacles', 'tolerance', 'withdrawal symptom'. Smartphone addicted group members show the result of r=0.668 (physical aggression), r=0.704 (verbal aggression), r=0.481 (hostility). (p< 0.001). This study focused on the aggression from smartphone overuse and the positive effect of music for adolescent's mind stability. Moreover, suggestions for constant research on the pathological phenomena from smartphone addiction and prevention programs are made.

  • Recently, as cyber attacks have been activated, many such attacks have come into contact with various media. Research on security engineering and reverse engineering is active, but there is a lack of research that integrates them and applies attack systems through cost effective attack engineering. In this paper, security - enhanced information systems are developed by security engineering and reverse engineering is used to identify vulnerabilities. Using this vulnerability, we compare and analyze lifecycle models that construct or remodel attack system through attack engineering, and specify structure and behavior of each system, and propose more effective modeling. In addition, we extend the existing models and tools to propose graphical attack specification models that specify attack methods and scenarios in terms of models such as functional, static, and dynamic.

  • This study examined the effects of maternal parenting behaviors, children's social information processing, daily hassles, and emotional regulation on school-age children's aggressive behaviors using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) analysis. Subjects were 589 children in 4, 5, 6th grade and their mothers from three elementary schools in Seoul, Korea. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and SEM analysis by SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 4.0. The SEM shows differences between overtly aggressive and relationally aggressive children. Maternal parenting behaviors affected their children's overt aggression through children's emotional regulation. Additionally, maternal parenting behaviors affected children's overt aggression through children's daily hassles and social information processing. Maternal parenting behaviors influenced children's relational aggression through children's daily hassles and children's social information processing.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate correlation of adolescent eating attitude and psychological factors which might influence the eating attitude such as depression, aggression and impulsiveness. The author also tried to identify relationship between adolescent eating attitude and biological factors such as serum cholesterol level and triglyceride level. Two hundred and forty one female high school students without physical disorder were selected as study subjects. For the study, Eating Attitude Test-26KA (EAT -26KA), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) -Korean version, Barrat Impulsiveness scale (BIS) -Korean version, and Buss-DurKee Hostility Inventory (BDHI) -Korean version were used. Serum cholesterol level and triglyceride level were also investigated. For the purpose of identifying factors which could influence eating attitude of adolescence, stepwise multiple linear regression analysis was done. Total score of BDHI could be most significant factor to explain eating attitude, and BDI, serum cholesterol/triglyceride level be second, third position respectively. But, BIS was not significant predicting parameter. The contributing portion of these factors to explain eating behavior was 25.9%.

  • Conduct disorder has been subclassified by the symptom characteristics of socialization, aggression, or age of onset. In ICD-10, ‘Conduct disorder confined to family context’ has been developed as a distinct subtype. Which delineates the conduct problems which take place only in the family and related situation. These authors experienced a case which presents a child who shows aggressive and violent behavior to his parent and brother, severe tamper tantrum and destructiveness only in family. By through history taking, observation and treatment after admission, we could find that insecure and ambivalent attachment between parent and child due to chronic neglect and abuse, and inconsistent parental behavior contribute to many behavioral and emotional problems of this child. We reviewed the relationship between conduct disorder and family pathology and treatment strategy for conduct disorder with family problems.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the middle-aged Korean's experience discriminated level on the acts of discrimination against the elderly, and moderating effect of the awareness of social status of the aged. The subjects were 509 middle-aged(40-54 years old) from the Korean General Social Survey(KGSS)(2011). This study applied descriptive analyses, correlation analysis and multi-regression with STATA14. The results showed that the level of discrimination against the elderly was 2.20points(5 points), and awareness of elderly's social status was 2.45 points (4 points). Middle-aged Korean's experience discriminated was 0.74. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that discriminatory experiences affect positively on discrimination against the elderly. However, the awareness of elderly' social status had a negative interaction effect on the relationship between discriminatory experiences and discrimination against the elderly. Discrimination against the elderly was increased when the level of experience of discrimination was high and the social status of the aged was low. Based on the results, this study suggested practical and political opinions for reducing Discrimination against the elderly.

  • The present study examined the mediating effects of parent-child stress on the relationship between perceived neighborhood disorder and problem behaviors. The research hypotheses were based on Pearlin's(1999) stress process model and findings from previous literature. The data from the $4^{th}$-wave of the Korea Youth Panel Survey (KYPS; a panel survey of $8^{th}$-grade students) were analyzed to identify the relationships between the study variables. The sample included 2,301 adolescents (16 to 18 years old). Findings showed that parent-child stress partially mediated the relationship between perceived neighborhood disorder and problem behaviors in adolescents. As adolescents perceived more neighborhood disorder, they were more likely to experience anxiety/depression and aggression. In addition, greater neighborhood disorder were found to be associated with the higher levels of the parent-child stress. Furthermore, when controlling for perceived neighborhood disorder, the higher levels of the parent-child stress were found to be associated with the higher levels of anxiety/depression and aggression. The Sobel test and bootstrapping results showed that parent-child stress partially mediates the relationship between perceived neighborhood disorder and anxiety/depression, as well as the relationship between perceived neighborhood disorder and aggression. Based on the results, we discussed social welfare implications of the study findings to prevent adolescent problem behavior as well as the limitations of the study.
