도로안정성을 고려한 친환경적 터널 갱문 설계 및 시공사례

  • 터널 설계에 있어 갱구부의 위치 및 갱문형식의 선정은 터널 및 갱구사면의 안정성뿐만 아니라, 주위환경과의 조화 및 자연환경 훼손 최소화 등과 같은 환경적인 측면에서도 매우 중요한 부분이다. 현행 국내의 경우 경제성과 시공성 위주의 갱구부 위치 선정으로 과다 절취구간이 발생되어 환경훼손, 민원문제 발생, 과다한 용지 매입비용 등의 여러 가지 부작용이 발생되고 있다. 또한, 갱문 형식의 선정에 있어서 갱구부의 지형여건 및 제반 환경적 영향을 고려하지 않고 원통절개형과 면벽식 갱문의 획일적인 적용으로 주변지형과의 부조화를 이루는 사례가 다수 발생하고 있으며, 갱구부 상단의 유실된 토석이 완충공간의 부족으로 도로 노면상에 낙하되는 사고가 발생하고 있어 그에 대한 대책이 필요한 실정이다. 이와 같은 문제점을 보완하기 위해 갱구부 절취구간 최소화를 위한 구체적인 최소토피고 기준을 마련하였으며, 갱구상단 지형경사의 완급, 갱문주위의 배수기능, 낙석${\cdot}$산사태 등의 발생가능성 등을 고려한 새로운 갱문형식을 제안하고 체계적인 검토를 수행하였다. 이를 통해 점차 강화되는 환경보호정책 방향에 부응하고 자연환경 훼손을 최소화하며, 특히 해빙기와 집중호우시 낙석${\cdot}$눈사태로부터 도로의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 터널 갱문부 설계기준을 제시하였다. 또한, 실제 고속도로 터널의 설계 적용사례를 통하여 본 설계기준의 적용성을 분석하였으며, 실제 갱문 시공사례를 소개하여 향후 설계 및 시공에 도움이 되고자 하였다.

An Analysis on the Users' behavior of the Parking Area for the handicapped (장애인전용주차구역제도의 이용행위 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is analyzes the violate behavior the Parking Area for the handicapped and monitor the management problem, therefore presents the improvement alternatives of it. We use the field interview survey method by visiting the government office of cities of 16, commercial facility, housings, medical centers, cultural and sports facilities, express highway rest area. We visited the 50 places and interviewed the 227 violating persons. As a result, violate behavior is divided into the not attachment of sticker on parking possibility and not accompaniment with walking disabled person. We presented the improvement alternatives for the lawful usage of the parking area for the handicapped. First, We have to magnify a recognition and a advertisement about the parking area for the handicapped. Second, We have to improve a management of expense, manpower and civil complains, etc. We have to prepare the legal revision which strengthens the concrete punishment for a violate behavior improvement.

  • The increase of pollutant loadings from nonpoint sources affect the water quality of the major rivers in Korea. Consequently, the need for managing the nonpoint source (NPS) pollution becomes the main concern of the Korean Ministry of Environment (MOE). Recently, the policy was changed from pollutant concentration-restricting approach to the total maximum daily load (TMDL) approach to improve the water quality and protect the aquatic ecosystem. Part of the program is the construction of Best Management Practice (BMP) pilot facilities basically to control NPS. Most of the BMPs adopted were foreign technologies which could not be properly employed in the country due to some limitations such as climate, watershed characteristics, etc. In other words, to be able to apply the BMPs, research on its applicability is necessary. In this study, a three-year monitoring has been conducted to assess the treatment performance of the BMP installed in highway toll plaza and parking lot. The data gathered aid in the characterization of NPS pollutants in runoff and estimation of the pollutant removal efficiency of the BMP. The results will be used for the future implementation of BMP in different land uses as well as for the determination of optimum operation and maintenance.

  • In the present age, a vehicle works important part in our lives and economical domain that transport people, freights, and everything. And both of its number and value are increasing more and more. But user's convenience, control system could not be archived improvement than technological success. In this paper, we suggest some kinds of administrative agendas; simplifying executive processes, designing vehicle information system using by RFID which includes Ubiquitous skill and optical communication network. Especially, this paper suggests public vehicle control model which ran simplify every executive processes of vehicle's life in the newest method. There are many kinds of RFID applicative products about transportation. And a dual invest should be interrupted for economical purpose. So we also proposes some way for problems of these types.

Biotope Types and Mapping for Ecological Management of Tricholoma matsutake Production Area: The Case of Expressway in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do (송이생산지의 생태적 관리를 위한 소나무비오톱 유형화 및 지도 작성: 강원도 양양군 동서고속도로 건설구간을 중심으로)

  • This research is to suggest an ecological management methods by classification of biotope type and its mapping for Tricholoma matsutake. The target area was construction site of the East Hongchun - Yangyang Highway (Yangyang section) where massive production of Tricholoma matsutakes is in place. Specifically, the 700 m long range of area around the road route, Yangyang section, which is over a total area of $19,79km^2$. The flow of this research was as follows: first studied were the characteristics of the Yangyang Tricholoma matsutakes; second, reviews on previous studies on Tricholoma matsutakes; third, the formulation of standards and processes of biotope type considering Tricholoma matsutake production; and fourth, mapping of biotope considering the production area of Tricholoma matsutake. In 24.77% of the region, slope angle measured $30{\sim}40^{\circ}C$, which is suitable for Tricholoma matsutake production. Also, 17.44% of the region had southward vegetation structures, and as for the Pinus densiflora; 26.00% had average receipts; the tree ages was $38{\pm}8.34$ years; and the average density of canopy layer was $9.55{\pm}4.89/100m^2$. The soil acidity (pH) values of 5.0 to 5.6(47.96%) > 5.6 to 7.0(42.90%) > 4.0 to 5.0(9.14%) were slightly high for Tricholoma matsutake growth; but 57.10% of the area had a soil pH of 4.0-5.6. The organic horizon (A0 layer) was $3.39{\pm}2.14cm$, and the mean depths were 4-6cm(78.03%) > 0-2cm(18.10%) > 2-4cm(3.87%). Based on the results of previous studies and field researches on the presence of vegetation (the pine dominance ratio), the topographic structure (the terrain characteristics and slopes), the receipt, the soil structure (the soil acidity and the organic layers interposed between the depths), and the vegetation density, six clusters based on the identified types of biotopes are produced in this paper. Area of distribution according to the type of biotope was Tricholoma matsutake of the potential-production (II) biotope (32.86%) > Tricholoma matsutake of the inadequate-production biotope (22.17%) > Tricholoma matsutake of the adequate (II)-production biotope (17.79%) > Tricholoma matsutake of the adequate (I)-production biotope (14.86%) > Tricholoma matsutake of the potential-production (I) biotope (9.77%) > Tricholoma matsutake of the produced biotope (2.55%).

  • Road traffic noise is closely related to road traffic environment, including traffic volumes by type and travel speed. In this study, we stated some issues and analyzed the relationships between road traffic noise and traffic flow characteristics. First, in attempt to find the answer to the question "When does the loudest traffic noise occur?" we reviewed the issue in the terms of traffic flow. As a result of analyzing level of service through Korea Highway Traffic Noise model, the actual maximum noise occurred in level of service D rather than level of service E, on the capacity state. It shows that maximum noise would be most likely to occur right before and after the peak hours. Second, this paper was looking for the method of a more easy and accurate traffic speed estimation to predict traffic noise. This paper proposed sketch planning techniques of speed-volume curve by level of service on Korea Highway Capacity Manual. As a result of trend line modeling, it was judged that quadratic form is a suitable function, and coefficient of determination ($R^2$) was higher than 0.96, respectively.

Design of Truck Escape Ramps (자동차 긴급 피난 차선의 계획 설계)

  • This synthesis has been prepared from a review of literature on Truck Escape Ramps technology and a survey of current practice by state department of transportation. Their locations have been determined usually from a combination of accident experience and en-gineering judgement, but new tools are emerging that can identify needs and sites without waiting for catastrophic accidents to happen. The Grade Severity Rating Systems holds promise in this regard. Design Procedures for truck excape ramps continue to evolve. Gravel arrester beds are clearly the preferred choice across the country Rounded aggregate, uniformly graded in the approximate size range of 13 to 18mm. Tech-nical publications typically have dassified TER types as paved gravity, sandpile, and ar-rester bed ramps. The design speed for vehicle entry into the ramp in critical to the deter-mination of ramp length. An escape ramp should be designed for a minimum entry speed of 130km/hr, a 145km/hr design being preferred. The ramps should be straight and their angle to the roadway align-ment should be as possible. The grade of truck escape ramps show the adjustment of ramp design to local topography, such as the tradeoff of ramp length against earthwork requirements. A width of 9 to 12m would more safety acommodate two or more outof con-trol vehicles. Reguarding comments on the most effective material, most respondents cited their own specification or referred to single graded, rounded pea gravel. The consensus essentially Is that single graded, well -rounded gravel is the most desirable material for use in arrester beds. The arrester beds should be constructed with a minimum aggregate depth of 30cm. Successful ramps have used depths between 30 and 90cm.

  • Roads deeply affect the life of people and keep doing an important role to support economic growth of a country. According to the budget plan of the ministry of construction and transportation of Korea, 8.1 trillion won have been allotted for road investment in the year of 2002 which occupy 61% of the transportation infrastructure special account (13.3 trillion won) and 4.7% of the total national budget (1,740 trillion won). It is true that services generated from road investment such as mobility enhancement and increased accessibility have shown positive effects through shortened travel time and decreased vehicle operating cost. However, it is also notable that many negative effects are gradually being discussed and those are nowadays getting severer due to enhanced people interests about road construction, increased concerns on environment and active public involvement that were evoked by traffic accidents, air pollution & noise and destruction of environment. Road construction processes in Korea are normally governed by administrative sectors (suppliers) not by users. These processes ate very weak to accomodate user s needs and community concerns thus easy to fail finalizing a road project without hassles. A public hearing process is supposed to be held in the processes of detailed design step and the environmental impact analysis. However, it is not enough to grab user's needs and community concerns. Increased public involvement frequencies, optimized public involvement timing and enhanced depth of public involvement magnitude are suggested to improve the current poor public involvement schemes in road planning and design processes. The application of these recommended methods to the road planning and design processes may guarantee the change from the current supplier-oriented schemes to the new user-oriented one. Also, this study suggests to reset objectivity and clarity of road construction process, to make conciliation guidelines based on many practical cases that produced good results, to introduce public involvement techniques in a stepwise basis, and to foster the professionals via education and training programs.

마지막 최대빙하기 이후 북극해 스발바드군도 Van Mijenfjorden의 고환경 변화

  • Van Mijenfjorden은 스발바드 군도의 Spitsbergen 서부에 위치하는 두 번째로 큰 피오르드로 온난하고 염분도가 높은 북대서양의 표층수가 북극해로 유입되는 Gateway에 위치하기 때문에 전지구적이며 지역적인 기후변화의 영향을 받는 지역이다. 1999년 IMAGES 프로그램의 일환으로 프랑스 탐사선인 'R/V Marion Dufresne'을 이용하여 북극해의 스발바드 군도에 위치하는 Van Mijenfjorden (77$^{\circ}$ 46.87'N and 15$^{\circ}$ 17.81'E)에서 약 18m의 빙ㆍ해양 퇴적물 코아(MD99-2305)를 시추하여 마지막 최대 빙하기 이후의 고환경변화를 연구하였다. AMS 14C 연대 측정에 의하면 diamicton 층인 하부 2m를 제외한 16m의 퇴적층은 지난 12cal. ka BP경에 피오르드에 존재하던 조수빙하(tidewater glacier)가 해빙되기 시작한 이후에 퇴적되었다. 특히 유기지화학 자료와 부유성과 저서성 유공충의 산출양상 그리고 저서성 유공충인 C. reniforme의 산소ㆍ탄소 안정동위원소 비에 의하면 코아 MD99-2305에는 Van Mijenfjorden에서 홀로세 동안에 일어난 퇴적환경변화를 잘 기록하고 있다. 특히 홀로세 동안에 피오르드내의 퇴적환경 변화는 조수빙하의 확장과 후퇴와 밀접한 관계가 있으며, 유기물의 탄소동위원소(13Corg) 비는 -24에서 -22$\textperthousand$ 값의 변화를 보인다. 이는 Van Mijenfjorden 퇴적물에 공급된 유기물은 육상과 해양기원이 혼합되어 퇴적되었음을 지시한다. 지난 12 cal. ka BP 이후 13Corg 값이 뚜렷하게 변하는 것은 Van Mijenfiorden에서 조수빙하의 변동과 표층수에서의 생산력의 변화를 강하게 반영한다. 강하게 반영한다.53%가 이공계 출신, 100대 기업 CEO의 38.4%가 이공계 출신, 대입수능시험에서 자연계 지원비율이 감소 -40.1%('99)\$\longrightarrow$34.7%('00)\$\longrightarrow$29.4%('01)\$\longrightarrow$26.9%('02)\$\longrightarrow$30.3%('03)\$\longrightarrow$31.5%\$\longrightarrow$'04)필요성, 효과적인 운전자 교육 정책 등이 그것이다. 자동차 긴급 피난 차선은 유용한 시설로 여러곳에서 그 기능이 발휘되고 있으므로 많은 고속도로 관계자들은 설계, 시공 및 유지 관리 측면에서 유의해야 할 것이다.미세조직을 광학현미경으로 압출방향에 평행한 방향과 수직방향으로 관찰하였고, 열간 압출재 이방성을 검토하기 위하여 X선 회절분석을 실실하여 결정방위를 확인하였다. 전기 비저항 및 Seebeck 계수 측정을 위하여 각각 2$\times$2$\times$10$mm^3$ 그리고 5$\times$5$\times$10TEX>$mm^3$ 크기의 시편을 준비하였다.준비하였다.전류를 구성하는 주요 입자의 에너지 영역(75~l13keV)에서 가장 높은(0.80) 상관계수를 기록했다. 넷째, 회복기 중에 일어나는 입자들의 유입은 자기폭풍의 지속시간을 연장시키는 경향을 보이며 큰 자기폭풍일수록 현저했다. 주상에서 관측된 이러한 특성은 서브스톰 확장기 활동이 자기폭풍의 발달과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 시사한다.se that were all low in two aspects, named "the Nonsignificant group". Study of Revitalizing of Daegu International Airport (대구국제공항 활성화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the continuous expansion of the highway, the opening of the high-speed railway(KTX), etc, the demands of domestic air transport decreasing. In the circumstances, airports and local governments are spending themselves in taking a measure to activate local airports. In this aspect, this study seeks the smooth flow of human movement through the activation of Daegu International Airport by analyzing the present condition of Daegu International Airport in relation to the appearance of the high-speed railway, deducing plans for activating airports, and presenting the roadmaps for long-, mid- and short-term roles for the development of Daegu Airport, and Presents substantial fulfilling plans to secure the competitive power of Daegu International Airport by speeding up the flow of air goods of the area for the long run. It is suggested in the study that by setting up an organization exclusively responsible for activating Daegu International Airport in the city of Daegu, supporting local travel agencies to promote consistent demands, supporting aviation companies to employ Daegu International Airport as a major air base, establishing airlines with priority for airports that open newly in local cities of Japan and establishing and expanding airlines in China areas be promoted actively. Ministry of Construction & Transportation makes it a means of main airport Policy to only support Incheon International Airport to be a hub. However not only Incheon International Airport should be an amok representing the country, but also the wide Metropolitan area should supply the demands, and airports based in the West and East Coast areas need to be developed in the future. It is suggested that since air demands of domestic local airports are based on the demands of the of gin destination in neighboring region, multiple bases need to be developed. It is suggested that by developing not 1 in mega hub (Incheon International Airport) but 1 in mega hub. 2 in regional hub (the West and East Coast) and Jeju foy the tourism hub in our developing airports system.
