  • The objective of this study is to study the selection factors and satisfaction factors for different types of driving ranges and establish a basic date for marketing strategies of driving ranges. The research target group was fixed to customers older than full twenty of 12 indoor, outdoor driving ranges located in G metropolitan city & N city, M city, S city in. 564 surveys were used as effective samples. The result was achieved using the above mentioned objectives and methods.

Effect of Service Encounter and Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction in the Golf Rage (골프연습장 고객접점서비스가 서비스 질 및 고객만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was to analyze the effect of service encounter and service quality, customer satisfaction in the golf range. This subject who answered to giver questionaire was 291 persons. The result of reliability check up was here below; Chronbach' ${\alpha}=.817{\sim}.914$. To analyze materials, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regressions were used as statistic analysis techniques.On the basis of the results, the conclusions were as follows; Firstly, there was a significant influence between service encounter and service quality. Secondly, there was a significant influence between service encounter and customer satisfaction. Lastly, there was a significant influence between service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • This study examined the relationship among service quality perceived by consumers according to the types of driving ranges(I: indoor and outdoor), market segmentation, the reason for choice of the driving range, customer satisfaction and loyalty and analyze their causal relationship. To reach this goal, this study conducted a questionnaire research for consumers of driving ranges by dividing it into the indoor and outdoor ranges. The quest-factor analysis(SPSSWIN Ver 13.0), the confirmatory factor analysis and the structural equation modeling method (AMOS 6.0) were used to analyze the data collected for this study. Based on the findings of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: The reason for the choice in both indoor driving and outdoor driving had no direct influence on the customer loyalty, but it had an indirect influence on the customer loyalty through customer satisfaction and service expectation. In addition, the service expectation had a direct influence on the customer loyalty in both indoor driving and outdoor driving. Therefore, the customer satisfaction in both indoor driving and outdoor driving serve as a significant mediating variable to reinforce the relationship between the service quality and customer loyalty.

  • The purpose of this study was to figure out the structural relations between service quality perceived by golf driving range customers, service value, customer satisfaction, and repurchase behavior. For the subject of this study, we selected 374 persons among customers who used 8 golf driving ranges located at 'P' Metropolitan city, 'U' Metropolitan city, or 'C' city in 'K' do through the Convenient Sampling Method. The results were as follows: First, the golf driving range's service quality has a positive effect on the service value. Second, the golf driving range's service quality has a positive effect on the customer satisfaction. Third, the service value has a positive effect on the customer satisfaction. Fourth, the service value has a positive effect on the repurchase behavior. Finally, the customer satisfaction has a positive effect on the repurchase behavior.

The Relationship among Trust of Instructors, Exercise Flow and Psychological Happiness for Golf Participants (골프참여자의 지도자신뢰와 운동몰입 및 심리적 행복감의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between golf leader trust, exercise flow and psychological happiness for golf practice users. This study surveyed 256 golfers. The data were used to examine the causal relationship between variables using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Main findings were as follows: First trust of Instructors had a positive effect on exercise flow. Second, exercise flow had a positive effect on psychological happiness. Third, trust of Instructors had a positive effect on psychological happiness. Fourth, exercise flow mediated the relationship between golf participant trust of Instructors and psychological happiness. If golf participants have higher confidence in their leaders and more commitment to exercise, the quality of life will be higher.

  • A golf ball collecting robot in a golf ball driving range has been recently required because it is safer and more economic than a human being. In this paper, the golf ball recognition and distance estimation system based on a neural network and OpenCV is developed for the robot. The simulation results show that the recognition ratio is over 87% for the distance of less than 120cm and accurate rate for distance estimation is over 85% for golf balls in 30-180cm from a webcam.

  • Diverse sports are appearing due to the enhanced quality of life and improved cultural standards of the present society. In particular, as golf gains greater popularity from the public, many golf ranges are being constructed near residential areas. However, the hitting noise generated by golf disrupt the pleasant living environment of neighboring residents to generate strong disputes related with noise. In this perspective, this study analyzed the characteristics and dispersion of sound pressure level according to the frequency of hitting noises generated in golf driving ranges and used this data to predict the range of effect through computer simulation. Thus, it is stipulated that these research results can be used as useful data for establishing effective plans in the future during civil complaints reported in relation to hitting noises in golf driving ranges.

The Relationship among Trust of Instructors, Leisure Benefit and Resilience for Golf Participants (골프참여자의 지도자 신뢰와 여가 이득 및 회복탄력성의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among trust of instructors, leisure benefit and resilience for golf participants. To achieve the goal of this study, a total of 250 questionnaires were distributed and 250 copies were collected back. Out of those returned questionnaires, insincerely replied or double-replied questionnaires were excluded and finally 234 questionnaires were analyzed for this study. For analysis of the data, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equating modeling were conducted using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Main findings were as follows: First trust of instructors had a positive effect on leisure benefit. Second, leisure benefit had a positive effect on resilience. Third, trust of instructors had a positive effect on resilience. Fourth, leisure benefit mediated the relationship between golf participant trust of instructors and resilience. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to make golf participation lead to satisfaction, and in addition, it is necessary to seek various and convenient services so that various benefits can be generated through golf, and even psychological management through careful observation of golf participants. Is judged.
